Attracted?

"That's my mom." Yong-Hyeon voiced out.

Aaron was still staring towards where Choi Li Hwa disappeared.

"That's my mom."

"I know." Aaron replied to Yong-Hyeon but was still staring towards the kitchen.

"That's my mom!!!" Clenching his jaws Yong-Hyeon said one last time.

He was truly angered by Aaron.

'How dare this guy, stare at his mother!' Yong-Hyeon said in his mind.

"I wasn't thinking of anything bad, I was just staring!" Aaron finally snapped out of his stupid dazed state.

"So you were thinking of something?" Yong-Hyeon said raising his brows.

"..." Aaron.

'How many times he was speechless by this little twerp, today?!' Aaron thought in his mind.

He knows from experience that this is a trap question.

Whatever the answer he gives, it will not satisfy this twerp so it's better to stay silent.

But his silence also can be treated as an answer.

Aaron is f*cked, either way.

The two of them stared at each other for a few minutes before Aaron spoke up.

Aaron thought to himself, that the kid in front of him is smart right? So he will try to wing it and hope he can pry out some information from the little twerp.

"Is your mother single?" Aaron asked staring at the annoying little brat.

"What is it got to do with you?" Yong-Hyeon showed a hostile expression like he literally wanted to chew the guy in front of him up.

"I'm just saying, your mother is beautiful and you said before that you don't have a father. So I was just curious nothing much. Did you assume that I like your mother? How laughable, hahaha." Aaron awkwardly replied and tried to play a fool. He hoped that the little guy will let it go.

Right now, Aaron chose his words very carefully, this kid might be smart and intelligent but he is still a kid.

Aaron is trying to fish for information while trying to dissuade this little twerp's thought of him thinking about the brat's mother.

"Did you just say that my mother is not good enough for you?" A vein burst open on Yong-Hyeon's head. He was now glaring and baring his teeth to Aaron.

Seeing Yong-Hyeon was ready to pounce on him and shred him to pieces, Aaron thought the little twerp does look kind of cute when angered.

Still, Aaron needs to calm this little twerp before the beauty comes back with the coffee she had gone to make.

At least he was able to change the topic, so little by little Aaron is diverting the twerp's thoughts away from all the crazy things the brat might be thinking of Aaron and his mother.

"No, Nah! What the hell little bro, what's with you calm down a bit!!! I was just staring towards the kitchen that's all. After all, your mum went to make some coffee and I don't like bitter coffee. So I was thinking should I call for her and tell her to put some sugar in it or should I just grab the coffee and drink it, suffering the horrible bitter taste. That's all! so don't think of weird stuff, will you!!!" Aaron said, BS-ing his way out of this difficult situation he is in.

'Whew! That was a mouthful.' Aaron sighed feeling a bit tired.

He is not going to deny that he does kind of feel attracted to the woman.

But this was a bit weird for himself as in his previous life, Aaron was a single idiot who never fell in love.

So, in truth, he is kind of new to these kinds of feelings.

To be honest with himself, Aaron never felt attracted to anyone in his previous life.

Yeah, he generally preferred girls but no one caught his eyes.

But in this life, not only Aaron but also Nyx has fell victim to these newfound feelings.

And right now, because of 'his' experience from Nyx having these kinds of feelings? Aaron can tell what is going on with him.

Right now, Aaron just feels comfortable. It's not like, but attraction towards Choi Li Hwa.

And certainly, it's not love at first sight.

It's like a seed has been sown in his heart.

He feels attracted towards Choi Li Hwa and nothing more.

Aaron for the first time in his life doesn't know what to do.

(A/N: Yes, it's the first time for Aaron but not Nyx. As it has been said before, both have different feelings regarding some emotions. It will not change much, they will be the same but will have different personalities in a sense.)

As expected, Yong-Hyeon calmed down.

But he glared at Aaron before saying, "You better not have any thoughts about my mother, or else I will make your life a living hell!!"

Aaron rolled his eyes hearing Yong-Hyeon completely ignoring what the twerp said.

Soon, Choi Li Hwa came out from the kitchen with a tray on her hands.

She gave a cup of coffee to Aaron, a cup to Yong-Hyeon and had one for herself.

Aaron and Li Hwa talked about Yong-Hyeon for a while.

Sometime later, Yong-Hyeon feeling bored went to his room leaving the two of them alone.

Aaron and Li Hwa then talked about themselves, daily life etc etc.

Time flew by in a blink of an eye.

Two hours passed.

Until their talk was interrupted by a call from Aaron's phone.

Seeing the time, Aaron was surprised!

He didn't even notice that he was here for so long.

Sighing he reluctantly stood up and gave a smile to Li Hwa.

"I'm sorry, I can't believe I have stayed for so long!" Aaron said looking at the time.

"No, no it's okay! I had a good time, it's not often one gets to relax and have a relaxing conversation. It's alright really. Thank you once more for saving Yong-Hyeon from the bullies." Waving her hands Li Hwa replied to Aaron.

"Ahh, actually I moved here in this apartment building not so long ago. When Yong-Hyeon guided me here I was really surprised! What kind of fate is this? haha. I live downstairs with one of my best friends."

"Oh, Really! What a coincidence, really it looks like fate brought us here. "

"..." Aaron.

"..." Li Hwa.

~Awkward silence~

How did they talk for hours before? That now they can't even talk for a moment without being awkward?

'What the f*ck is happening?' both of them flipped a table in their mind.

"Umm, then I should go! Thank you for the coffee it was good."

"Yeah, your welcome!."

Then Aaron turned around and started walking to leave the apartment, Li Hwa following behind him.

Just as he was about to step outside the apartment, Yong-Hyeon came running and shouted.

"Wait!"

Turning back Aaron saw Yong-Hyeon was holding something on his hands.

"This is for you. Also, thank you for the ice cream!" Said Yong-Hyeon handing Aaron a purple box.

"Thank you and you're welcome!" Smiling Aaron took the box from Yong-Hyeon.

"You said you live downstairs, right?" Yong-Hyeon asked.

"Yeah, I live with my friend."

"Then can I come sometimes to hang out with you?" Yong-Hyeon said staring at Aaron's light green eyes.

"Yes, Of course, you can! " Replied Aaron.

Yong-Hyeon nodding turned back and made a run towards his room.

Aaron shook his head watching the little twerp dashing towards his room.

Turning to Li Hwa, Aaron gave a bright smile that stunned Li Hwa.

She was barely able to get a hold on herself.

"Then, bye I guess? I had a nice time talking with you."

"Yeah, me too. Bye then!" Smiling Li Hwa waved goodbye to Aaron.

Then slowly the door to the apartment shut off.

Aaron stood at the hallway alone.

He looked down on his left hand.

He tried to guess what kind of gift the little guy gave him.

Aaron thought for a second before he decided to open the box.

With a *click* sound the box was unlocked.

A *loud pop* was heard and a small metal ball sprang out hitting his right eye.

"ooouuucch!" Aaron moaned in pain holding his eye.

Annoyed, Aaron muttered out gritting his teeth.

"That damn little brat!!!"
