"Because you are?" Ryden replied while dramatically shaking his head. His tone was as if he was saying 'why else?'

"Y-you're the pervert! Your whole family is a pervert!" Clyde blurted out with a red face while trying to cover his body with the sheets

'What the... that's annoying but also cute' Ryden thought before shaking his head. What was he thinking? But wait... did Clyde just say

With wide-open eyes, Ryden speaks in disbelief while pointing his finger at Clyde. "D-did you just insult the whole Imperial Family?"

Clyde blinked his eyes repeatedly at first before realizing what he had said earlier. Fortunately, there was only them inside the bedroom

If not, Clyde might be charged with treason already

"I-I don't know what you are talking about" Clyde replied guiltily. He wants to hit himself for being so stupid

"A-anyway, I-I'll go t-take a bath now!" Clyde declared and seeing Ryden raising his brows, the former misunderstood the latter

"P-pervert! I wasn't inviting you!" Clyde said angrily while running straight into the bathroom inside the bedroom

"What the... I didn't say that he was inviting me" Ryden muttered in disbelief. The only reason why he raises his brows was that he thinks his wife was weird

Didn't Clyde say earlier that he doesn't want to clean up? Why did he suddenly go against his words?

With a sigh, Clyde shook his head and exited his bedroom to go wash up in another room

"My god, what am I thinking?" Clyde mumbled to himself while his body was submerged inside the tub filled with water

Originally, he planned on still acting like a pure white lotus. If his husband was an ordinary prince, he would always act cautiously

However, after finding out that the 6th Prince was actually Ryden from his previous life, his personality seems to have turned a 180 degrees

"No, this is not my fault. It's all that doucheface's fault" Clyde convinced himself while slapping his cheeks a bit

Clyde took quite a long time in the shower as he adjusted his emotions and mindset. He couldn't continue being this tranquil. There is still a great danger in his life

While thinking of that, Clyde finishes washing his whole body from head to toe before grabbing one of the bathrobes inside

It was the only thing he could wear for now

"I hope that pervert wouldn't do something" Clyde muttered before exiting the bathroom

Outside, he saw that his husband was already lying in the bed with his eyes close

If it was just that, Clyde wouldn't mind it since that was a food thing for him. However, he saw that Ryden's hair was still wet and the man was also wearing a bathrobe

Since there is only one bathroom inside their bedroom, it means that Ryden took a bath in another room

That's something that would be detrimental to Clyde's plans!

Clyde instantly forgot his decision of always acting calm even in front of Ryden. His frustrations exploded and he immediately charged towards the man

For the nth time, Clyde grabs a pillow but this time, he didn't throw it at Ryden. Instead, he uses it to continuously hit the sleeping man

Ryden was instantly woken up just to see a pillow aiming for his face. In a panic, Ryden immediately dodged while staring at his wife

"Hey! Hey! Why are you being so violent again and to a sleeping person at that?!" Ryden asked, almost tearing up. He never received such abuse before!

Why is his wife is violent?

"You really have the nerve to ask me! You just made a mistake!" Clyde replied angrily and the clueless Ryden can only block the pillow with his arms

"P-please explain my mistake first before hitting me you freaking gorilla!" Ryden cried out which was a mistake

"Gorilla?" Clyde muttered in both a questioning and a threatening tone

Ryden has lived the majority of his life on the battlefield but he still felt some fear in the way Clyde stares at him

"I-I'm sorry, master" Ryden apologizes while trying to suck up to Clyde that was releasing a very dangerous aura

"I will let the gorilla matter slide for now. But do you know what you did wrong?" Clyde questioned and as expected, the prince shook his head

"You took a bath in another bathroom!" Clyde said through gritted teeth and Ryden immediately crossed his arms in front of his chest

"I knew it, you're really thirs— aww!" Ryden almost cried as Clyde hit him with the pillow again

"Pervert! That's not what I meant!" Clyde said with an exasperated sigh

"We showed to all the Nobles and Royalties that attended our wedding that we have a good relationship with each other! You taking a bath outside our room is going to show the opposite of what we need to show! Don't think that this is a small matter, in High Society, even the most minute of detail could still be manipulated to become a big one!" Clyde explained but it was too complicated for the Prince to understand

Clyde notices that as he saw Ryden leaning his head to the side with a face full of question marks

Clyde's forehead wrinkled before spoke again. "Look, I don't want to die for the third time without enjoying my life. And because there are people in power that want us dead, we can't afford to commit even the slightest mistake. You understand?"

Clyde's 1st life ended prematurely as he was assassinated thanks to the Duchess and Empress

The second life wasn't exactly good. His husband was a homophobic gay and his parents don't love him

In those lives, Clyde always tried his best to make people like and love him. That gave him no room to enjoy life and do the things he really want to
