ON THE WAY TO WITCHDOM

SHAWNA'S POV:

" You came into my life,

like autumn leaves,

you left me like that,

when I was in need.

You lied day by day,

that you loved me a lot,

Now did I know,

that you did not."

Dried tears on my cheeks and puffy eyes were as still as a stoned picture on my face. The harder I try to hold on, I fall. Slowly I am losing myself. Am I worthy of all this pain? I kept questioning myself. Maybe not... Not like this. I know I have made mistakes in the past, but I never did anything with my consent, I was betrayed too, I was been fooled and been played. Then what is my fault in this? I have been hurt too. But it never let me lose my conscience. I have worked harder these past years to gather myself from the broken past. I have faced a lot too.!!!

How can he play me like that? How can he....? Was his love so fake, that he can easily forget us and I cannot even stop thinking about him?

"I was a time for you to pass,

Yet you make me believe what love was.

A sad chuckle left from my mouth, thinking about the promises and dreams he made me see. Fool I was true. Looking like a maniac, who lost her mind I sat on my seat. I tried to hold on to myself not breaking down.

No matter what my heart will always be his. But to my self-respect, I must be strong enough to let him go. I will be happy if he is happy.

I wiped off my tears and cleared my throat, and fixed myself. I have to restart my new life and that would be with my kingdom, my people.

The carriage run on its speed towards the WitchDom kingdom as I sat there in silence. I wonder if Junnie had found any information regarding Jennifer. And then suddenly the carriage halt once again. I sighed in frustration. Why does always my carriage stop in middle? Who is this now? I knitted my brows in annoyance as I peeped through the window to see who was it.

To my surprise, it was Junnie. And there was Jennifer and a man behind her.

She found her!!!. Thank god she is safe. But who is the guy next to her? They were looking restless and scared. They were panting heavily. Were they perhaps running? I came down from my chariot as I walked towards them with a concerned face. I asked-" Junnie?... Are you okay? Jennifer.... where were you? We were looking for you!!! Are you okay? And this is....?"

Junnie took a deep breath before saying-" I am telling you everything come"

I frowned and asked-" Where"

She didn't reply to anything as she dragged me with herself, following Jennifer and that man behind us. I was confused about what was going on. I looked at the coachman to gesture him to go ahead without me. As he left, I went with them.

We entered the forest of Illuminaire.

I looked at the surrounding with a frown as I asked-" Junnie!!! Will you tell me what is going on? Where are you taking me to? And..."

She cutt me off by saying-" Just follow me, Shawna."

I had no choice other than to follow her quietly.

After some time, we reached a certain distance and she stopped. She looked around carefully to make sure no one is there and turned towards me. I asked in confusion-" Now tell me what is the matter? Why did you bring me here? What is going on?"

Her face had a scared expression as she replied-" Shawna, listen to me carefully okay? Commander Zenith is dead!!"

I yelled in shock with my eyes wide open-" What?"

She nodded her head and replied-" Yes, not only that, but I saw something which is very serious!!"

I asked-" What is it?"

She sighed as she said everything about Jennifer and Jordan. How they met, and how she was lost in an Elfland. How she came here to find the suspect and Jordan followed her here. She then told me, how commander Zenith's body was found near the portal and they saw a few men in black covered beside his body. And that one of them is Mr. Stagrid Lenin.]

My eyes widen as I looked at Jordan with a shocking expression. I was fond to see an Elf for the first time. "A portal?"- I asked in shock.

As Junnie replied -" Yes, Shawna, I have seen it"

It was still hard for me to believe that there is an actual portal to teleport to an Elfland.

I looked at Jennifer and Jordan carefully as she was explaining everything. I asked-" Jordan? An ElfKing....? But..."

He cut me off by saying-" I know it is hard for you to believe in Elves now, as we have been told to have perished a long ago, but this is the truth. We were kept hidden to save our species."

I blankly nodded while looking at him.

Jennifer looked at me with a frown as she clung her hands in Jordan's arms and said-" Oh come on Shawna, stop staring at him, For god's sake you are married now!!!"

The word 'married' brought me back some memories that I don't want to recall right now. Junnie rolled her eyes on Jennifer as she said-" I can't believe I am helping her!!!"

They had a stare competition for a second as I sighed and said-" come on stop it now, you two. And Jennifer stops exaggerating everything on your own. If you need my help you better behave. Do not forget I am Queen Parshawna now, Not the Shawna, you use to bully in school."

I had to take a stand for myself now as I did. From now on I will not tolerate anyone telling me worthless. But for now, the main problem is ahead. There is an Elfland and there is a portal. The elves were been abducted just the same as the witches/wizards from here is been abducted. there is something huge hiding behind all of these. I must find it out before it is too late.

