14 Friends (Part 2)
" Hey! What's that!?"
"Is that a fucking monster ?"
" What the fuck!? Is there even any monster that can fly at that speed ?"
"Didn't we already cleared the area ? Are the monster repellent not working?"
The players started creating a ruckus, shouting to each other wondering what has gone wrong. As the sound of wind cutting was heard.
Every player, including Momonga and Ulbert looked at the sky. And all they saw, was a golden silhouette flying towards the place, where they were. At a very fast speed.
The silhouette somehow resembled a golden armour.
" It might be some kind of new monster, prepare for attack.!" One of the guild leaders shouted, Asking his guildmates to prepare for attack. He thought, there might be some kind of prerequisite or boss fight event, regarding the new Mysterious dungeons.
All the players, even without any orders, started getting ready for attack. That is except for two players.
" Wow! Ulbert San, are you sure that it's your friend ?" Momonga asked, as he held his right hand on his forehead, looking at the distant flying silhouette, that was growing closer every second, at a staggering speed.
"Absolutely!" Ulbert replied with a cheerful voice, his tone reminded one of a child, who was about to meet his friend, after a long time again.
" Shouldn't we say something to the other players ? I mean they are about to attack him." Momonga worriedly looked at the silhouette flying towards them, and then at the players, that had prepared to attack the silhouette, as soon as it came into their range.
"Haha, don't worry. They wont attack him. He is not that stupid."
And just as Ulbert said that, the golden silhouette, that has grown considerably closer, broke Like a glass and turned into golden particles, revealing a young man, or should we say a player.
Every player, even Momonga, except Ulbert was shocked, looking at the young man.
Long silver hair, that flowed down his back like waterfall. A mask that covered half his face, revealing only his pale lips. Wearing a beautiful white and amethyst robe, with a violet gem on the centre covering his entire body, except the hands. Two white majestic wings fluttering behind him, sending shockwaves, strong enough to blow low level monsters away.
Noah descended down, using his wings to land slowly. As soon as he landed on the ground, every player swallowed their saliva.
What they thought to be a monster, was just another player. They were a little shocked. However, it was not something new. There were many players that had flashy skills. It was just that, this one was a bit over the top shocking the players a lot.
Everyone soon recovered, as the shock value of the initial descent vanished.
"Tch! And i was scared thinking it's some monster. "
" Let's go back! We have more things to discuss."
Players and guilds, that had appeared to take down the monster, went back to their strategizing and preparation. However, players who were female, can't help but take side glances at the silver haired player. His avatar was immaculate and even if his face was hidden by a mask, it can't hide that his avatar was definitely beautiful.
As soon as Noah's feet landed on the ground, his large and majestic wings vanished, shrinking down, disappearing into his body.
Noah's amethyst eyes searched for a certain player, untill he heard the same player calling him from behind.
" Ayo! Noah! I'm here." Ulbert called for Noah from behind.
Noah looked back, and saw Ulbert waving his claws at him, with a waving hand emoji beside his demonic goat face.
Noah also waved back at Ulbert, his amethyst eyes then landed on the skeleton magic castor beside him.
Noah had met everyone from the guild of ainz oal gown, seperately, except Momonga. After all, Momonga was the main character, and if Noah affects some of the decisions of momongas guild mates, it probably won't affect much for the future. However, Noah didn't wanted to affect, even a little bit to Momonga.
However, he sighed in his heart. Because now, he will have to interact with momonga. Even if it's for a short amount of time. Noah just hoped, that their conversation won't make any significant changes.
" Hello, Ulbert San." Noah greeted, as he walked towards Ulbert, taking soft steps. Who was looking at him with anticipation, also a little confusion.
"Where is your crazy sister and that friend of yours ? " Ulbert asked, looking at him with confusion. Ulbert had seen that his sister was a crazy Bro con, and the other chick that was with him, was no less, being on the same level. Not leaving Noah for even a second. That's why, seeing them not accompanying Noah today shocked him a lot.
" They are not here today. And I'm alone. Or do you prefer to not be alone with me ?" Noah asked, with a smile emoji floating beside him.
Ulbert waved his hands and replied " No no no! It's better if you are alone. Phew! I always feel in danger, when I'm around your sister. It's better if we are alone. Haha.." Ulbert laughed at the end.
"By the way! Meet my friend, Momonga!" Ulbert then introduced momonga, as he pointed towards the overlord, that was standing a few steps away from Ulbert.
Momonga looked at Noah, who had his mask covering half of his face. Momonga's focus was at Noah's face, but he was interrupted when Ulbert introduced him.
Feeling a little awkward for staring at him. The skeletal overlord, scratched his bony head a little in embarrassment.
" Nice to meet you, Momonga San." Noah greeted Momonga, giving a slight bow like any formal Japanese person will do.
Momonga also returned his greeting, with his bow that was professionally trained, due to his saleryman lifestyle.
" Nice to meet you too, Noah San"
" You can just call me Noah. "
" Ahh.. you can also call me just Momonga then. " Momonga said awkwardly. For some reasons, he felt really awkward talking to Noah. As if he was something dangerous. Momonga thought it's probably because Noah was an angel, who uses holy magic that's probably why.
" Momonga, why are you acting weird?" Ulbert asked, suspicious about Momonga acting weird.
" Ahh.. it's nothing ulbert San!" Momonga denied of anything weird, waving his hand.
" Is he also coming with us Ulbert San ? " Noah asked, looking at Ulbert, as if he didn't knew if Momonga was coming with them or not, even though, he knows Momonga can't because, he is not a demon.
" No! Momonga is an overlord. Not a demon." Ulbert replied to Noah's question..
Noah used a surprise emoticon to show his emotions.
