18 Chapter 18 : Punishment
"This bastard system played a trick on me"
Ting! an emergency message was sent to Leo informing him that, [All potions stored on your storage can't be use during punishment, the store are also disabled. Do your best to survive... One more thing, the monsters difficulty level increase as the player decrease the monsters numbers.]
"What!? Health and mana potions aren't available? The hell is with this system!?"
[Spawning monsters in... 1 minute]
'Sh*t, this system ain't letting me prepare'
Leo open his stats window,

Leo had put all of his remaining stats to toughness, putting 5 points to it increases his health points by 50.
[Spawning monsters in 10 seconds]
"Okay, let's see how many monsters I'll get"
He took out his sword gladiolus, it has cracks all over the blade, the sword's edge are not that sharp as it is compared when he first received it.
'This sword won't hold out for a little longer'
He doesn't have any spare sword, gladiolus is all he has.
[Monsters had been spawned]

Different monsters came out of warp gates, Leo could see their number increasing every second. Weak ones spawned nearby Leo, he determined that the closer the monsters is the weaker they are.
He could even see a dragon and a wyvern approaching his way. There were many powerful monsters coming.
"This is no joke..! I guess I'll run first!"
Leo went full throttle though he's not that fast because every steps he made were sinking down the sand. It was hard for him, but he didn't stop and continued on running.
There's nowhere to hide in this vast desert, he can be seen everywhere.

A black rolls royce driven by a chauffeur, fully dressed in black whilst wearing a gloves. At the passenger seat, there, her feet crossed, reading a book. A woman with fine, long, coal-dust hair and dark eyes. Wearing a long black skirt, a white blouse and a black medium-sized heels. She brushed her hair when it goes on her way of reading. Her slender hands, slightly polished in dark-red that seemed so sexy every time she flips the book's pages.
"When are we going to arrive to the meeting place!?"
Contradictory to her looks, she's a stubborn, easily irritated and a spoiled woman who gets everything she wants. She's the daughter of the CEO of one of the largest trading company in the Philippines.
"Madam, we're almost there. It's just that that we're stuck in a heavy traffic"
She opened the the window, the smell of polluted air entered the window as she opens it. She smelt it all that made her cough hard. She quickly shut the window still coughing the smoke out.
"Arghhh!!! This is why I hate here in the Philippines, people are so toxic in and out!"
"Old man Eric, can't you do something about it? I'm gonna be late!"
She folded off the book and puts it beside her.
"I can't do anything about it madam"
Eric looked at her in the mirror. She seemed really annoyed and angry about the situation.
The heavy traffic went on for about 30 minutes.
Finally they got out of the traffic and arrived in front of a ten-story building.
She slid off the car leaving her book behind.
"No! I'm 20 minutes late, ahhh!!!"
She angrily went inside the building, there were cubicles equipped with a PC and a printer, and there are two fax machine in the east alcove. Everyone of the employees greeted her with smile, but because of what happened, her face shows that she's irritated and all.The employees were already accustomed to her personality. She hurriedly went and took an elevator, she punched the number 10 button and waited to arrived at the top.
It was quick, she walked briskly and entered a room. There, a meeting was being held, all of the people present there shifted their gaze towards her.
"I'm sorry for being late, the heavy traffic-"
She was cut off by the man discussing in front of the round table.
"It's okay, sit down now and calm yourself"
She didn't opposed, instead she quietly sat down and place her hands on the table.
"You"re just in time because it is now your turn to discuss your opinion about the upcoming Hunter's Tournament, S-rank hunter, Claire Wilson"
The man standing in front of them was none other than the chairman of the Hunter's Agency. They were discussing the plan for the upcoming tournament. It is celebrated every year since the implementation of Hunters.
Claire had a memory chip with her, she injected the memory to the projector and all of her plans for the day showed up.

Leo was running aimlessly, the low and medium level monsters were almost behind him. The strong monsters were still at the far back.
Leo's steps were unsteady because of the sand and he's running for about 5 hours.

He tripped and fell, the monsters caught up, it was the low level monsters who caught up first to him. They all jumped on him, Leo quickly crawled to dodge them then he stood up facing them.
They were growling, clenching their teeth, eager to attack.
"Don't worry bitches, you all will have your turn!"
Without much thought, Leo charged towards the monsters, since he's superior in strength than the low level monsters, it was easy for him to kill them, but when he kill one monster, two monsters took its place and attack him. And their strength increases as their numbers decreased.
"Hah! Hah! This is tough"
He won't hesitate to kill the monsters but it is taking a toll on him. If he won't run the top tier monsters will catch up to him. But even the medium level monsters caught up too. They were encircling him, leaving no exit for him to escape. He has no choice but to continue fighting.
Low and medium level monsters tagged team and the top level monsters are almost catching up.
"You monsters leave me no choice!"
The monsters attacked in unison, Leo were trying hard to dodge, defend, deplete and parried their attacks. The increase on their numbers made it hard for him to block all the attacks, where some of it reached him and damage all parts of him.

The top tier monsters had reached him all the way to the far back.
[Special Mission : A one on one fight with a top tier monster, other monsters will not intervene and if the player killed the selected monster, he will automatically clear the punishment]