Junnie said-" Shawna, about those men who came to see commander Zenith's body, there was something about them!!!"

I asked with a frown-" What is it about?"

She replied-" they were not from any kingdom, but seemed to be from a cult!!!"

I asked in a frown on my face-" Cult?"

She nodded as Jennifer spoke-" Yes, my dad's figure ... was unusual. Like he is not in himself. I have never seen my dad like that before"

I asked -" Are you sure it was Mr. Lenin?"

She nodded. The sadness and frustration can be seen on her face. I know it was hard to see our dear one in danger. She said-" I am sorry Shawna, but it was my dad. But I am sure, he is innocent... He must have been blackmailed to be with them... He is not like this."

Tears were formed in the corner of her eyes. I can feel her pain as I sighed while saying-" Hold on Jennifer. I will look at this matter... And I will make sure no innocent shall be harmed this time."

For the first time, she came suddenly and hugged me while sobbing in my arms. I was a little shocked and not sure what to do. I just patted her back to make sure she calm down. She mumbled between her sobs-" T-Thank you, Shawna, I know I can trust you in this"

I broke the hug and smiled at her while nodding my head. She said-" And... I-I am sorry for everything... Can you forgive me?"

I know she has down mistakes in the past, but when she is ready to rectify them. I must give chance to her. Her eyes were genuine and I know she is telling with all her sincerity. I smiled and nodded while saying-" I forgive you, Jennifer. I am happy that you decided to change. I will support you."

She has been all emotional while I saw a real woman in her for the first time today. Junnie sarcastically smiled and said-" Be aware... once a Bitch... Always a Bitch..."

Jennifer throws a fist at her as she dodged it quickly making us chuckle at their behavior.

" okay. Coming back to the point. We have to visit the Elfland once"- I said while looking at them with a serious expression.

Jordan said-" You are always welcome to Elfland Queen Shawna!!!"

I smiled at him while Jennifer started at us annoyingly. I ignored her as I said-" We must see from there what is wrong... might be we can get some clue out there"

We all agreed as Junnie showed the way to the portal. We stopped in front of the big broken portal ahead of us.

I looked at it in amazement, thinking how this has been formed here and been all the time without anyone's notice. Jordan said-" This way."

I nodded as Junnie and I entered the portal. Jordan forwarded his hand towards Jennifer as he asked-" Shall we?"

She nodded with a smile and gladly accepted his hands and entered the portal.

END OF SHAWNA'S POV:

As soon as they entered the portal, thinking no one has seen them, but there was one person who heard everything. It was the knight Min. He followed Shawna, by the order of William. He secretly heard all their conversation as he quickly went out from there to inform William.

He came out of the forest towards his horse which was standing a few steps ahead. He quickly pulled over as he began to ride back to WitchWorld. On his way back he met Priam who was riding with all his anger towards WitchDom. Min quickly pulled over as he bowed before his king.

Priam frowned and asked-" Knight Min? What are you doing here?"

Min replied while bowing down-" My king, I was ordered to follow queen Parshawna, by Prince William. hence I am here"

Hearing Shawna's name he frowned as he came down from his horse. He asked-" Shawna? Is she here? She... was supposed to be at WitchDom place!!!"

Min explained to him everything he heard in the forest as Priam frowned at his every word. He cannot believe there is a portal in the forest towards an elfland. He stood there in frustration in anger while thinking of Shawna.

PRIAM'S POV:

She is as stupid as she was before!!! I pushed my hair back in frustration thinking how stupid she is to go there alone. She always talks about big things but in reality, she is a stupid girl. She could have asked me to come with her... Or if not... she could have to ask William... or anyone... Why did she go there all alone? What if..... No.....!!!

I sighed as I determined to go after her. Just then I heard a few footsteps of horses as I looked at that side. I saw John along with his knights coming on our way.

He stopped before me as he got down while bowing before me a little. I said-" John... How many times do I have to tell you do not bow before me. We are still friends first, before all the designations we have.

John nodded but his expression was a little tense. I asked-" What is the matter?"

He looked at me with a worried face as he asked one of his men to bring something. I waited patiently. Soon they brought a body as I frowned and asked-" Who is this?"

" Commander Zenith"- He replied. He said how he found his body in the middle of the forest. John said-" I think there is something we are missing..."

I know what he means by that as I sighed and walked away from a little before saying-" I know what is it... Thus we will be going there"

He frowned as I said-" John you will come with me, and Min you take the others back to the palace and inform William. As him to prepare an army and reach the forest. I will send the signal somehow for help and he must be ready with everything. "

Min nodded and left along with the other men after bowing before me. I took John towards the forest of Illuminare. Min had already told the location before so it was not hard to find it.

John asked while gasping a little-" What is this ?"

" You will know. Follow me"- I replied as we entered the portal.
