In other words, Eve now had full control over the Assassins' Guild in the Roble Kingdom branch, and with all of the church's executives being synthetic Doppelgangers, Eve could keep an eye on Kelart nearly twenty-four hours a day.

No one understood why Eve was putting so much effort into plans like these, since normally she would just completely destroy her enemies, wiping their bases off the map.

Even Selena, who doesn't like war very much, found Eve's behavior strange.

As Selena continues to encourage herself, her carriage arrives at a humble, unnamed village on the edge of the country.

She looked out the window and felt even more nervous.

Unlike the capital, which had large and beautiful stone and marble structures, with paved streets and lighting made with magic stones, the houses in the village were small, made of wood and clay, roads made of earth and gravel, and the only lighting was a few poles with torches that were lit at night to scare away wild animals.

The carriage stopped in front of the village entrance, and right at the entrance, there was five armed men and an old and hunchbacked man, who seemed to be waiting for them.

The soldier disguised as a coachman gets out of the carriage and goes to the old man.

"Oya oya. It is quite rare for a carriage to pass through here. May I know what you and the person inside the carriage want?", the old man said with a slight smile.

The coachman smiled in kind and replied, "Don't worry, sir. My lady and I are tired from the long journey and it will soon be getting dark. We wanted to know if it would be possible for us to spend the night here."

The old man scratched his chin. "Hmm. I think it's okay. We have some empty houses that could serve as accommodation for you, but first I need to see your miss, after all, it is not uncommon for bandits to pose as nobles."

The coachman seemed to consider it for a minute, and replied, "That's true, but first I must ask for my lady's opinion."

The old man nodded. "Fair enough"

Going to the carriage window, the coachman pretends to ask permission, so, without notifying the old man, the coachman opens the carriage door, and what comes out of it astounds them.

A beautiful woman with pink eyes and long white hair, wearing a priestly robe with a symbol they had never seen before.

"My name is Selena, just Selena. And I serve the Goddess of Ascension, Eve-sama."

Hearing that, all the villagers there seemed to be uncomfortable and disgusted with what Selena's said as if her belief was taboo.

For a moment, Selena's smiling expression immediately disappeared, and a frown appeared on her face. Her eyes glowed a dangerous pink, and the villagers couldn't help but shiver. However, that only lasted a second, as if it were an ephemeral dream, and Selena smiled again.

With newfound determination, Selena begins her journey to show everyone how great Eve is.
