One Lost family

IN AYA'S DEN

PATRICIA'S POV:

I was not feeling anything right now, as if I was caged inside. Something took over me as I was confused about what it was.

It was raining heavily as I walk down the unknown roads. I don't know where I am or where I am going. My consciousness died. I was a walking dead.

Something in my head says: " Remember your responsibility... Remember your existence... Slave... You must do what You are assigned to"

I reminded. I nodded as I agreed. I don't know If I was crying or the water from my eyes were flooding with this sudden unknown pain. Something is lost in me... What was it? Who am I? What I am assigned for?

I don't remember anything. Do I have a soul? Did I die? Where am I going?

I am trying to find the answer, as there was another sound in my head...

This one is not demanding... A soft voice. A child....-" Mommy? Save me... where are you?"

I couldn't understand who was the child calling to?... who was his mom?.... who was he?

But something in my heart ached for him. Who was he to me?

I don't understand anything as I kept fighting with myself. Soon the feelings went numb as my real consciousness caged in. Something deep took over me as my eyes flashed in white.

It was not me.

IN THE SEAH BEACH

SHAWNA'S POV:

With the curse broken now, the viewer before me had completely changed... The Sirens.... who were standing before me with there were now turned into beautiful mermaids and mermen. The female who was standing before us and had ordered me has now turned into a beautiful green mermaid. Her long beautiful tail was waving the waters. Her scales and skin were shining in the lights. She was the princess of the sea.

" My name is Linda... I am the princess of this sea... the provider to the healers...."- She said with pride. I smiled and said-" It was nice to meet you"

She smiled and replied-" Apologies My queen... for my previous behaviour... You see being trapped in this curse for years... had made us the monster we are not... But... somehow... Hope and frustration worked inside of us. I believe his majesty and her majesty shall forgive me for my rude behaviour."

Priam Stood there with a frown, not sure what to say. The look on him was not very satisfying. I quickly said-" I understand... It is just a matter of time. I hope we can make amends between us?"

" There are no doubts"- She replied with a grin.

"Here"- She handed me a small box. " This belongs to the true heir... which is you, Queen Shawna..."

I carefully took the box and opened it. There was a stone inside of it... But it was not red as I was told of... It was blue...

"This will only be activated by the touch of the true heir... Only she can make one wish out of it"- She said while looking at it.

I looked at her with a little worried face, But she smiled gently nodding her head. My eyes shifted to Priam who was looking proud at me. Next to him was Junnie who smiled brightly at me. I inhaled and touched the stone, with another bright light that covered us, I felt something in me. The tingles of my magic. They get stronger within the touch of the stone. As soon as the bright light disappeared I saw it turn into the red rubric stone I have heard of.

"Remember... Only one wish..."- She reminded.

I nodded while carefully closing the lid. This is probably one of the strongest weapons made till now. This can create or destroy anything in this world. I have just one attempt with it and I have to be very careful.

She smiled and came forth as she said-" You will be a true Queen of this land... I bless you with the healing power that you can use on yourself as well as others." She handed me a little plant. It was glowing in green. " This can cure up to 100 lives"

I smiled and said-" I will come back... when this war is over... and as I have given my words to the healers... I give you my words too... Our lands will unite... you will get back what is yours..."

I thanked her and we bid goodbyes.

The moments we landed on the deck, my eyes landed on Ruby, who was quiet all this time.

She lied...

My inner soul echoes in anger.

Without giving anyone any explanation I took my wand and captured her. "ligare". She was frozen in an invisible force in her place. Her eyes were shocked and widened in response to the sudden action.

She tried to whimpered but it was no use. She was no match in front of my magic.

John, Brad and King Alan gasped to see me using my powers.

John asked in excitement-" Does this means...?"

Priam replied with a grin-" It was more than you can think..."

"I am dying here to know everything"- John said with excitement in his voice.

But I was not affected by this now. my eyes darkened as the magic in me took over. I could feel the magic running through my veins, giving me the response and feel of each sensation inside of me. I was invincible once again...

I held my wand and walks slowly in front of her giving her the deadliest expression on my face.

