Chapter Four

Vritra's little adventure expanded her understanding about this world and how it houses the different races without inciting conflict. A world where thousands of different realms lived, and inside these realms, inhabitants of the different tribes created different environments that suits their preferences.

The Eternal Flame realm of the Primordial Phoenix race, houses the Heavenly Phoenix tribe. The Black Abyss realm houses one of the overbearing Abyss Giant tribe. These realms not only have one or two tribes, but actually have more than that. Understanding these information through going from one place to another, makes her admired how powerful the Silver King is.

And before going home, her next stop would be the Green Swamp Kingdom of the Evergreen Forested realm which houses the Winged Serpent tribe…

"Who sent you here…and how?"

Sighing softly, Song Hai has no choice but to accept that they can no longer avoid fighting this girl in front of them. Sending telepathic message to his team to prepare for battle, he took out something from his storage ring; it was blue colored sphere and has clouds circulating around it.

The Storage rings, by dropping blood on it, it will recognize you as the owner. Getting items even when bound or trapped is very simple.

With a POP! The blue sphere in Song Hai's hand burst out like a balloon, and dense gray colored fog covered the area of twenty miles radius.

The fog that enveloped the area increased her vigilance…

Seeing that they won't answer her question and went aggressive instead, she activated the thirteen support magic available with her right now. A primordial aura exploded forth from her and turned the area distorted and a rainbow colored light clashed against the grey fog.

But when seeing her aura just went past through the fog, she can't help but panic. Not understanding what your adversaries could do, can lead to fatal situations you can never come back from.

However what she sense from the gray fog was nothing, no sense of danger was emitting from the fog, so when her -Eye of Iris- fully activated, she saw the five humans hurdling together like some team going to the finals.

Shrouded by the fog Song Hai and his team listened to each other's suggestions. "This is the world fog pearl, it blocks the senses including spiritual sense below great circle of Nascent Soul realm, we still got time and we can decide whether we attack or retreat" said Song Hai solemnly.

"Wait including our senses is blocked?" said Wang Wei.

"Of course not, I can decide whose senses I should block" said Song Hai confidently. "See now you can sense your surroundings again"

The feeling of being submerge in the deep water was slowly disappearing and Li Jie, Chen Gui, Zhang Min, and Wang Wei felt like they just went out of the surface and breathe in a mouthful of fresh air.

"Wait…she's gone" said Zhang Min who was the most alert than anybody on the team. "Watch Out!" the craggy voice she'd been using turned into a high pitch screech instead.

Before anyone could react from her warning a huge armored tail was speeding towards Chen Gui whose train of thought was filled with sinister plans. "Humph!" snorting coldly, Chen Gui's dazzlingly bright aura turned into a white shield that stood in front blocking the incoming tail. PENG! The white shield shattered, and the tail continued towards Chen Gui's chest.

BAM! Chen Gui's chest caved in and he was spitting a mouthful of fresh blood and crashed towards one of the trees. The trees stood tall like nothing happened, but Chen Gui can't stop throwing up blood and is tethering on the verge of collapse.

Seeing this, Song Hai and his team stood rooted on the spot, things just happened too fast, they only felt slightly relieve when Chen Gui, was popping medicinal pills on his mouth and struggled to get up.

The tail appeared instantly and also disappeared at the same time, but since they know where the tail came from they followed its source and saw death looming over them.

The rainbow colored aura distorted her surroundings and within it was crimson full body armor giving off a metallic sheen. Her pair of white feathery wings expanded to more than five meters that casts a shadow towards the humans.

With the armored tail over her head ready to pounce anytime. "I just tried poking them, but I didn't think that would be enough to immobilize one of them…whew these humans are weak" is what she thought right now. She even activated all her support magic because she has no clue about the combat strength of the humans.

"We should get out of here" said Zhang Min through telepathic message. But her voice was slightly quivering. Her using the raspy voice as cover disappeared. The voice heard by the team sends soothing effects in their hearts calming them down.

