CHAPTER 79

OPHELIA'S POV

"I go out of the kitchen for five minutes and it's already a mess?"

I peeked at Xavier from all the mess we had created in the kitchen. Olivia's elbow had accidentally knocked some of the batter on the floor and Hazel thought it would be a good idea to do a snow fight with eggs.

And I thought it was fine. 

As long as Xavier was out of the kitchen, it was fine.

But no, he couldn't stay out of the damn kitchen for more than five minutes.

"It's your fault. You shouldn't have left the kitchen if you knew that this was going to happen."

I poked my tongue at him while Olivia threw an egg at Xavier. He dodged the egg but it ended up hitting the wall.

Creating a yellow stain.

The phone rang as Xavier sighed and walked to get it. 

"Hello, uhh hey mum!"

"Mhm. Oh okay."

"Oh, so you're done with the date and are heading home now?"
