Lost lives.

I was still standing there with shock in my eyes. I didn't want to believe anything that my negative mind tells me.

"They are alive"

"They are alive"

"He is okay... they are okay"

I repeat to myself.

I closed my eyes, allowing my tears to fell on my cheeks as I inhaled a big chunk of air. I didn't know what to do... I didn't know where they are or are they okay... This place was surrounded by Sirens... the ones who don't know the truth yet... And they can kill them.

the thought of their dead bodies made me sob harder. I don't know what I am feeling right now. Everything started feeling numb. was he okay? Junnie, Brad... John... King Alan... Priam... The last name sounded like a whisper in my head.

I clutched my heart and I cried in silence. I wish for their safety. How weak I feel right now... I don't deserve to be the queen anymore... I am falling all of them... How could I?

Ruby came down from her cabin as the whispered now started sound of the murmurs. She might have heard. She stood before me and looked at the dead bodies. the expression was blank. She was used to seeing the dead bodies, but the pain in my heart was not listening to anything.

Ruby asked-" Are they your accompanies?"

I nodded as I replied-" They are our soldier brothers... "

She looked at the dead bodies once again and asked-" Are there others?"

I sobbed harder as I said-" M-My hus-husband... and my friends..."

Ruby looked at me worriedly and said-" then we must hurry... before the sirens attacked them."

I nodded as she ordered-" On march... we are leaving... get on the deck, everyone..."

The dwarfs were alert as I saw her getting on the wheel. She looked and me and assured me-" We will get them"

The ship sails on the blue ocean as it tear down the air and we moved further. My heart silently prays for the safety of my dear ones.

We sailed in the sea for half an hour as my eyes searched for the people I wanted to see.

The first male dwarf said-" They are not seen anywhere..."

Ruby replied with a stern voice while keeping her eyes on the ocean-" We must search till we find them"

The dwarfs nodded and began to look as far as their eyes could reach. I tried to search if there is any magic left in me, but it was the same... nothing... I need to find them at any cost.

IN THE AYA'S DEN

FELIX POV:

I was going crazy day by day now. The only drug I was addicted to, was gone. And it was hard for me to breathe without her. Shawna... my drug.

I couldn't understand how the blood bond was separated without the rituals??? It was nearly impossible. Nobody could ever do it. was it because the child was inside of her? His child.....

My blood boiled in anger as the image of that day flashed my mind when he touched her for the first time. He fooled her.... !!! he never loved her... If he did he would have never been seduced by Amira. This was all acting before her. she was too naive to understand.

All these years I felt like a dead man, but something about her, made me feel alive. The bond gave me access to her mind... I could read her feelings... I could feel everything she felt. The pain... The happiness... The pride... The grief... Everything...

That is what made me feel alive once again. I loved watching her. I loved saving her every time... I loved the way she is... I wanted to protect her from this cruel world and give her everything she deserves.

Something in Shawna reminded me of her... My first love. The innocent love I had.

But that time I was weak... I was just a boy who couldn't save his love... I won't let that happen this time. whatever it takes, I will protect her. I don't care if she hates me or love me... the only thing matters to me is her safety. And I will make sure she is safe.

these few days have been crazy for me, not knowing how she is or where she is... I couldn't know if she is in danger.. and that makes me crazy.

Aya was right... they need to die... the people around her is not good for her. they were the reason she keeps falling in danger. Mother Aya promised me, that I will be free from her debt after this war... We could go somewhere far maybe and have a happy life.

I smiled at the thought of having a family with her. She around me feel like the earth I always crave for. this cold life is giving me shivers now. I have been frozen... forever.. and she is just the bright sun, who seems to have the light and warmth that could actually melt this ice inside of me.

She is the one who could make it possible.

I took a deep breath as I came and stood before Mother Aya. She gave me an evil smile and asked-" So my son finally get the time to meet his mother?"

I chose to stay silent as I heard Amira ask in her seductive voice-" Felix... it was good to see you again"

I replied in a cold tone-" I wish I could say the same"

I love the look of disappointment on her face. She had somehow made Shawna cry. I could not forgive her for that. But now is not the time for this. I said-" I will go get the kids... Mother"

Mother Ayanodded with her chin high. She said-" make sure to fill the one we lost. We need 50 souls of innocent kids to complete this sacrifice."

"I will mother"- I replied with a blank face. She nodded and I left.

No matter if I like the work I do or not, I have to obey. I am under her debt. She took me in, feed me and gave me the power that I have now. She is the one who helped me to take revenge and foolish me had offered my life to her.

But this is all temporary... I know this would hurt her...But she will soon forget... When we will live till eternity.. nothing of this will ever matter to her then. She will understand that all I did is to protect her. I am sure that one day she will understand the unconditional love that I have in my frozen heart.

I used my powers as I teleport myself to the chamber where the kids were kept in the WitchDom palace. They were sleeping peacefully. The room was big enough to hold the kid together. The guards were standing outside, that is why they couldn't see me. To be sure I used invisible magic on me-"invisibilis"

Soon I heard footsteps outside the door as I halt in my current position. I know that Harney couldn't defeat me, but I couldn't afford any mistakes now.

I waited for the one who could enter the room. With each second my patience was getting harder to control. Finally, the door opened with a loud bang as a small child walks in. Who was he? Looked like my work is done easy now. I got my last child to take there.

Without wasting any time, I cast the spell-" Ianuae ad Den" Along with every kid present over there, we teleported back to the Aya's Den.

The kid was no other than Jonathan. But he was not alone in there, Particia who just came inside when Felix turned around to teleport. She teleports there along with them. She was scared to see her child abducted by powerful evils. But she chose to stay silent and observe and attack at the right time.

