CHAPTER 50

XAVIER'S POV

"You will come to save me, won't you Xavier?"

A fourteen-year-old Nicole stood in front of me with tears in her eyes and bruises all over her arms. The wind blew as I stood in front of her. A masked man appeared out of nowhere, with a pocket-knife in his hand. Nicole screamed as she saw him walking towards her like a predator.

She writhed and squirmed but her hands were chained along with legs.

"Xavier Xavier, help me, please!"

I tried running forward but after a few seconds, I hit a glass. It was transparent, so I could see everything, but I couldn't go to her. The man was almost in front of her when I saw a familiar figure walking up to me. Tears rolled down her face as she whimpered in fear. I closed my eyes and tried to calm myself down. I had to think of a way to save her.
