Chapter 38

It is Monday morning but I’m still in heaven when we land back in Denver. Adam is already waiting for us and he takes us directly to the office. Liam thought of everything when he prepared for the trip. I say this because among the hiking and casual clothes, he made sure I have a business outfit for today. It is a fitted pencil dress with fun puffy three-quarter sleeves, in teal. A color I would never choose on my own but now that I’m wearing it – I love it. Especially how it contrasts the red hue of my hair.

Although Liam’s mood was very dark after the appearance and disappearance of Vivian and Duncan. The walk we had around Aspen made him return to a better mood. I don’t know what those two told him in the short time they were together, but I’m guessing it wasn’t good. Earbuds and good old blues made sure I didn’t hear any of it.
