AFTER A WEEK

AT WWS

SHAWNA'S POV:

I maintained a distance with everyone this week, as I was a little disturbed by what happened earlier. I had a heavy heart seeing someone into his arms. I am confused about my feelings right now. I know I should not feel this agony towards them. It's his life after all and I am just his friend.

My mind was repeating the scene I saw in Jennifer's room while he was embracing her. I closed my eyes in frustration as I sighed heavily. Few drops of tears managed to escape from my eyes as I wiped them off immediately making a straight face.

The next moment, my mind brought me a scene from before, that night, when he came to my room and kissed me. How I was so lost in his touch that I almost forgot who we are. How he stayed beside me each time when I was in danger. How we tested each other, known each other for all these years. How my heart skipped a beat when he held my hand while we walk together. How he hugged me when I came back from the portal being hurt. His care, his smile, his warmth, I missed it. I miss it all.

I wiped off my tears as I stood up from my bed and got ready for my class. I put on my makeup and forced a smile before I walked off from my room. I Reached my class as I sat beside Junnie and Jenny as usual. They welcome me with a smile. I was trying to focus on the class when I looked at my right side, where to my surprise Priam was in the class today.

For a second I was lost in his presence as I kept staring at him. After a few seconds, he looked back at me as I quickly turned my head back trying to focus on the professor's lecture.

PRIAM'S POV:

I came to class today taking especially off from the training from Professor Mecoy. I wanted to see her. I wanted to clarify the things that happened last week. I felt bad when I saw tears in her eyes. I wanted to run after her, taking her in my embrace. But I couldn't, I was angry and disturbed by what I saw that day. But she was misunderstanding us. I was passing by when Jennifer called me and started crying on my shoulder as she said she was missing Cresseda. I felt bad for her as a human so I couldn't deny and let her shred off her pain. But that was when she saw us, misunderstanding the whole situation. I wish I could tell her today and we can sort out everything between us.

I had to make up lots of excuses to take off from Professor Mecoy as he is strict but somehow I managed. I was sitting in the class as I get someone's gaze on me. I looked at that side seeing her staring at me. As soon as our eyes met she turned back in panic as I chuckled. I hope to see her after class.

SHAWNA'S POV:

The class continued as we all were listening to Professor Judo with concentration, as suddenly a student from another class came running as he stopped at the gate panting heavily. All the students looked at him with confused eyes as Professor Judo asks-" What happened?"

He replied-" S-Sir... Den-Denver is dead. His bo-body is lying on the second floor." He stuttered in panic.

We gasped as we hear the news. My eyes went wide in shock as professor Judo and the students rushed towards the second floor to see the incident.

I was still standing there as my legs were unable to move any further. Something clicked in my mind as I walked towards the desk of professor Judo and opened it without further hesitation. And I gasped as I saw the things in front of me. There was another object lying just beside Cresseda's ring which was still there. My eyes went wide as I saw it was a men's tie. Our school uniform. I took it in my hand and went after the second floor.

I pushed the crowd as I went in front. I saw Denver lying on the ground as his body was pale same as it was of Cresseda's like someone had sucked out all the blood from her body. His eyes were opened wide as same as of Cresseda's as they both died out of shock.

My legs crumbled as I saw he was not wearing his tie. I looked at my hand which was still holding the tie I got from professor Judo's desk. Junnie understood there was something wrong as she pulled me from the crowd. I was looking at her with a blank face as she asked-" What happened to you?'

Brad, Jenny, John, and Priam followed us as they looked at me with suspicious eyes. I forward my hands as I showed them the tie I was holding. Brad asked me with a confused face-" Why are you holding a tie?"

I explained to them everything from that day that I saw on professor Judo's desk. Their eyes went wide as they hear me.

Jenny asked me-" are you sure you found it from professor Judo's desk?"

