"Ha ha ha ha!" Emma Hart seemed fearless, completely unafraid of what Damien Sterling might do to her once he came out.

"Emma Hart! Just you wait!" Damien Sterling's voice, filled with a mix of annoyance and intrigue, penetrated the bathroom door and the sound of the shower, reaching Emma's ears.

Suddenly, Emma's laughter stopped.

Damien thought his stern tone had scared her, feeling a sense of pride. He thought, did this little wildcat really think she could contend with Damien Sterling with just a few tricks?

However, unbeknownst to him, Emma was suddenly gripped by severe abdominal pain, causing her to crouch on the wooden floor.

Her eyes widened in shock. The bathroom door was unlocked. Clutching her stomach with one hand, she used the other to push the door open and rushed inside.

"Hey!" Damien was so startled by Emma's sudden entry that he almost let out a shout.
