His Alone.

Carter still had sleep in his eyes, so he rubbed his sleepy eyes, trying to get up from the bed when he observed someone's hand upon his chest, at first he thought it was Cole, due to the fact, Cole always slept in his room anytime he wanted.

But then It wasn't Cole, and it was noon so he wasn't supposed to be sleeping at such a time when there was lots of work to do in the pack house and as an Alpha. Then he finally recalled hiim having a conversation with his father before Avril paid him a visit.

Talking of Avril, his eyes followed the trail of the hand and got startled upon sighting Avril on bed with him, his own bed. What the hell was even going on?.

He carefully took Avril's hand off him, fracking his brain to recall what had happened before he fell asleep. Raising the blanket he was covered with, Carter got shocked discovering he was stark naked in bed together with Avril.

That was the moment he then recalled what had happened as his mind drove him back to Avril paying him a visit, the last thing he could recall vividly was him accepting a glass of water from Avril before feeling dizzy and collapsing.

F**k, Avril had drugged him and sexed him. 

Carter was still lost in thoughts with his hands on his head, tugging at his hair and wailing inwardly. What had he done?If only he knew this was Avril's intention of coming over to see him, he would have simply ignored her.

Avril yawned, stretching herself lazily on the bed. She was still preparing to go back to sleep but couldn't as her hand was going around the bed, searching for the chest it layed upon earlier but couldn't find it, so she popped an eye open.

She first popped an eye open slowly before the other, and on sighting Carter sitting beside her and shooting awful glares at her which didn't bother her at all, knowing the reason why. Avril simply just got up from the bed slowly, sitting and  wrapping the blanket around her bare breast.

She pushed off the hair blocking some part of her face, tucking it behind her ears and facing the wall, avoiding Carter's awful glares, making Carter to scoff disdainfully, watching Avril act so innocent as if she had no idea of what she had committed.

"Are you seriously waiting for me to ask for an explanation from you about what happened between us, Avril?!" Carter barked angrily, which sounded more of an order than just an ordinary question.

Avril kept mute, scratching the back of her hair with zero worries about Carter who was fuming in rage beside her and just kept staring at the blank wall.

Carter wasn't here to play or waste time away and Avril should know that, because she was just aggravating him by giving him the silent treatment. 

"Answer me when I'm talking to you!".

Avril had to keep her ears closed tightly before Carter's words would cause injury to her ears. It was too disturbing, so she simply tilted her head to the side, facing Carter and still kept mute.

And that only irked Carter more, causing him to grab Avril by the wrist, pulling her hand off her ears forcefully as she yelled, "Carter, stop, you are hurting me!" Carter didn't give a listening ear to Avril's pathetic deafening screams when she was the reason why he was behaving that way.

"I had sex with you!" Avril finally let the cat out of the bag causing Carter to let go of her wrist after he had done enough damage to it already, as it was reddened and hurting, he even almost broke her wrist.

Carter was shocked but got beyond shock when he heard Avril proceeded with her explanation. "I had sex with you but with no protection" She muttered with her head bowed and biting her bottom lip piteously as if she was feeling wrong about what she did to Carter without his consent, when she was the one who planned everything.

Carter went numb, with his hands trembling shakily while watching Avril, She had no f**king idea about what she just did today. He should have known this was her plan all along, when he told her she was going to reject her.

He should have known Avril would never give up on him that easily.

"When last did you had your f**king period?" Carter growled angrily through gritted teeth, waiting for a response from Avril who expected that question from him, seeing the way he was quiet and seemed to be calculating things.

"None of that matters, Carter, I'm surely going to get pregnant for you".

Those words of Avril only annoyed Carter further as he yelled, "f**k you" to Avril who didn't give a damn about his curse. He switfly reached for his boxers which he found were tossed away to the side of the bed and put it on.

He also searched for his shirt and pants too, but as he tried putting it on, Avril rushed him and grabbed them, saying. "I'm really sorry for what I have done but that was the only way, you would never reject me".

Carter scoffed disdainfully, running his hand through his messy hair staring at Avril as if she was joking, but she wasn't because he could see the seriousness in her eyes.

"You seriously think we both are going to work out?" He snatched his pants from Avril, sensing her attention was no longer on it but on him. "I told you already, Avril, that I'm never going to mated to you, so I don't care if you get pregnant or not, because I'm not going to be the father" Carter put the pants on, while watching Avril vigilantly before she would try snatching it away from him again.

"You brought this upon yourself, so whatever that is about to grow in your belly isn't mine" Carter made known to Avril, pointing at her belly while she could only sigh, faking tears. Carter was just blabbering due to the fact he was angry at that certain moment.

Because the pup that was about to grow in her belly is his, and his alone. 

"Carter, you marked me as a mate already and I'm obsessed with you, I can't live without you!" Avril yelled loud enough to Carter turning his back at her and preparing to leave the room, but stopped when he caught sight of Avril running her hand at the back of her neck where he marked her as mate.

"If I can't have you Carter, then no one can, absolutely no one, not even my sister and you should know that!" Carter shot Avril mean glares one more time and left his room for her to deal with herself because she had finally gone crazy.

He wasn't even capable of taking care of himself, and now Avril was trying to turn him into a father. The worst thing that would ever happen to her was getting pregnant, so she should pray she doesn't.
