Buzz I slapped the alarm clock and it stopped it was six 'o' clock Monday morning it was time for school, woah I never thought I would ever say that again I smiled I was going to have fun coz I was in charge with a nod I threw the covers to the side and got out of bed I jumped into the shower and washed myself I got out and wrapped myself in a towel I got to my room and walked to my wardrobe and picked out my orange ball gown it had a white butterfly on the front when I was ready I went downstairs breakfast was waiting I went to sit down

"Good morning your majesty"

"Good morning Hayley" I replied with a smile Hayley was the new cook that replaced Valerie I tucked into breakfast which consisted of cornflakes toast and orange juice and yes it was all imported from earth when I finished I said goodbye to Hayley then blinked to the school I blinked just outside the reception area as I didn't know where the headmaster would be I walked to the desk and asked to see the headmaster I was told he was in his office she showed me where it was I said my thank you and walked to the office I knocked on the big wooden door that had his name written on

"Come in" the voice called I smiled and opened the big heavy door

"Mr Reed" I called as I noticed he was at his desk working he looked up from his desk, don't ask me what his desk looked like because I couldn't see it, as it was piled high with paper, paper and more paper I looked around to see a few file cabinets around were they even in use I looked at him again and he was smiling

"Your majesty I'm so glad you came" I smiled at this as he stood up

"Yes but could you not call me that in school please?"

"Of course, what may we call you?"

"Miss Issa" I told him he nodded

"Very well miss Issa, would you like Me to show you around?" He asked I nodded we turned towards the door and walked out he showed me around the school, the dinning hall, the classrooms, I even met some of the teachers at last my class I went in, there was a blackboard behind a desk and chair I assumed was mine then infront were about 30 single desks they were the old fashioned type the ones that opened James left me to get my lesson together but I decided to just ask the kids I was teaching what they were learning soon the bell went and the pupils walked in they all said their hellos before they all sat down once they were settled I started the class

"Good morning class" they all replied with a good morning "ok first of all you can call me miss Issa in school, second I don't know your names so bare with me, and thirdly could one of you please tell me what you're learning so that I can carry on from where your teacher left off" straight away one student put his hand up I nodded towards him and he spoke

"Miss Issa we're Learning about England at the moment and how their favourite food is hot dogs" he smiled I smiled too and nodded

"Ok I don't think favourite food in England is hotdogs I think it's pizza or burgers but oh well" I shrugged I sat down at my desk and looked at all the books I picked the one that said 'earth' and opened it to the first page I gasped at the picture it was a picture of the galaxy but wrong earth was positioned where Pluto should be I turned to the next page then angrily shut the book the sound echoed the whole class gasped I threw the book infront of the desk made a fire ball and threw it the book the students gasped and stood

"The book is wrong I want all of you to throw your books into the fire" I told them pointing towards the fire I created the students laughed and all threw their books into the fire when I was sure the books were well and truly burnt I put out the fire using a water ball, a power I had picked up after Valerie's power loss "now" I said sitting down "the class can really begin" the students all sat down in their respectful places as I started class "earth is one of 9 planets it is third from the sun not ninth we will start from the beginning everyone forget what you have learned so far" one of the students put his hand up "yes?"

"Miss? Uh well the teacher that taught us, mrs Barlow, well she spent twenty years on earth I mean she would've if she wanted to become a teacher so she couldn't have got anything wrong" he said his piece and sat down I stood up again

"Mrs Barlow got it wrong you see I think someone lied to you she didn't spend twenty years on earth I don't think she spent a day those books" I pointed to the ash that was left "were wrong earth is number three not nine, hotdogs are not real dogs they are made from beef or pork United Kingdom isn't another name for the planet and English isn't the only language spoken I got these wrong facts from the first page I can't imagine what else she got wrong" I huffed "now if you want to learn the true facts shut up and listen if not get up and leave" I waited to see if anyone would leave thankfully no-one did "good lets begin" I turned and walked to the blackboard and wrote in list form the words

Pluto I put the chalk down and turned towards the class "this is how every kid on earth learns the order of the planets in the Milky Way and now this is how you will learn" like this my life as a teacher began I knew it was a worry because there was a test coming up in a few months and I knew there was No way they could be ready on time I could only hope against hope that things would work out I decided to speak to James later and ask if the test could be done another time.

Instead of going home that evening I decided to go to Vampore to see king Harold ok not just him but Vlad too every time I thought of him I smiled I didn't know weather it was love or just lust due to the premonition I had but right now I didn't care I was just looking and that isn't wrong on any planet.

