Where Did I Go Wrong?

In front of Emma Hart, there was only Nina Waters, who she had just drenched in water, completely forgetting whose lap she was sitting on at the moment. 

A familiar deep voice reached her ears, "Aren't you going to get up?" Like sitting on hot coals, Emma Hart sprang up from Damian Sterling's lap!

Immediately, Nina Waters' assistant rushed to offer her a tissue, but Nina, unable to open her eyes due to the stinging sensation of the water, felt utterly humiliated in front of Damian. It was as if she harbored murderous intent towards Emma Hart. 

"Wipe it off for me, quickly!" Nina Waters demanded, throwing the tissue offered by her assistant to the floor, raising her hands in frustration and shouting for help. The assistant, treading carefully, began to dab at Nina's face, clearly resentful but silent—after all, they depended on Nina for their livelihood.