I nodded as I took them back into the classroom showing them the ring which was still there. Junnie took the ring in her hand as she exclaimed with shock-" It-It's Cresseda's ring"

We all looked at each other's faces. as Priam said-" I got to know from father that... Night Riders have been suspected to be in this school who is attacking the students"

John gasped as he asked while frowning-" Night Riders? They were long banished from the WitchLands"

Priam replied as he replied-" that as we thought of. But after examining the dead bodies, they confirmed it was none other than a Night Rider"

I was confused as I asked-" Who are Night Riders?"

Jenny replied-" They were bloodsuckers. They use to stay at the borders of WitchLands as they had a treaty with our Kings that they would feed only on animals without harming anyone. But as far as I know during the war between us and Lady Georgia, Their leader, Venom, the cruelest creature on earth, and his men had broken the treaty. They have taken the sides of Lady Georgia and attacked us. But they were defeated by the great alpha Gregory who lost his life during the war"

I gasped and asked-" Bloodsuckers?"

They nodded as they explained everything. I said-" Do you guys perhaps think that professor Judo was involved in this case?"

Priam replied as he paused before speaking-" well, we must not get into any conclusion before inspecting ...."

Before he could speak any further, we heard some noise as we went in that direction and saw Granny, Uncle Ben, and a beautiful lady walking towards the dead body with such grace. Who is she? I have never seen her before. Why are they all here? Did they find anything about the death happening here?

Professor Dunston and Hyle came along with a few more professors as the lady sniffed the dead body while she said-" It's a Night Rider... He has been killed by a Night Rider."

She turned back toward granny. She said-" I need to see all the students, professors, and everyone who are staying here"

Professor Hyle nodded as she called every one of us into the Hall room. We were standing in the line as granny came in along with Professor Dunston, uncle Ben, and the lady.

Suddenly she howled loudly as she turned into a big beautiful wife wolf. Her eyes were shining green as she growled a little walking towards us.

Granny said as she saw students were sacred-" Do not worry she is Luna Megan. she is here to help"

Students calmed down as they heard granny. Luna began to sniff everyone's presence in the room. She turned back to her human form as she asked-" Is that all? Is anyone missing here?"

We all looked at each other while Professor Hyle said-" No..."

Suddenly I remember Felix is not here and so is professor Judo as I cut her off by saying-" Yes, Professor Judo and Felix is not here professor"

She looked at us as she asked someone to call them. Felix and professor Judo entered the room as luna sniffed professor Judo and Felix as she frowned. She asked looking at Felix-" What is your identity? "

He looked nervous as all the student's attention went toward him. He was unable to speak as he was feeling a little uncomfortable. Luna asked in a strict tone-" I asked you something,.. young boy? why do you smell of someone else?"

I spoke as I saw him getting uncomfortable-" He- He is a Half blooded wizard slave"

I explained to them about his identity assuring her that he is innocent. Luna looked at him with her suspect full eyes as I said-" There's someone we must suspect other than an innocent boy"

Granny asked-" What are you talking about Shawna? Who?"

I told them about professor Judo as he looked at me in shock. I asked-" Can you explain why do you have their belongings on your desk?"

He hung his head low as granny asked him-" Professor Judo? is this right?"

He nodded as he looked up. I saw tears in his eyes as he said-" Yes, I have their belongings but I did not kill them. A few days ago I saw a shadow flew over our school as I followed the shadow. It stopped near the gate of the school and it dropped something before he went out. I picked up and saw a ring. The next day I heard the news of Cresseda's death and noticed it was hers. I understood it was a Night Rider who is present at the school. so I planned to follow and catch the person. Yesterday I found the shadow again and this time I was almost able to catch the person but it escaped as the tie fall from the shadow. I kept it with me for examination"

We gasped hearing this as Professor Dunston asked-" you should have informed us"

He said while tears rolled from his eyes-" I want to catch the person myself and kill her/him. I lost my family in the war due to one of these creatures, Venom... and I..."

He broke down while crying. I felt bad for him. Professor Hyle consoled him as Luna said-" Well, Venom is long dead!!! Alpha died while killing him. But as I can see, the creature is not present here but tend to attack at night. We will guard the school for now and will see what we can do further."

