CHAPTER 7: FAMILIAR

After 1 year

Today is our flight, with my baby Jesper, to Korea. I continued giving birth to Jesper here in China. Tao and Kris Hyung has been very kind to me.

They are our college friends but they now live here in China. They got married here and also Tao's pregnant that's why it's my time to come back to Korea because my best friends said that they really miss me and I missed them too.

"So you're leaving now Baek," Tao said while caressing his tummy.

"You know, I need to come back to Korea because of my restaurant. It's a good thing that I requested Kyungsoo to look at my restaurant." I said. It feels good to be with them for a while and also they are kind to me especially Tao, he's took care of me when I gave birth to Jesper.

"Today's your flight right?" Kris Hyung asked and I nodded. "Are you good?" He added that made me froze at my spot but I managed to smile at him.

"Yes, Kris Hyung. By the way, where's Jesper?"

Meet my son, Byun Jesper. Even though he's Chanyeol's son, I didn't use his surname to be my son's surname, because he doesn't have any right to even though he's Jesper's father. Also, even though Jesper's just about to turn 3, he can now walk.

Jesper is a cheerful and sweet child. He really looks like me but his manners are like HIM.

Jesper's sweet just like Chanyeol. Jesper always makes me laugh just like HIM. Jesper's always smiling just like HIM.

"Eomma!" Jesper called while pouting and pulling the hem of my shirt. I just smiled at him and carry him.

"What?" I said to him.

"Eomma, I want to go to the mall. I want to buy a gift for Kyungsoo." He said cheerfully and hugged my neck.

"Ohhh.....Jesper's so cute." Tao said while laughing. Jesper bowed at him and smiled.

"You want to go to the mall?" I asked Jesper and he nodded.

"Yes, Eomma. I want to buy a gift for Kyungsoo...and also for Luhan." Jesper knows them because we are always video calling. Actually, Kyungsoo is his favorite because he said that Kyungsoo looks like Pororo, his favorite cartoon character.

"Aigooo....Baek, take him to the mall. He's right, you should buy gifts." Kris hyung said.

"Eomma, let's go," Jesper said while kissing my cheeks.

"Okay... Let's go to the mall." I happily said to him and he said 'yehey'.

Kris hyung lend me his car. He surely is kind.

"Okay Jesper, let me do put on your seatbelt," I said to him and put the seatbelt on for him.

"Why do we need to wear this eomma?" Jesper asked.

"We need to Jesper because when we suddenly stop, it will make us safe. Let me kiss you, baby!" I kissed him and he laughed.

"Eomma. It's tickling me. Stop, please! Let's go now." He said and I just nodded at him.

When we arrived at the mall, we immediately entered because we only have 4 hours left for our flight to Korea. Well, for sure, my best friends will be glad that I came back. I didn't tell them because I want to surprise them.

"Where do you want to go, baby?" I asked him while holding his hand. He wants to walk because he said that he's already big now.

"Playland." He said cheerfully and I just nodded.

Jesper played for a few minutes and he stopped. "Let's go eomma. It's boring." He said while pouting and I just smiled at him.

"Let's eat baby, then we'll buy the gifts," I said and he just nodded.

"Eomma, I want to buy this for Kyungsoo." Jesper cheerfully said while holding at a penguin plushy. I just smiled at him.

"Put it in here baby." I run towards me and put the plushy at the cart. He runs to the other side of the store to look for gifts. I told him to not be too far away because if he gets too far away, a bad guy will get him.

I picked some shirts and pants for Jesper and some shirts for me.

"It will look good on me," I said to myself and reaching for the shirt but someone reached the shirt first.

"Are you going to buy these? Here." He said while smiling. OMG, he's handsome.

"T-Thank you." I shyly said to him and he reached his hand out.

"I'm Heechul. I know you're Korean. I'm also Korean." He happily said and I accepted his handshake.

"I'm Baekhyun, nice to meet you," I replied.

"So, what are you doing here in China? Vacation? Are you with someone?" He asked and I nodded at him.

"Yes, I'm having a vacation here. And we will return to Korea later. I'm here with my son, Jesper...Wait—JESPER?!" I panicked when I don't see Jesper anymore.

"JESPER?! JESPER?!" I looked for him on the verge of crying. Heechul helped me to look for him. I suddenly heard Jesper's voice at the store for stuffed toys, in the Rilakkuma section.

I saw Jesper talking to someone with his face covered and his tall. He's wearing a black cap and a black hoodie.

"GOD JESPER! WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?! I TOLD YOU TO STAND BY ME. I TOLD YOU TO DON'T GO FAR AWAY FROM ME!" I said and carried Jesper.

"Eomma, I'm sorry. I forgot where you are. I was crying a while ago, but this Rilakkuma guy calmed me down." Jesper explained and I slowly looked at the guy.

"Hmmm...Mister? Thank you." I said to the guy and he just nodded. Heechul suddenly came.

"Oh Baek, you already found him," Heechul said while panting. We are really tired because we run to look for Jesper and because of that, I panicked and ran like a horse.

"Thank you. I really don't know what I will do if Jesper suddenly disappeared from my life, Thank you. We'll go now." I thanked the guy and bid my goodbye. Before we left, I looked at the guy again. I saw his eyes and suddenly looked away.

His eyes are somehow....
