Belle’s Point of View

It was only 5:30 am when I decided to go for a run, I wear a purple sports bra & biker shorts. While running I remember what the doctor said when we went to the ER because the blood won't stop, she said it was because of the dry air or low-humidity climates, heated indoor air, nothing serious at all.

Charles on the other hand seems busy these days, he cleaned the garden and the pool. I saw a coffee shop at the end of the town, interesting, when I came back I saw how worried Dad was. He quickly walks toward me and hugged me. Dad changes when they rushed me to the Hospital.

"Where have you been?" He asks

"Jogging" I simply answered and went inside

"Belle, you just had a nose bleed last week. You should rest" He said and follow me to the kitchen

I opened the fridge take the bottled water and drink it. I noticed purple spots on my arms I looked at them. Charles approached me so I lost attention to my arms, he smiled at me and ask

"I heard Bulalo is your favorite food, do you want it to be spicy or not?" He asks

"Not spicy please," I said and went upstairs

My body wants cold water, it was 7 am already. I went to the bathroom and open the shower in cold water, the water feels good. When I finished taking a bath I stare at my body in the mirror and I saw a lot of bruises

"Where did these come from?" I ask myself

"Belle" I heard Izrael's voice

"Yes?" I shout

"We're going out do you want to go too?" he asks

"No, I'm tired. Next time, bro" I answered

The nose bleed, purple spots, bruises, and the pain in my joints, there is something wrong. I wear my jacket and pj's I need to hide the bruises and purple spots. I went down then went straight to the living room then sat down and called Leah but she didn't answer

I pouted and think about the bruises. I'm sure I didn't fall or there someone hit me, my back is hurting. I sighed and stood and went to the kitchen there I saw Charles cooking. He is outstandingly handsome and robust, very masculine.

I stare at his back and talked

"Are you working out? You have a very masculine body" I uttered he looks at me

His face is shocked by what I've said and he can't answer my question. He stares at my outfit and he smiled at me again.

"No, I don't do workouts. I paint" When I heard the word Paint my eyes grow bigger and smile

"Can you teach me how?" I ask

"Teach what?" I'm surprised to see that Leah is behind me

"oh my gosh, Leah" We hugged each other and I endure all the pain in my back

"I'm just here to visit you. I missed you, Belle" God knows how much I missed her

We both stopped going to school because she can't afford to go to school anymore. Dad and I said we were going to pay her tuition but she said no so we both stopped.

We went to my room and we sit on my bed. I undress my jacket and pj's she gasped and touch it

"What is this?" She asks

"I don't know, this morning when I took a bath I saw a lot of bruises. But no one hit me or I didn't fall, Leah. I think there's something wrong" I said, I put on my clothes and stare at her

"Let's go to the hospital, I'll go with you" I agree with what she said and we went to the doctor

"Last week I had a nose bleed which I expect it's normal. I noticed these purple spots on my skin and now I have plenty of bruises and I don't know where I got it" I explain to the doctor

"Let's get you some blood tests, and bone marrow test," The doctor said

Someone took a blood sample and bone marrow test. We're waiting outside for the result and when the result is up we go back to the doctor and give him the result

"Your White blood cells are pretty high and your red blood cells are going down, and your platelets are not normal. Do you have a history of cancer, Miss?" I think my world just stops when he mentions cancer. Time stops again

Charles's Point of view

"She went out with his cousin, Leah, Sir," I said to Sir Bryson (Belle's Dad)

"She didn't call me" He looks frustrated

"Sir, do you hit Belle?" I ask

"No, I would never do that to my daughter. Why did you ask?" He answered quickly

"I saw her back earlier there's a bruise," I said and put a pinch of salt on the Bulalo

"What?" He looks surprised

Is he even asking his daughter if she's okay? Aunt Amelia said to me that she treats Belle as her own because Belle's biological mother died after giving birth to Belle

I noticed the girl is Kinda shy but badass because she looks like one. When it comes to her stepbrother she always smiles but if her Dad or her Stepmother is the one who's in front she's just staring at them angrily. why does she look so angry

"Call me if she's home," Sir Bryson said and I just nod a smile

I turned off the fire and taste the flavor if it was okay. I'm cooking Bulalo because Aunt Amelia said it was her favorite food. I was about to go back to cutting some dead plants when I saw Belle crying and Leah on the other hand comforting Belle

I walked toward them and ask what was wrong. I noticed quickly her pale skin color it's not normal as her usual skin color and the purple spots on her skin. I helped her sit on the couch and I call Sir Bryson

They ordered me to go outside because they will talk about something. I know there is something wrong but because I respect them I just go back to cutting dead plants. I hope she gets well soon
