"I gave her three days to think," Luca said. 

"What makes her hesitate? Was she not the one offering it before?" Isaac grumbled from his place on the sofa. 

"Who knows…" 

Oh, he totally knew why.

Luo Yi choked. "Wha… What?" She blinked rapidly. 

"Listen here, you brat," Her eyebrows twitched. She truly was expecting something cool or mind blowing, but not this. "Caleb wasted years to collect and sort these out and you are just going to destroy it?" 

"It is for the better," Luca replied easily. "These formulas are what the Vampire King seeks to preserve the perpetuity of Vampire races, which is something we tried to obstruct." 

"But Caleb--" 

"I do not exactly know what that idiot tried to do by protecting such things." 

Luo Yi furrowed her brows. This was not right. She clenched her hands on the scrolls. 

"Caleb said you will know what to do with it…"
