Once upon a time, there lived a terrible and lonely monster. This monster was no ordinary creature, this monster was trapped inside of a man, and had been there as long as it could remember.
One day the monster spoke to the man, and tried to make a deal with him.
"Can you hear me, man?" The monster asked, "It's the monster."
"I can hear you, monster." The man replied, "But I can not see you."
"That is because I am inside of you."
"Inside of my heart?" The man asked.
"Maybe," Said the monster, "what is a heart?"
"You have no heart?" The man wondered, "How do you live? Are you stealing my heart away from me?"
"I'm not sure monsters need hearts."
"Everything needs a heart, monster." Said the man, "Even the cruel Prince had a heart of his own."