King Alan asked-" What happened?"

"She lied to us..."- I roared. " We could have died...". I looked still right in her eyes. " I trusted in you... I gave you my words... but you chose to betray us?"- I asked in a threatening tone.

Her eyes were begging me, but she couldn't speak or move.

" You don't deserve to be the leader... You are a lier... and there is no room for liers in my kingdom..."- I warned as I held my wand ready to attack her.

" STOP!!!!"- A voice echoed in the air. I controlled myself. The magic flickered in my eyes trying to be in control. And I closed my eyes to calm down and looked back. It was Brad. His face was serious.

We all looked at him with a frown as Junnie asked with a sceptical eye-" Why did you save this girl?"

" Because... She- She is... daughter of Ben Dunnie"- he replied.

A shock and confusion spread across our faces. What is he even saying? Uncle Ben didn't have any daughter... He had a son... Who died years ago... Then...How... can it be?

I was confused.

I walked towards him and asked-" What are you talking about? Uncle Ben didn't have any daughter... he had a Son, which was killed by his wife... by the orders of Lady Georgia."

" That what we all thought... Until..."- He showed us a bracelet. The bracelet had the logo of our kingdom and it was made of gold. I took it in my hand and it was written on the other side -"To Ben from Jonny".

It was the gift my dad might have given to uncle Ben. But how did this come here?

It was too confusing. Finally, the female dwarf came forth and said-" I will explain you everything but before that can you please let her go?"

I looked at her with an angry face. I was not sure if I would want to listen to her. But she said-" I promise she will be on her best b behaviour."

I sighed and held the wand once more and said-" Solve"

She gasped in the air, as she fell on the floor with a loud thud. This was probably due to the lack of oxygen. But I didn't care. She was still a lier.

The female dwarf helped her get up. Her eyes were in tears. It was also filled with guilt. I was not sure of her emotions right now. The old female dwarf spoke-" This was the only thing she had from her birth parents."

I remembered the story she told me of her earlier... That means... I frowned as I looked at others. They were equally confused like me. How can it be possible? Why does no one know?

" She is a witch"- She said looking at her. Ruby was shocked by her words. She knew that her mother was the evil witch's slave but she had never known her father.

I asked Brad-" How did you find it?"

" Well... The day we came here... I doubted her. She never looked like the one she was staying with. last night... I was awake till the rise." he paused as his eyes met with Junnie's. He immediately looked away and continued-" That is when I saw her leaving Ruby's room. I asked her about Ruby's birth parents and she told me the whole story."

He paused and then looked at Ruby and continued-" That is when I asked her to show me the bracelet. I needed to be sure that she was a witch. But I found more than that. I wanted to tell you yesterday night, but something kept me from... It was personal"

He said with a little hesitant. He continued further-" And that is when I came to know She is the daughter of Mr Ben."

We gasped when we heard the whole story. She is Uncle Ben's daughter?

" NOOOO... I am the daughter of dwarfs... I don't take my birthparents as my parents anymore... The abundant me... I belong here... I am not a witch... Nor do I want to be... " She cried. " And... I- I am sorry for what happened earlier... But it was not intentionally. I needed to be sure that you were saying the truth... We pirates... have a hard time too. I couldn't... Just risk all of our lives". She looked down in guilt.

She had a point too. If I would have been in her place, I would have done the same thing too maybe. I sighed and said-" Still... You could have at least told us about the danger... What if any one of us had died? What if I didn't get back my powers? What if Junnie had got severe injuries?

Brad's attention quickly shifted to Junnie who was standing there holding her arms. Linda had healed her but the blood was still there. He quickly ran to her and hold her arms as he examined her carefully. He asked in his soft tone-" Are you okay?"

Junnie hid her injured arms and replied slowly-" Don't worry I am okay...". Involuntary he left her arms and moved back. But his eyes never left her.

Priam finally said-" We need to return back".

Junnie said-" yes... and Ruby will have to come with us"

" NO..." She growled a little backing off from us. " I am not leaving anywhere!!!!"

