King of Cooking

YeonA's POV

A sweet lullaby wakes me up from my sweet slumber. "Morning," my brother chants joyfully as he skips into my room, shoving me a plate full of chocolate chip cookies in my face. The sweet and delicious aroma awakens my whole body as I sit up and grab a cookie from the plate.

"You made these?" I ask him, taking a big bite from them. He shakes his head and sits on the corner of my bed. "Kyungsoo made them earlier today," he says and grabs a cookie from the autumn themed plate.

"Kyungsoo?" I tilt my head in confusion, glancing at my oldest brother. "Oh that's right! You don't know any of my friends. Well he's an extremely good looking man who can cook almost anything."

"Woah! Can I meet him?" I ask him. Anything relating to food I'm in. No doubts or hesitation you'll see me in less than a second if I smell anything sweet and delicious with an amazing aroma.

"Yes but not looking like that," he points at my unicorn theme pajamas. "You have a point there," I say and place the plate on my bedside table.

"Baekyun!" I hear an unfamiliar but angelic deep voice coming from downstairs. "Is that him?" I ask, earning a nod by Baekyun. "Well I gotta go but see you down?" I nod my head. He smiles and chants to an unfamiliar song.

"Shimmie shimmie, Ko Ko Bop.

I think I like it."

I ignore and enter my closet as Baekyun shuts the door. It's barely the second day of a week day and I'm hating it.

I pull out a red and orange ombré long sleeve skin tight sweater, high waisted black jeans that has two pairs of  massive buttons at the top center, near my belly button. I grab my heeled boots and make my way to the restroom to change.

"Someone looks sexy," I cringe at Baekyun's comment as I enter the kitchen. "Now that you're here, let me introduce you."

"Kyungsoo," Baekyun twirls a man who's slightly an inch shorter. Heart shaped lips, plushy feels, and big beautiful eyes. "This is YeonA, my baby sister. Baby, this is Kyungsoo, a close friend of mine and also the owner of the cookies you ate."

My smile widens as I remember the cookies I ate earlier. "Nice to meet you," I flash him one of my brightest smiles, closing my eyes halfway.

"Before you creep him out," Baekyun leads me away from the kitchen and into the living room, where Taehyung is standing by the doorway, looking outside. "I won't be able to take you to school," he tells me.

"Why not?" He stays quiet for a moment, almost looking as if he was hesitating. "I'm taking Kyungsoo to the airport."

I raise an eyebrow but drop the conversation before my suspicion rises. "Then who will be taking me to school?" He opens his mouth to speak but gets cut off by a very loud beaming voice.

"Baby girl!" I look towards the entrance and see Taehyung opening the door for our lovely cousin, Jimin. "You're taking me to school?" I ask him. Without answering me, he picks up my backpack from the rack and walks behind me, pushing me out the door.

Before I can protest, he shoves me out and shuts the door, leaving Taehyung and I outside. I narrow my eyes at him, asking him what all that was about. But he just shrugs his shoulders and gestures towards Jimin's car.

I groan in defeat and allow my feet to deliver me to my cousin's car, who already has another guest inside.

"Jungkook? Jimin's taking you to school too?" He hums in response, staring intensively at the neighbors.

I don't know what he's thinking from his body language as he looks normal to me - dead and unmoving. But his eyes, in a mysterious way, are narrowing in only at the neighbors.

"They're nice neighbors if you were to ask me," I say, breaking his trains of thoughts. He blinks twice before having the mysterious looks in his eyes disappear and be traded with a look of despair and disgust and a little bit of sympathy.

Yeah, I can see all that from the backseat even though he's in the passenger's side. I also get help from the rear mirror.

After moments of silence surfaces, Jimin finally comes back. "What were you and my brother talking about?" I ask instantly as he shuts the door. "Nothing important. Just a get together of all our friends." His response earns a twist of the head by Jungkook, who stares intensively, with burning flames and daggers shooting out of them.

"You better not."
