Chapter 19:Testing Strength .2

Still standing on the tree I continued to stare at the wyvern to see if he would be lucky enough to evolve into a dragon, or maybe even a hydra.
While it doesn't matter if he becomes a dragon or a hydra I thought that it would be better if he became a dragon instead.
If it did end up becoming a hydra it would be fine but slightly disappointing since hydra's are typically weaker than a dragon, and while they could still become a dragon it would just take way too long.
However, if it did become a hydra and I had the patience to wait for it to evolve again it would be stronger than the typical dragon.
(2 hours later)
As I was falling asleep while on the tree I heard a sudden roar that startled me, and when I looked to my left I saw that the wyvern had finished its evolution.
Taking a long look at the monster I saw that it didn't grow any extra head which made it a dragon, and that the dragon was using that rawr of his to show off his new strengths.
The dragon that was once light gray now had some white scales on it, with light blue scales scattered around it.
Seeing it look like this I guess that it was a snow dragon instead of an ice one since the ice dragons are typically more blue than white.
Finding the new dragon cute and so prideful I decided that I should go and put it in its place.
Before putting it in its place I started to pump my fist in the air to help it celebrate its evolution into being a snow dragon.
While it may have been cool if it was a hydra I still didn't want it to since I wanted to test my strength against a dragon so I could tell if I would stand a chance against the underground ice dragon.
After helping it celebrate its newfound power I started to sprint towards it, and with my speed stat, it only took 25 seconds.
Decided that my first move should be punching its proudly high head I just jumped off the ground, and without him noticing me I punched its head with all of my might.
With my fist connecting to its head the snow dragon's head almost slammed against the ground, but luckily it reacted fast enough to not hit the ground.
The dragon started to shake its head to get out of the disorientation that it felt, and once it was done with that it stared straight at me.
When the dragon looked straight into my eyes I saw that the color was a deep beautiful blue color.
After staring at me for a moment it opened its mouth and started to charge a breath at me.
Waiting for the ice dragon to finish charging the breath that it had in its mouth I stood still to see what kind of breath it would be.
While I was waiting for it to finish charging its breath I just stared at it and admired how beautiful its scales were, then in a total of 30 seconds it finished charging and started to use its snow breath on me.
Deciding to stay still and see how much it hurt me I watched as my surroundings were covered with white ice particles hitting me now and then.
Finishing with its breath the dragon lifted its head high as if saying "How dare someone so weak challenge me."
Seeing this look a smirk crept onto my face, Looking at how far my health bar dropped I saw that with my regeneration passive skill and my cold resistance passive made it so I didn't lose too much health.
When the icy wind dissipated I jumped up again and patted the dragon on its head giving it the praise that it wanted, and then after I just beat it up.
Getting done beating it up I decided that I should keep it alive and leave it a gift to help it get stronger.
Before leaving I made sure that there was nothing around the snow dragon that was able to kill it, but I left everything that didn't pose a threat of killing it alone.

Deciding to stop playing for the night I logged out, and got off of the neural nano-interface.
Before going to bed I decided that I should go and check to see if there would be any kind of new information for YGGDRASIL, going onto the form there was a new prompt that was never there before.
What it said was that there will be a world championship tournament that will be held in two weeks, and the tournaments will be held within each of the nine worlds to have multiple champions.
It also said that there will be a total of nine champions and they will each have a special class and a special item they request that no one else will have.
The last thing that was said in the notice was that they will be adding special and limited items in the shop that will have random stuff added every three months.
Seeing this information I felt my heart start to race in excitement again, I was hoping that there would be a strong opponent that I would meet in the tournament.
Calming myself down, I decided that I should go to sleep now and wake up early so that I could start to prepare properly and make sure that I would have everything in order.
The first thing that I thought about doing was to try and take down the ice dragon that was inside the cave I found two years ago, but I ended up shaking my head at that option.
One of the main reasons for me not wanting to do it yet is because I have no clue how strong that dragon will be with all of that time of gathering and getting used to his power.
The next thing that crossed my mind was that I should upgrade my weapon since I have been using the same weapon that I got a year ago, and getting these weapons would boost my power.
Another thing that I should do is that I need to upgrade my armor since I haven't really focused on getting any type of custom armor, and just got random armor that was decent to use.
The armor and weapons strengthening are the only things that I can currently think of that can help me.
While I could try and level up my progenitor racial skill I would barely get ¼ of the way if I stayed on for 14 hours and constantly got XP to level up within the two weeks that I had until the tournament.
With all of my thoughts going through my head I started to struggle to fall asleep.
