Nicholas Favre - main character: The younger brother of the duo was a 43-year-old banker in his original world, where he devoted his free time to exploring its wonders. He had plans to retire in a few years to dedicate more time to his relationship with his 20-year-old son. However, The Event upended most of his plans. Despite this, he maintains a cheerful and upbeat personality in front of others, though he is occasionally overwhelmed by anxiety and worry.

Eric Favre - main character: The older brother of the duo is a 45-year-old engineer and entrepreneur from their original world. He dedicated most of his time to expanding his business, while also ensuring he spent sufficient time with his family. Contrary to the rest of his family's adventurous spirit, he possesses a more relaxed and cautious demeanour, preferring leisurely outings over adventures. He is married and the father of two children.

Maksim Dyatlov - secondary character: In the original world, he was a Soviet surgeon who vanished in 1949 following an expedition accident in the Ural Mountains. He carries a sense of pride for his medical achievements in his original world and his skill in the New World. Despite his intimidating presence, he is surprisingly kind and empathetic, showing an understanding of others' situations and lifestyles. Since his personal event, he has been living in the New World for a decade.