I took a deep breath and replied-" Well... You have to. We need to find out the truth... and if you really are Uncle Ben's daughter... you have to fulfil your responsibilities there too"

" Why would I have to fulfil the responsibilities for those who abandon me?"- She asked fighting with her tears.

" Well technically your mom did... not Uncle Ben!!"- I said.

" But he never came to search for me"- She said with a firm yet broken voice.

I could somehow feel how she is feeling right now. I have sympathy for her... But still, she needs to come with us once, at least to confirm the truth.

We returned to our room for the night. Ruby had somehow agreed to come with us. The next morning we shall leave. Tonight she wanted to have a night with her family and we all agreed. I was tired with the day as I took a warm shower and came back to the room. Priam was already waiting in the bed for me.

" I was scared today..."- I said while cuddling into him

" I am very proud of you"- He said while taking me in his arms.

I smiled at him as he kissed my temples and we drifted into sleep.

JUNNIE'S POV:

I was not in me lately. Since the last night incident somehow I was feeling a little confused. What could be the meaning of his action? No... I will not fall into his trap once again. I am not the Junni who would fall for him again and again and get hurt in the end.

given a thought, I have given him enough chances. It was always me, who have approached him. It was always me, who get hurt in the end. I have never stopped loving him, to be honest, but somehow I have become conscious.

I sighed and looked at my arms which was bandaged. The flashback of his face kept running in my head again and again.

"Are you okay?"

Why does he care?

I closed my eyes in frustration and laid down in bed. I tried to sleep but couldn't. The hushed sound of the wind outside kept filling my ears. At least I was happy to see Shawna and Priam getting back together again. There are many things we have to talk about. But I have to wait until the war.

Last time, I was weak and just had to stand there watching my people get hurt. This time, I won't let that happen. Felix will pay for his sins... I will make sure of it.

A loud knock break my thoughts as I understood that there was someone at my door. I sighed in a little frustration to see someone was here to see me at this hour of the night. Who can it be? I know it was not Shawna, because Priam probably won't leave her at this hour.

I opened the door and to my shock, it was no other than Brad. How am I supposed to react to this? Why is he here? At this hour?. I frowned not sure what to say or how to react.

"What are you?..."

" I just came to check on you... Are you okay? I-I mean... is it hurting much?"- He asked with the softest tone he could.

I looked at my bandaged arms and looked back with a nod.

" Can I come in?"- He asked.

Can he? I asked myself to get the answer. I nodded as he swiftly let himself in my cabin.

" Here... ' Angelica Sinensis ' It will help you to heal faster"- he handed me a herb.

" Why?"- I asked with a demanding voice.

" Because.. you were hurt..."- He replied blankly to me.

" No... Why do you care? Why do you act as you care for me?"

" Because I do!!!"

" Lier..... !!!! you don't... you never did... If you would have... Then... You couldn't have done that.."- My voice broke in the last. " Why did you kiss me yesterday? Am I just a joke to you?"

His eye soften and he stared at me with guilt. He wanted to say something but right now I was not in the mood to hear anything. The emotions in me breakthrough as I continued to blame-" You-you are the cause of all this.... the mess in my life... I hate you, Brad..."

He walked a little towards me as I said-" Stop... I don't want to see you again... Leave me"

He stood there with his head down. Of course, he should feel guilty about his doings. I was so angry at this time. I waited until he left towards the door. He stopped in his tract and said without facing me-" I do still care for you and I always will."

I don't know what that is supposed to mean nor I do want to know. I closed the door as I break down in tears. The rest of the night went by in misery and I don't know when I fell asleep.

AT WITCHDOM KINGDOM

"Patricia? Where were you? Where are Jonathan and the other kids?"- Harney asked in a worried tone. " Why are you not answering? I cannot find Gina either".

She didn't reply as she walks inside quietly. Her behaviour was not normal. She was walking like a possessed person.

She turned to Harney as her eyes glowed in grey. She choked her in a sudden action which made her gasp. Before she could say anything or react they disappeared in thin air.

The next she was standing in front of Queen Kelneir... as her eyes glowed again.
