Chapter 011: Past Events (5)

"Mommy and Daddy, don't leave me, Mommy and Daddy!" She cried and woke up with a start.

"Sophia, what's wrong with you?" Her cries startled him and jumped from the next crib to her bed.

"Ryan, I dreamt my mom and dad didn't want me again? Oooh what should I do? I miss them so much, I really do!!!" She threw her arms around his neck and cried out, her tears penetrating his clothes, soaking through his skin and pushing straight to his heart.

He didn't say a word, just held her sitting on his lap, tightly in his arms.

"Ryan, I don't have a mom and dad anymore, I just have you."

He gently patted her back and whispered in her ear, "Sophia, don't cry. sophia, don't cry anymore. sophia, if you cry again, I don't know what to do!"

"Sophia, you" He found her under the banyan tree crying like a tearful person and tried to speak but had nothing to say.

"Ryan, you're a big liar, you clearly said that you would stay with Sophia forever, and now you're going home with your grandfather and you don't want Sophia anymore! Sophia hates you, really hates you, and will never care about you for the rest of her life!"

"Sophia, I'm sorry. But I'll come back for you, I swear!"

"You're a liar, and I'm never going to listen to you again!" She huffed and choked.

"I'm not lying to you, it's true. ryan, sophia, will not be separated!"

"Get out of here, I don't want to see you!"

"Get out!!!"

"Okay, if you don't roll, I'll roll!" With that, she cried and got up to throw away.

"Sophia, don't you roll, I'll roll!" He pulled her back, exhaled deeply, and finally took a big step away.

She looked at his departing back, lying on the large banyan tree and crying loudly, he listened, his feet turned involuntarily and retraced his steps, standing behind her and watching her thin body tremble badly because of crying.

"Ryan, Ryan, don't go, don't!!!" She cried and ran after the black car limo, clutching the bear in her arms for dear life.

"Ryan, don't leave me, Ryan, don't you go. I'm not mad at you anymore, Ryan!!!"

"Ryan, don't leave me!!!"

She desperately chased, with all her might, but could only watch the car getting farther and farther away.

In a panic, she took a shortcut and ran down the small slope, looking to catch up, but was hit by an oncoming vehicle.

"Ryan, don't leave me!" Blood gushed down her mouth while she shouted his name over and over again, while the crimson blood stained the snow-white bear in her arms.

The little bear, with a white body but a slightly twisted head. That sunny afternoon, her mom and dad stuffed the little white bear into her arms, and she stood in the street gleefully kissing and hugging the bear, not realizing that her parents were no longer around.

She cried and searched the streets for a day and a night, but could no longer find her mother and father, let alone a way home.

She later entered the orphanage crying as she held the bear and took scissors to cut the bear's neck that night. When Ryan showed up and found the tattered bear she had left under her bed, he stitched the bear's head back on, crying her heart out as she held the somewhat lopsided bear.
