641 A Mystery of Ten Years

Ten years ago, a mission appeared on the Hall of Missions' screen.

The general request was: how does one increase a ninth realm treasure's defensive abilities enough to stop the strike of a foundational cultivator?

In other words, how do you make a ninth realm treasure have the defense power of an eighth realm treasure?

Within the crafts' world, the rules with realms were far stricter with cultivations. Ninth realm goods would always be ninth realm goods. No matter how rare or well made, it could not be compared to those of the eighth realm and could not compete in power with those of the eighth realm.

Of course, there are exceptions to everything. Logically speaking, a treasure of the ninth realm may be equal in power of something of the eighth realm.

But as for how to make this theory practical – nobody knows.

According to legends, there have been treasures who ignore the science of realms and emit powers that surpass its capabilities.
