I know you all are not going to like it, in fact, you may even hate it but I'm going to let you know right now: any upcoming chapters that I had planned for Ghosthood is going to be delayed.

I enjoy writing Ghosthood, it was something that I started impulsively after reading other fantastic Overlord fanfics. Once I started to receive supporting comments, reviews, and readers who loved it, it made me happy and I enjoyed even more.

I do regret abruptly pausing and resuming the work repeatedly like I have been doing so far, however, so many things happen in a persons life, from health to the amount of free time one possesses. Fanfics usually gets pushed down to the bottom of priorities. It just is what it is, nothing is going to change that.

The main reason why I'm delaying this fanfic is because I'm going to participate in the new Carnival Fantasy contest that is being hosted on Webnovel. Not only that, I'm also writing my other novel CB-POV which I take very seriously.

Let's be honest and real for a second, fanfics are simply fan service stories. They are nothing but inspirations and ideas that are formed through reading and/or watching another's original ideas. Then transformed into a story of some sort, which usually only lasts until the author loses interest in that specific topic.

They don't provide anything but self satisfaction. One could monetize there fanfic by using 3rd party apps for donations and things of that nature, but I never wanted to earn money from Ghosthood. Ghosthood was a process for me, a process that allowed me to grow my writing skills. That's it— Wait this makes it sound like Ghosthood is being eviscerated from the planet Earth. I'm not dropping Ghosthood, but this will be on hiatus.

Point is, I will be much too busy to worry about this story. And I'd rather be less stressed rather than trying to work, take care of my health, write two other novels, and write Ghosthood. It's the most logical decision and I'm sure most would do the same in my circumstances.

I want to become a author, one that can write full time, and to do that I already have to make enough sacrifices for the appropriate amount of writing time. I can't waste that time doing something that doesn't help me financially right now. Hopefully you guys understand.

Again, this story is going on temporary hiatus, I'm not dropping it. Though, you are entitled to unsaved the book of you want, all up to you lol.

See you next update.
