"Can you believe the nerve of him, Mari? Sending me a picture of him and the girl he is currently dating and telling me that he was just participating in a trend that attacks single people. How insensitive!" I vented to Mariam.
I had stormed to her house after giving my warning to Tobi because I needed to talk to someone.
I needed to get the anger out of my chest. I wasn't seeking therapy or advice on what to do from Mariam.
I had already gotten that covered by warning him to never try something like that again in his life.
However, knowing Mariam, she would inevitably chip in her two cents whether I wanted to hear it or not.
Thankfully, her parents had gone to work and her siblings were at school so I had the freedom to pace about, hit a wall, and talk as much as I needed to.
She nodded her head attentively as I raged on and on, till I stopped finally to catch my breath and listen to what she had to say.