" So, he is an overlord ? I heard overlords can learn way more spells... "
" Yeah.. my class allows me to learn more then normal magic casters." Momonga replied to Noah's question, feeling less awkward, as time passed.
" Do you know that there's a gacha item called, [Wisdom Droplet]? It can give you 100 more spell slots for you to learn. Though, it can only be used once. And getting it is also hard. " Noah said to Momonga's surprise, who if he had mouth, would be shocked to say the least.
" You know about the [Wisdom Droplet] ? It's not even discovered by Yggdrasil wiki yet!" Momonga said, to which Noah used an raised eyebrow emoji to show his surprise.
" You know ? " Noah asked.
" Yes! I was actually fortunate enough to get it after 7 tries. " Momonga said, his voice carried his pride and achievement.
" Wow! To get it in 7th try.. you are lucky! I was only able to get it after 200 tries. " Noah said, shocking momonga.
" How the hell did you spend that much money on gacha ?" Ulbert and momonga both shouted in unison.
" Haha.. Don't look at me like that now, you are gonna make me blush.. " Noah said with a blushing emoticon floating to his side.
" I'm rich! So it's fine isn't it ?" Noah tilted his head saying that.
" What the heck are you saying!?" Ulbert shouted, he then ran towards momonga and held his shoulder, while Asking him in a loud voice. " How much was it ? How much was it for one pull?"
Momonga's shoulder slumped a little. As if he he has heard something forbidden and remembered something really sour.
" 50,000 yen.." Momonga said in a tone, that was barely audible.
" What?! I didn't heard it ? Say it again!" Ulbert not being able to hear, asked Momonga again, shouting and shaking his shoulders.
" 50,000 yen for one try!" Momonga shouted in frustration.
"WHAT THE FUCK!?!?" Ulbert shouted in disbelief. He was unable to understand the logic, to get one chance at an item that has nigh impossible chance of getting someone would spend 50,000 yen..
" Wait.. you tried it 7 tries.. that means.. " Ulberts hand left momongas shoulder, as he shouted in once again disbelief.
" You used your entire fucking bonus money on a fucking gacha!!?"
" I can't help myself can i !? " Momonga aslo Shouted back in frustration, and a little bit of embarrassment. He can't help it can he ? When there was the label, that there's a small chance for magic castors to get a change changing item and leave behind others with this gacha. With those marketting. Momonga wasn't able to stop himself. And spend almost all his money on that gacha. Fortunately, he got the near impossible to get gacha item, [Wisdom Droplet] and his money was well spent.

While all this was happening, Noah was standing on the side, watching Momonga nd Ulbert arguing to each other. Ulbert trying to chastise Momonga into not spending money on gacha, while Momonga trying to find ways to justify his gacha addiction.
Noah was amused. But it was just that. He wasn't interested in joining their guild, because he was friends with Ulbert, or any of the guild members for that matter. Noah didn't planned to join Ainz oal gown. He'll build his own guild base. Sooner or later.
Meeting with Ulbert here today, was purely of coincidence.
Noah had become friends with ulbert on a certain day. Ulbert was still a new player at that time. His chunnibyo persona after getting rescued by Noah, skyrocketed, as he started calling Noah his arch rival. Noah played along with him, boasting fire to Ulberts desire to roleplay as the bad villain. Soon, they become friends. They exchanged messages on daily basis. Talking about different Yggdrasil events and things.
Although, Noah was close with almost every member of original nines own goal. If one can ask him, who he was the most close with, it would be Ulbert Alain Odle. After all, Noah still had a childish side in him, that wanted to roleplay. And what better then a friend who appreciates your hobby.
However, Noah had no plans to bring Ulbert to the new world or anything. He was, however, planning to help Ulbert. As for why he didn't helped him already? It's because Noah didn't wanted to mess up with the original timeline. What if he helped Ulbert now, and he becomes a good for nothing, who just plays game ? He might create some shitty NPCs, instead of the beautiful vampire lady, that Noah was planning to make his.
Noah looked at the two bickering friends. The bony overlord was sitting on dogeza, while the goat demon was reprimanding him, like a parent reprimanding their child. Well.. it was understandable why Ulbert would try to reprimand momonga. After all, earning money and saving it for future, would be a far better option then wasting it on gacha items. And Ulbert being the pessimistic person he was, only made him even more worse on momonga.
" *Cough* are you guy's done yet?" Noah asked, drawing their attention towards him.
Momonga looked at Noah, as if he was his Savior. Noah can only gave a small nod as he looked at Ulbert and said.
" Ulbert San, shouldn't we be going now ? Look at those other players. They are already going inside the dungeon." Noah said, pointing at the players, who were in guilds and clan entering the big and Huge Gate and vanishing inside it. there were only non demon and angel related heteromorph players, left right now and a few angel and demon players, who were wondering wether they should go or not.
" Hmm.. you are right.." Ulbert said, before forgetting about the gacha matter altogether. Momonga heaved a sigh of relief, as he looked at Noah with gratitude. Noah only nodded his head a little.
" Well then.. Momonga, we will be going. Are you going back to the guild ?" Ulbert asked, what momonga was planning to do.
" I'm going back to the guild, we still have a lot of things to stabilize, and I'm sure bukubukuchagama san is going to make fun of me. If she logged in, and i wasn't there as the guild leader. " Momonga said with a wry smile emoticon floating beside him.
Ulbert nodded at momongas reasoning. And said " well then bye.." Ulbert said, as he started walking towards the gate, that was the entrance of the dungeon.
" Good-bye momonga. " Noah also started walking towards the gate, leaving those words and Momonga behind.
" Sigh~ Noah is actually a good person and he seems friendly too and rich at that. .. Maybe he could join our guild ?" Momonga muttered to himself. Before he casted [Gate] and vanished into the distorted purple space.
