Giving Her Proof

Emma rose from the sofa and saw the surveillance footage on the TV, showing the villa's interior, with Emma herself moving around. 

He had secretly installed cameras, and the footage was from yesterday! He had evidence all along!

The screen showed Emma cautiously picking green plants from the garden, then taking them into the kitchen to put in the juicer. 

She was also seen selectively picking certain nuts from the table.

Damien paused the footage. 

Emma's breath grew ragged as she braced for the devil's judgment.

Damien had already had the green plant from the garden displayed on the table. 

With a loud "bang," the bottom of the pot shattered, a testament to Damien's fury.

"Aloe vera!" Damien Sterling enunciated each syllable with deliberation.

Emma Hart was startled; he had recognized it.
