48 Quit The Chit-Chat And Let's Fight.

"F**k, she almost killed me" Carter mumbled, reaching down for his hard member who was almost soaked up. Though he wore a tight fitting boxer briefs, his member still struggled to stand erect so he had to force it down by massaging it but the thing was just too stubborn to listen to him.

He was still in the process of massaging his member and trying to get it down when he observed Avril come into the room with a glass cup of water, so he swiftly turned towards the nightstand positioned at the edge of his bed, pretending to search for something inside the drawers.

"I got you, water" Avril shut the door close, moving towards Carter who shut the drawers closed and took the water from her, smiling to pursue the anxiety growing inside of him before Avril would observe she was even the reason why he was behaving that way in the first place.

Carter gulped all the water inside the glass cup down his throat swiftly within matters of seconds and then dropped the cup on his study desk, while Avril smiled euphorically with her heart throbbing excitedly immensely, her plan just worked out much easier and smoother than she ever thought it would.

All thanks goes to Carter, who asked for water.

Carter, who observed the weird way Avril kept on smiling at him and not saying anything, leaving an awkward silence reign between them, then asked, "So?".

Avril was lost in excitement, but pulled herself together. Yea, her plan was working out perfectly but she still hasn't achieved the main goal she aimed for and she was almost on the verge of it, but she still had to act smartly till the drugs she put in the water she gave to Carter to drink would start working out its effect on him.

"Uh, let's sit first" Avril forced her ass on the bed before Carter joined her and she then proceeded with her statement. "I came here to uhm.. you know about you wanting to reject me-".

Carter, not wanting to listen to that same old story of hers, had to interrupt, saying.

"As much as I would like to not walk out on you Avril, I'm really sorry but I can't listen to this. I've made up my mind so if you came here to get me to change it, it's simply not going to happen" Carter got up from the bed, trying to leave but Avril held him back by the arm.

"Carter, you can't do this to me, I love you" Avril stood, pouting and faking sad tears. She couldn't let Carter go when the drugs hadn't fully started having its effect on him.

That was the real reason she wanted to have a conversation with him to waste time, so Carter could finally fall asleep and then it would be game over, because she would finally win.

But What the f**k was even taking the drugs so long to start working?. Carter was already being insistent on leaving.

"I love your sister, Avril. I'm sorry but nothing is ever going to change that, not even you" Carter made known to Avril, slowly taking her hand off his arm and she sobbed. 

"I'm sorry" He muttered, two steps away from Avril and stopped when his visions suddenly became blurry, he shook his head to chase the lightheadedness he felt at that certain moment.

And within matters of seconds, Carter was down on the floor with his eyes barely open watching Avril coming closer to him. 

She was smiling as she hovered beside him, and the last thing he heard her say before he gave into sleep was.

"I'm sorry Carter, but if I can't have you, then no one else can".

If only Ariel knew this day would have come, then she would have just rejected Jacob's offer soft-heartedly without insulting him and now she has to pay the price for that, because Jacob was surely going to smash her into pieces during the duel while her father would watch her being tortured.

"F**k" Ariel murmured under her breath, getting up from the ground and moving towards the battlefield, glaring viciously at her father who brushed his body past her while going back to his seat to enjoy the battle that was about to rain down.

On reaching the center of the compound where Jacob stood, fisting and trying out some fighting skills Ariel found amusing that he was going to use to fight her.

Today would be the day she dies.

Jacob wasn't just an ordinary Beta, he was so strong and had outstanding fighting skills but what scared Ariel the most was his body build. Jacob was insanely muscular with massive strength and his broad chest and shoulders which made Ariel swallow hard.

Where was she even going to begin punching or throwing him kicks?Even if she somehow managed to successfully throw him punches or kicks, it was going to be as if water was being splashed on him.

Jacob was a rogue before her father found him and accepted him into his pack, and he was always rough. So could anyone volunteer to duel against Jacob on Ariel's behalf?.

"Why are you shaking?You look scared already!" Jacob taunted Ariel scornfully, watching her lame slow footsteps towards him, and also observing her quivering body even though she did a good job by hiding it, but she was obviously scared.

"I'm scared of nothing, Jacob. I just have to beat some senses into you today so you could learn how to behave" Ariel bragged proudly, the both of them walking in circles round each other, waiting for who would attempt the first attack.

"Ooh, she's quite nasty and I'm scared already," Jacob let out a short mocking laughter, "but that tough mouth of yours wouldn't get you anywhere, Ariel. None of this would have happened if you had accepted my kind offer in the first place".

"Oh shut up Jacob, you are such a blabbermouth" Ariel groaned, rolling her eyes." I have someone I have to put to shame today, so quit the chit-chat and let's fight".

Jacob was such a blabbermouth and she hated his type so much especially when it turned out to be a male.

Ariel, knowing Jacob was just finding ways to make her scared so she would lose any courage of winning him, wasn't going to let him intimidate her. Even if she doesn't win him, she would first annoy him with hopes of winning him because she believed strongly in herself that she was going to win.

An Omega surely has a chance to win against a Beta, so today Ariel was going to be a winner.