What could have she done? She was unarmed. the only strength she had in her heart was the strength of a mother's love. As soon as they reached the dark castle, Felix cast a spell on the kids which made them sleep " quiete dormers donec evigilaveris"

Patricia hid behind a stone avoiding eyes and listening to their conversation.

Felix said to Aya-" Mother... I have brought the kids. My job is done."

Aya smiled a devilish smile and replied-" Not until we make the sacrifice my son. You must visit Harnem today. they are our allies, and we are soon going on the war.

Felix didn't argue as he left the place, leaving behind Amira and Aya along with the kids. Patricia was sacred to see the evil in front of her eyes who was looking at her childlike prey.

PATRICIA'S POV:

Sacrifice? What sacrifice? No... Jonathan... I have to save him.

Is this what my parents felt when they sacrificed to save me? All this long I was angry at them for leaving me behind... But the truth was they actually sacrificed their lives to save me. The same thing I am going to do now. I hope Jonathan Understand the love I have for him.

But what could I do? Something... Something quick...

While Patricia was thinking of an escape, Amira walked behind the rick that she was hiding. She used her magic to know someone had entered without permission. She looked at Aya and smiled. She knew it was Patricia... The Slave daughter that Aya was searching for.

She used her magic to as she cast-"sursum"

The rock that she was hiding behind flew away leaving her stunned before them. Patricia gripped her wand as she kept it forwards as the shield. She was shocked and scared at the same time.

Amira smirked and attacked her... As Patricia dodged the first two but got hurt in the last one.

"Ignis"- Amira cast.

Patricia held her left arm that was hurt and looked at her defeated. She didn't know what to do. Aya finally spoke-" Enough....."

Amira bowed before her respectfully and moved away. Patricia was still standing on her face with a scared expression. Aya slowly came down from her throne and said-" It was finally nice to meet you, Slave child..."

She frowned and walked back but Aya was faster enough to grip her wrist. She began to chant-"sanguis mihi Semel Vindictus, ego te exire jubeo. Orietur in te lumen inferni ad te Nunc adorabis coram me" (the blood once was sold to me, I command to come forth thee. The light of hell would rise in your as you will now bow down before me).

Something inside of her began to burn as her eyes began to roll back and the venom took over her.

BACK TO THE SEAH BEACH.

SHAWNA'S POV:

The ship stopped in front of a shore when finally I saw Junnie and John who were discussing something. King Alan and Brad were sitting somewhere in the sand as the soldiers were tying up their wounds.

Are they hurt? They must be...

But where is Priam? My eyes desperately searched for him. As soon as we get down from the ship, Junnie was the first one who noticed me. She ran towards me as she hugged me tightly in her arms.

I was too occupied in my thoughts to respond to her at this time. My eyes were still searching for him. I asked-" w-where is Priam?"

She broke the hug as he looked at me with her sorry eyes. No No No... I don't want to hear it... I wish I am wrong right now... This is a dream that I will wake up from.

Junnie replied slowly-" H-He is hurt!!!"

It was true. My eyes began to burn as the tears formed in the response of it. She pointed to the way they have kept him. I ran towards her and saw his body was lying n the sand as if it is lifeless. I couldn't think anything as I began to cry. I sat beside him and asked-" P-Priam...?"

He was sleeping peacefully in the arms of nature. I found blood in the corner of his lips...

I looked back at Junnie and others and asked-" what happened to him?"

King Alan said-" We- We don't know"

John said-" When you went missing, Priam had found the wall that was hidden with spell to this land. We broke the wall... but were landed in the water. And then we faced the Sirens... A few of your soldiers died and we almost get covered by them... But King Alan used his demigod powers to save us. Our magic isn't working here."

Ruby replied-" yes, that is because this is the healer land.... the only magic that use to work is of the Termarids...(the dwarfs). But it was long lost and this is the last portion of magic we used to keep us safe from the world out there."

Brad said-" Priam was attacked by Sirens and since then...."

I looked at Ruby and asked-" You have to help me... Now!!!"

Ruby nodded as she went back to the shore and called someone by a customised whistle. Soon the water started moving as the creatures began to come up. Ruby spoke with them in their language which I couldn't understand much.

The sirens... I saw them for the first time. The slimy creature with sharp teeth and pale skin. They looked like mini monsters.

But they agreed to Ruby and they looked at us. Ruby said-" Bring Priam here"

I was not sure If I should do that but I didn't have much choice. I need to trust them. And I was trusting them with my life.

The sirens looked at Priam body as they said something in their language. Ruby asked us to move aside. They started doing something to him. One of them was keeping her hands in Priam's head other one kept his hands on his stomach. They began to suck his energy.

I looked at Ruby with a terrified look but she assured me by nodding her head that it is okay.

Priam's body started reacting to the ritual as he started shivering in pain. I couldn't stand more and said-" Stop!!! You are killing him."

One of the sirens looked at me with a hiss as she said something in their language. Ruby translated-" You need to trust them, Queen Shawna"

"How can I? Look at him... He is in pain"- I replied

"It is temporary"- She assured.

I don't know what to do now, just to stand there. After a few minutes, they stopped. They moved away from him. His body was still the same. tears rolled out from my eyes. Did I trust the wrong people?

And then, something happened, he inhale a big chunk of air as he started coughing. He is alive!!!!

The smile didn't leave my lips and I went straight to him and hug time tightly-" Thank god you are okay"- I said while crying in his arms. Without wasting any time I kissed him. He didn't respond at first but slowly captured my lips and kissed me back.

" Shawna... I- I was worried about you"- He said while hugging me back.

Nothing seems to matter to me now as long as I am in his arms. He is my world.

We finally broke the hug after some time as he looked at the rest of them with confused eyes. I said-" we have a lot to catch up"