"STOP, WHO GOES THERE" someone shouted behind me as I blinked to Vampore I had only taken one step, I turned to see a guard holding a sword ready to attack I put my hands up in surrender "oh it's you, queen Caitlin I'm sorry"

"It's ok" I turned and began walking towards the dining hall then stopped and turned just my head "What's your name?"

"Why? He looked scared I shrugged

"No reason just curious"

"Devol " he answered looking down I nodded I turned again and made my way to see the king I found him eating he had his back to me so I creeped up behind him, the cook saw me from the corner of her eye a smile on her face as i put a finger to my lips telling her to shush, i covered his eyes he guessed straight away it was me and when he turned I pouted

"How did you know?" I asked him he shrugged

"Your smell" he shrugged I gasped

"I do not smell" I nearly shouted smelling my clothes he just chuckled

"Your blood has a unique smell, a smell only you have I could smell it the moment you walked in" he smiled he turned again and started eating "would you like some?" He asked I shook my head my blood has a unique smell "don't think about it too much you'll give yourself a headache" he said as he swallowed yet another mouthful. I smiled

"So what are your plans for today?" I asked trying to forget

"Well I have a party to plan, you wanna help?" He asked smiling I nodded enthusiastically

"Who's party?"

"It's Vlads eighteenth birthday party" he answered

"Ooh goody" I jumped up and down clapping " I can't wait to turn eighteen"

"Oh are you excited about finding your mate?" King Harold asked as I sat down wanting to help him

"Uhh mate?" I asked a little embarrassed when Vlads face from the premonition invaded my thoughts he nodded

"Yeah that is what happens when you turn eighteen for Vampeens isn't it same for Earthlings?" He asked looking interested

"No" I shrugged "we fall in love we get together we get married, have kids, get divorced, and fall in love with someone new then do the same thing some people stay with the same person forever but not always we don't have mates, though I love the idea" I smiled

"Earthlings are complicated" Harold frowned he shook his head as if trying to clear his thoughts I smiled

"So do you mate for life?"

"Yes" he smiled

"What happens when Vlad meets his mate?"

"They bite each other and there journey begins" Harold told me I gasped he's gonna bite me my mind shrieked

"What if" my voice was high so I stopped and cleared my throat whilst the king looked at me puzzled I spoke again relieved I sounded normal "what if he doesn't find his mate on his birthday?" he gasped and sighed

"Then he starts to become weak and soon he dies" I gasped

"How long does it take for him to die?"

"That depends on how strong he is" Harold shrugged

"Does it hurt?"

"I don't know I have never met anyone who didn't find their mate I've only heard stories" he told me I shook my head

"No I mean does it hurt when they bite" king Harold shook his head in amusement

"No it feels .... Amazing better than amazing" I smiled when his eyes lit up probably thinking about his wife I smiled just then Vlad walked in

"Hey all" he greeted we greeted back then I asked what I wanted to ask for a long time

"What happens if, theoretically speaking of course, that your mate is the ....., I don't know, princess of another planet?" I asked I couldn't let them know I was asking about me so I said princess they smiled at each other but Vlad was the one that answered

"It depends"

"On what?"

"Weather or not we're friends I mean if she's from a friendly planet then I want to be with her if she's from an enemy planet then I'd rather die then be with her" I nodded

"How would it work I mean you're soon to be king and she's soon to be queen who'd live where?" he thought of this for a while that felt like hours long hours he finally answered

"I don't know we'd figure it out together but I wouldn't give up on her" he said looking at his dad who smiled agreeing with his son I still felt uneasy we talked more before I decided it was time for me to leave as I was leaving I remembered something I turned to face king Harold

"Hey king Harold?"

"Yeah"

"You know your guard um devol?"

"Mmm?"

"Could you please give him a promotion" he looked at me like I had grown another head

"Why?" he asked I shrugged

"Coz he was ready to take me down when he thought I was an intruder" Harold sighed in a 'oh no way' I laughed "it was good king Harold it means he can protect you if the need ever arose" Harold smiled

"Ok done" I smiled as a thank you and blinked home that night I couldn't sleep wondering what the future would bring I smiled knowing that Vlad would stick by me if I turned out to be his mate but what about my people? Would they be ok with it? And Tony I could see his disappointment and got angry he had no right to tell me what to do I sighed then groaned this was going to be tough I closed my eyes willing myself to go to sleep it was a school night I had to sleep.