Without thinking hard Song Hai responded automatically. "Alright back me up, we'll trap her for twenty breaths and lets all rush towards the portal, Wang Wei and Li Jie, you two go and hold her off" Song Hai estimated that the crimson snake princess has the strength of great circle Nascent Soul realm when he saw Chen Gui injured.

Nodding their heads, Wang Wei and Li Jie rush towards the crimson snake princess…

Smashing his right hand towards his chests, BOOM! An explosive sound echoed out and instantly Wang Wei's body expanded two in size and his skin turned brownish gold and his muscles were bulging power.

Increased power, speed, and defense his confidence was soaring up, true they felt danger from her, but upon noticing since the beginning they face off, no aura was emitting from her, so he thought that it might be because of the armor that sent Chen Gui incapacitated. So understanding this he sent hundreds of punches towards Princess Narisa…

At the same time Li jie, slaps his two hands together like a prayer and an aura of immense pressure was sent to his surroundings. With the fluttering of his robe, one hand after another came out from his back until it reaches eight hands.

Clutching swords in each hand, Li Jie sends sword mirages towards Princess Narisa…

Looking at the slowly approaching humans in front of her, Princess Narisa looked at them coldly, extending her armored hands like she was ordering them to kissed it, Wang Wei and Li Jie suddenly lost control of their bodies, their martial arts that they were so proud of was crumbling faster than they can react.

Chen Gui, who was clouded with rage due to being pummeled by Princess Narisa, took out a pitch black needle, when he saw Wang Wei and Li Jie's situation he couldn't help but cursed at how useless the two were. Releasing his entire aura and turned it into speed, he rushes towards Princess Narisa's back with the pitch black needle on hand.

Ignoring Wang Wei and Li Jie gasping for air with pale faces, Princess Narisa met Chen Gui's pitch black needle with a punch from her. BOOM! The pitch black needle went through her armor and pierced her fair skin.

Feeling the pitch black needle pierced through, he laughs hysterically while he was sent flying again. Upon crushing from the trees Chen Gui was smiling wickedly.

"Hahaha, bitch that needle was poisoned and the poison was brewed by using the eternal corrosion mushroom hahaha!" said Chen Gui, while coughing out blood.

Seeing this Song Hai and Zhang Min, who was readying a sealing formation array, felt slightly relieved "This guy can be useful sometimes" thought Song Hai.

"Hm, I see, but what shock me the most, was that you broke through my armor…seeing your strength, that's almost impossible" said Princess Narisa with an alluring voice.

"But before you celebrate, let me remind you that the Winged Serpent tribe has poisons within our bodies" said Princess Narisa coldly "Now go die!"

SWOOSH!

Before Chen Gui could react, the tail above Princess Narisa disappeared and with a piercing sound, Chen Gui was nailed into a tree…

A scream that penetrated the soul echoed in the surroundings. His arrogance disappeared instantly and in his eyes was replaced by fear. "No…I don't want to die! Help me!"

"Let me remind you that I was just testing your strengths just now, do you think that first attack of mine was my full powers? If you did then you're all going to die here" she said coldly to them, and when she saw fear and unwillingness appeared in Chen Gui's eyes, she smiled coldly behind her crimson helmet.

After a few seconds passed, Chen Gui's lifeless body was flung to the side, but princess Narisa wasn't satisfied and turned the lifeless body into powder. With that one human cultivator died in an unknown territory…

Shock filling the eyes of Song Hai and Zhang Min they still need time for the array to be finished, and the fight just then only ten breaths has passed…

Song Hai, seeing the overall situation, can't help but feel how helpless they are, but now was not the time to brood over things; he needs to bring at least one person alive. Song Hai was an Elder and seniority wise he has the decision over this team.

Breathing in and out slowly, he made a decision "Zhang Min, continue pouring energy into the array, I'll give you as much time as possible" after saying this Song Hai released his Nascent Soul realm aura and flew towards Princess Narisa without waiting for Zhang Min's reply.
