Earl Zebra I

After Ash sent everyone to Room, he looked at desolate surroundings and thought, "Now how do I go back to Eternal?" 

Ash then decided to ask Buda and his answer was " I don't know"

Ash then opened his map and saw, Sharan Empire Earl Zebra's Territory was the closest.

Sighing Ash decided to visit Earl Zebra's territory.

"I don't recall much about him, probably because he's just a minor character," Ash mused silently to himself as he conjured the Phantom Steed Spell.

With a deft wave of his hand, a purple magic circle materialized on the ground before him. From its depths emerged a majestic black horse, its mane billowing elegantly in the unseen breeze.

Hello there buddy" Ash rubbed his head slowly and then mounted it.

Ash then started riding it to Zebra's territory.

After 10 minute of continuous Riding, he finally reached here.

the guards looked at him as he approached the city gates.

They pointed their spears at him and stopped him.

"Who are you?" 

Ash sent the Phantom steed back and said, "just a adventurer" 

The guards looked at him and then allowed him to enter.

Entering inside he saw the streets filled with people and merchants advertising their products.

"Lets' complete the tutorial first" Ash mumbled and then entered the barracks where one can do Tutorial quest.

The Tutorial quest was simple, one has to display, swordsmanship, spearmanship, Archery and Handle Shield, as for mage it's even more simple, one has to learn and shot 10 training dummies with their basic spell which is magic missile.

Ash entering the barracks joined the lines of nebies and went through the tutorial.

After completing Tutorial Ash gained some new skills.

[Intermediate Sword Mastery : Increase attack power of all sword type weapons by 18% and critical chance by 10%]

[Long shot (Passive): Increase maximum arrow range by 30%]

[Fatal strike(passive) : Increase damage by 10% if critical places are attacked, 100% chance of critical damage]

Dual casting is simple for Ash, a real-life mage; you simply spell one spell by mouth while mentally chanting another, and Ash accomplished it on his tenth try; if he hadn't hidden himself, he would have done it on his first try.

Not only that thanks to experience gain he is now level 10, which means additional 200 stat points, which he put to INT.

"Now onto next target" Ash mumbled and then went to Zebra's Castle.

Earl Zebra's castle.

The entrance was exceptionally dark and desolate, reminding Ash of the entrance to a horror house. 'His castle is enough to tell about his rotten personality' Ash mumbled.

"Whatever it is , it will definitely not like that cringy ghost house" Ash mumbled and stepped inside.

The soldiers guarding the gate looked at Ash suspiciously. They looked at his noble like clothes and understood he is someone distinguished.

It was the effect of easily acknowledged effect of Myth class, plus dignity and charm effect.

"Where do you come from?" The soldiers asked in neutral tone.

"I came to fight against the Slaughterer."

"Heok." The soldiers gulped. This person would fight against the fearsome Slaughterer!

'Furthermore, by himself?'

'The others all tried to bring more companions...'

"Are you serious?"

The soldiers asked with disbelieving expressions and Ash nodded.

"That's right." Ash

"Very well go on" The soldiers looked at each other and let him in.

Earl Zebra's body weighed 0.1 tons. It wasn't pleasant to look at his belly fat and greasy face. He stroked his droopy chin and looked at Ash before speaking.

"What are you?"

Earl Zebra was incompetent and ordinary. He had no apparent talents. He became an earl because he inherited it from his father, just as his father did. But his eyes were good at looking at people. He often mingled with high-ranking nobles in the social circles, so he could feel the dignity coming from the other person.

In his view, Ash had a mysterious aura compared to the royal family.

So far, the number of people who had attempted to defeat the Slaughterer was over 800, and all 800 of them had died. That Slaughterer was strong. In addition, there was a problem with the environment. The basement was narrow and the Slaughterer was large.

The maximum number of people allowed in the basement was three. It was the crucial reason why the strongest knights and magicians in his family couldn't kill the Slaughterer. It was impossible for only three people to get rid of the Slaughterer.

But the blonde-haired man, No, Kid, in front of him was alone.

Then a quest window appeared in front of Ash.

Zebra became bored of torturing stupid monsters who couldn't speak the language, and became addicted to torturing the 'good humans.'

He framed innocent people, made them prisoners, dragged them under the castle, tortured them, then killed them.

The half man, half beast watched this every day and became frightened, finally showing self-protective instincts. He opened the strength of an evil beast.

The Slaughterer has been subjected to numerous tortures and has the ability to grasp humans.

He is strong and dangerous.

He will become a great disaster someday if left unchecked now.

It meant it was extremely difficult compared to S-grade quests. He heard that the number of participants who could participate in this quest was only three.

'But my stats currently are more than enough, plus it is physical type boss, so Magician have a certain advantage and thanks to his all titles and skills effects as well as item effects, my cooldown reduction is 70% which means I can use magic missile twice in one second and shadow bolt every 3 second and barrier every 1.5 second' he thought and then 

"Let's go."

The soldiers guided Ash down to the basement. They walked down a narrow staircase for three minutes before arriving in front of an iron door that was firmly closed.

"O-Over here."

The sound of the Slaughterer breathing could be heard, so a soldier opened the lock with trembling hands. Then the soldiers ran away before the iron door opened. Ash was left alone.

Ash brought out his Blink Dagger and entered the basement prison.

Step step.

Ash listened to the sound of his footsteps echoing in the basement. The sound of the Slaughterer also entered his ears.

Kuoooh!

The Slaughterer's appearance was horrible and sad. His skin was peeled off and rusted metal pieces were embedded deeply inside his body. There were also pieces of flesh out of place. These were signs of Earl Zebra's torture. His face couldn't be identified because he was wearing a mask, but he had an eye patch and only one eyeball.

'What a mess" Ash mumbled with disgusted expression, not aimed at Slaughterer's appearance but at Zebra's cruelty.

"I will kill him after freeing him" Ash mumbled and fired magic missile at the eye of Slaughterer.

Kahhhhhh!

He screamed and covered his eyes, "Damage is less" Ash mumbled, the level difference proving a hindrance now, and now the only thing he can do is spam.

'Fortunately, it is close basement' Ash mumbled as he dodged the crude attack and used Mana drain, he didn't stopped it even after his mana bar was full and soon he drained all the mana from surroundings, and entered in overlord state, which results in increasing the attack of his next 5 attack magic spells by three times.

Ash used Blink and appeared at same level as slaughtered head.
