"Thinking about me?"

I could hear it when Marvel asked, he was skeptical but at the same time, eager to hear the full story.

I nodded. "I was wondering why you're willing to be used by me for revenge."

His silence had two meanings. First, he didn't believe I was actually thinking about that. Second, he started to question the offer he gave me that day.

"I never really thought about it," he finally made a sound. "I was just asking if you wanted to use me to take revenge, and you said yes."

"And have you ever wondered why I wanted to take revenge?"

"Of course, you would want to take revenge. If it were me, I would want it for sure."

When I found out that Marvel put himself in my shoes, I was at a loss for words. Someone as apathetic as him trying to imagine how someone else feels in a difficult situation… is highly unthinkable.
