CHAPTER 122

DAMON'S POV

"What sort of joke do you think this is, because the elders don't find it funny at all?"

I itched the center of my palm while watching the head of the Elders looking down at me. I was currently bowing to all twelve of them. While the whole sky was completely black, representing the mood of the Elders, I tried not to flinch as they rained down on me. 

I was completely drenched in water as I tried to raise my head and get a better view of the elders. 

"Sir, I apologize for the inconvenience I have caused, however I would like to call quits to this honorable job. I would like to go back to being a mortal and give another deserving mortal the chance to become immortal."

The Elder took in a deep breath, and sighed. His eyes were still red, similar to those of a mortal high on drugs.
