Ji Yang snorted lightly. "I'm sick of this excuse. Use another one the next time."
Mu Siyin nodded her head dramatically. "Alright!"
Ji Yang was speechless.
Mu Siyin took a seat opposite her friend. As she placed down her bag, she looked up at Ji Yang. "How was work today?"
Ji Yang sighed softly. "How well can it go? It's still the same!"
Ji Yang could only hope for her leader to show mercy and transfer her back to her original post. She was really sick of cracking down on prostitution.
"Okay. I guess it's better this way too," Mu Siyin said instinctively.
Annoyed, Ji Yang looked at her. "Hey, Yinyin! Can you stop joking around?"
Mu Siyin smiled sheepishly. "Don't get mad. I honestly think it's a great job. At least it won't put you in any danger."
Ji Yang rolled her eyes at Mu Siyin. "I'm a criminal investigation police. Do you think I'm afraid of danger?"
Mu Siyin whispered, "Can't I fear for your safety?"