They left towards Professor Dunston's chamber as the crowd dispersed.

I looked back towards my friends as I saw them. I walked towards them as I said-" Guys I have some..."

Priam cut me off saying-" I am leaving for my training"

John stopped him by saying-" But, didn't you take off for today?"

He looked at me while I felt his anger in his gaze as he said-" No, I don't need it now"

He left from there, as I kept staring at him. John asked Jenny-" Mom asked you to be there today. We need to discuss the wedding venue"

She nodded as I hugged Jenny and me before she left with John. Brad then said-" Well, I have to meet Professor Mecoy today for some work, Junnie, I will see you in the evening?"

She shyly nodded as he kissed her cheeks before leaving making her blush hard. I smiled looking at her as I teased her-" Ahh, look at our beautiful Junnie, she is being shy huh?"

We giggled as my eyes falls on Felix who was still standing at the corner hanging his head low. I looked at Junnie and told her how he helped me and what he asked me a week ago. I told her-" I need your help Junnie, Will you come with me?"

Junnie thought something before she nodded and said-" Okay, I will help you. You know that I will help you in any means, Shawna"

I hugged her as she hugged me back. We went towards Felix and I kept my hands on his shoulder as he flinched a little before turning towards us. I looked at his eyes, which were glowing green as same as I saw a few days ago. I shrugged it off as I asked-" Did you find out about the book of Elis?"

He nodded as he blinked a few times after which his eyes went normal. He said-" It is not that easy princess. The book of Elis is not that simple to get. It's the most secret and holy book in WitchLand and was protected in a tomb"

I frowned as I asked-" Tomb?"

Junnie said while replying to me-" Yes Shawna, I have heard about the book of Elis from my parents, it's the most sacred book in the whole WitchLands. It is the protector of the WitchLands so far, which was kept safe by the three trinity KIngs of the WitchLands, hidden in a tomb at the gate of mother Lily, who is the protector of this land. She had sacrificed her life to protect our lands as she had become the barrier between us and humans"

Junnie told me the story of Lily who saved the people like us giving us a new world to survive. I nodded as I listened to them carefully. I asked-" How shall we get it?"

Felix said-" I will tell you tomorrow about how we should get it. You guys should wait for me at the school gate by evening after school okay?"

We nodded as he left from there.

BACK IN QUINN'S PROVISION

AT THE KING'S COURT

Amira came inside while she bowed down before someone as she said-" Master, he is here"

??1-" Call him now"

She nodded as she left and came back with someone as the person stood before her bowing down showing his respect. ??1 said-" My son, how have you been?"

??2 said in his deep voice-" I have been a good mother. How have you been?"

??1 smiled and replied-" I will be happy if I hear the news I have been waiting to hear."

??2-" I will not disappoint you mother. everything is going smoothly so far. Nobody is suspecting me for the murders yet, and also our plan is going smooth as we thought of"

??1- turned around as some smiled at him but soon her face turned serious as her eyes became red as she clenched on his throat making him choke almost saying-" You better not disappoint me son, else you know what I do when I get disappointed"

He was struggling under her claws as after some time she left her as she turned towards Amira asking-" Summon Georgia"

Amira nodded as she cast the spell-" Apparent Georgia"

Within no time Lady Georgia arrived as she scanned the room and she glare back at ?? 1.

??1 said-" Welcome back. "

Lady Georgia smiled and replied-" Hello friend"

??1 said while laughing as her laugh echoed in the whole room making everyone shiver-" You sure are my daughter Georgia"

Lady Georgia's eyes went wide into shock as she gasped saying-" Da-daughter?"

??1 nodded as Georgia chuckled saying-" I do not have any mother. I was not born from any human or creature, I was formed out of wrath"

??1 smiled as she said-" that is what you are my dear. You are here to fulfill my dream, and soon we will have it all"

She laughed as everyone looked at her. She looked at her side as she saw ?? 2.

??1 said-" Say hello to your brother!!!"
