Dare to dream

The wind was light, and the air was slightly cooled. The waves softly brushed against their feet as they walked the shore. Still hand in hand, the couple embraced the sound of the ocean, and their time alone. Neither spoke, but cherished the presence of the other.

Jin glanced down at Seo-yeon while she gazed at the open sea. His heart did a little jump at the beautiful portrait she was creating. As quietly as possible, he pulled out his cell phone, and captured what he considered another pivotal moment of his relationship with her. Although he had told her on more than one occasion that he loved her, he felt at this moment as if he rediscovered his love for her.

"What're you doing?" Seo-yeon questioned as Jin gazed at his phone. He laughed and showed her his screen.

"I think I've found a knack for photography," he smirked while playfully wiggling his phone, "What do you think?"

"What do you call this art piece?"

"Mine," he cheekily said.

Seo-yeon playfully rolled her eyes at his cheesy comment. She loved the way he jokingly flirted with her at any given moment. He wasn't shy with his words, and was confident in his feelings for her. Her fear that touring with him, and being this close would be difficult on their relationship was consistently being wiped away.

She leaned forward and kissed him on the lips. He blushed at her sudden action. He glanced around to see if anyone saw. It was not like her to be so bold with her affection, and they were always careful not to be caught by others.

"What was that for?" he stammered.

"Just 'cause," she blushed, "I admit that I wasn't too confident in our relationship. I hate that I worry that something will happen and we'll have to say good-bye. But lately you give me the confidence I need in myself, and us."

Jin gently smiled, then checked their surroundings. Seeing no one around, he carefully placed her bags on the sand, and pulled her towards him. He softly brushed his lips against hers, and held her in his arms. She wrapped her arms around him, and tip-toed to meet his lips.

***Evening***

The group began their drive to the hotel, having spent their whole afternoon at the beach. Each were full of energy, and glowing from the sun and happiness radiating off them. They had engaged in various activities on the beach. Kiteboarding, beach volleyball, swimming, and sitting out on the pier fishing, and engaging in conversation.

The other group members enjoyed getting to know their hyung's girlfriend, and could understand why he was willing to make the sacrifices he did. Before they knew it, the day was almost over, and they had to head back to their hotel. They would have dinner, and spend their last night in California before heading to their next stop.

Seo-yeon and Jin were left alone in the parking garage to say good-bye. The others hastily bid her farewell, and gave the two a few moments to be alone. The lack of time they are given to relish in each other's company had not gone unnoticed by the others. Knowing that there would be very little time to engage in conversation once they continued the tour, they gave them what little time could be given.

"I had fun today," Seo said once they were alone.

"Me too," Jin reached over and placed a strand of her hair behind her ear, "One day we won't have to sneak around like this, you know?"

"I'm just counting my blessings that those close to us know. I'm happy, and loved," she sighed as his fingers grazed her cheek. He held her chin as gently as possible, and kissed her. She returned the affectionate kiss with all the love she had for him.

The night air filled with passion as the two deepened the kiss. Holding one another, and holding on to the promise that one day they could openly display that they are in a relationship, they tightened their embrace. The idea that they could share to the world that they are in love, and the posibility that others would accept it was a distant dream. The couple continued to embrace one another in the quiet garage. Neither noticed the slight movement in the distance, nor the sound of the clicking of a camera. Each fully absorbed in one another.

Hello readers,

Sorry this chapter is shorter than all the others. This chapter is important to my character's life change, and I can see the end of the road for this novel in the distance. On a side note, I already have ideas for my second novel. Now whether I'll make it another fanfic, or a novel that is not related to any sort of celebrity is still something I'm thinking about.

There's more to come for Seo-yeon and Jin, so I hope you all stick around to see their ending.

Love,
