In a large cave illuminated by purple light, an old and fragile man with hair and body withering by the second stood opposite a young boy floating on the ground.
An ethereal energy with green hues flowed from the old man to the boy, who, upon instruction, attempted to focus and redirect the energy into his chest region.
'Something is starting to flow into me.'
"AHHHHHHHHHHH Noooooo! AHHHHHHHHHHHHH"
Orion clutched his hands, nails piercing through as his entire body crumbled.
'It feels like every cell of my body is burning, every tissue churning, God.'
"Hold on, boy. Now, the only thing you should do is question yourself, *Who are you?*" the old man urged.
"Orion Nightshade."
"No, that's not who you are. That is just a name with which you are identified. I want you to find within yourself, Who the F*ck are you? My Aura is Obsidian, for I am indestructible."
'What am I? Who am I?'
'Orion, no, I am Rain. No, I am neither. I hate both of them; both lacked the strength to protect their loved ones. I am someone who stands above everyone, the one who shall be feared upon with reverence.'
"I am God."
Nathan was surprised. "What did you say, boy?" he questioned with a loud tone.
Orion, with an unwavering voice, roared throughout the cave. "I am God.... God of Death."
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
Wave after wave of aura, waves with the will of Death, the God of Death's aura spread throughout. The ground cracked around Orion, forming a crater.
Badump Badump, Nathan's heart started beating as he saw the scene in front of him.
Continuous waves of death loomed throughout the cave with Orion at the epicenter, his eyes closed, akin to a Death God. All the plants and animals started withering around him. Even Nathan started aging faster, and as he was at his last breath, Orion's Aura stopped, and he descended in front of the old man.
"Sorry, old man, for reviving you and causing so much trouble for you."
"Orion, *cough**cough* my child, throughout my life, I've seen many people, good and bad, but you, my child, are the loneliest and saddest of them all. Remember, my child, from this moment forward, you are my grandson, Nathan Nightshades Grandson."
Orion, usually indifferent, felt his heart crumble. 'Why? Why do I always fall for this?'
"Old man, don't lie every *sob* *sob*; every one of them who said that have left me all alone by myself. It's as if I'm cursed to live a lonely and sad life. Why, why can't I save anyone? *sob**sob*? Sometimes I just want to destroy everything." Orion had a crazed look on his face, and the aura started to surface again.
"Orion, don't let the hatred take the best out of you. Just smile and take a peek at beautiful women; your whole world will change. And don't worry; here, take this. I have written 99 Rules to impress women in this forbidden book of mine. And don't forget to have a smile, even if you get caught and thrown out with a bleeding nose. HAHAHAHAHH
Nathan hugged sobbing Orion tightly and turned into ashes.
"You too turned your back and ran away, old man. *sob* *sob*"
'Orion was completely broken from the moments of his death as Rain till the death of Orion's mom. Several cracks had appeared, but his unwavering will had kept him sane up to this point. Now he was completely broken.'
'What is the purpose of life? Why should I even live?' Such questions were hammering Orion's head as he fell unconscious on the floor.
In Orion's subconscious mind,
"Hey, why do you always have that 'I mean business' face every time? Have a smile on your face," someone whispered in Orion's ears.
"Oh! So you are able to hear me. Now that's an interesting development, isn't it, Rain?"
