In Which Her Demon Boss Lips Look Kissable

Ana did not waste time in crossing the street and walking to the main gate of the mansion. She felt the letter she was about to post in her hands and quickly tucks it inside her bag. This would be for later. Surly Dmitiru wouldn't expect her to put him, whom she didnt even know over her opportunity to getting a job. She had even forgotten she needed to print out the email that was sent to her. But she felt it didnt matter. Surviving comes first. She took in deep breaths before pressing the bell and the security opened a little compartment in the gate.

"Afternoon, my name is Anastasia and I am here for an interview."

The security frowned. There was no vacancy at The Ressurrected yet. So he assumed that she must be here to look for trouble or beg for a place to sleep and food. He couldnt count how many peoples came here to do that. They would sometimes curse at them and blame them for their great misfortune. Humans. He was about to send her away when another security spoke.

"Did she say an interview? It must be the assistant designer position Miss Marcey posted. Does she have a print out?"

The first guard stared at her with disgust, "Do you have a print out human?"

Normally, Ana would have given him a befitting comeback but she was in desperate need of this job or she would be feeding on paper soon. Ana looked helpless. "Actially no. I am yet to print it out. You see I live just adjacent here, so I rushed over when I got the email for an interview."

Ana had thought she would have to beg the guard but instead he simply asks. "But you have the email on your phone right?" She quickly nods her head. "Do you mind passing it?" She stretches her old samsung to him. He returned it after few seconds and told her. "Just aminute." And made a call. "Yes this is the main gate. Section 3 on duty. Is this Miss Marcey? Yes. We have an Anastasia Brown here for an interview." He was quiet for a while befor laughing and hung up. Nervous Ana just stares at him. "Apoarently the email says to come for tbe interview seven tomorrow morning but you are here already."

Embarrassed, she quickly checks it and he was right. She was supposed to be here the following morning. "I am so sorry. I just rushed over. I am so sorry."

The guard waved it off and opend the gate. Informing her. "But it is okay. Miss Marcey says it isnt too late and you can come in for it if you so wish to."

Happy she couldnt hide her smile and walks into the building. Saying thank you to the guards she was directed to go to the first floor of the first building. Getting there, Ana greets the very beautiful lady who she suspects must be a demon.

"I am here for an interview for the post of an assistant designer. I was told I will be given directions here."

The female demon who was probably packing to get off work glance at her from head to toe before pointing behind her. Take the elevator to the south building and you will see a huge door that says, Miss Marcey. Go in there." Her tone was as if she was being forced to talk to Ana but she didnt kind. She just wanted the job. She could badass on her after she gets the job.

Ana who had worked here while the building was being constructed knew the in and out a bit. She knew taking the elevator would mean she would have to take more elevators and keep asking for directions before getting to her destination. So, she instead walks out of the door that says exit right behind the woman. The demon glares at her.

"Where do you think you are going? I said take the elevator."

Ana turns around with her hands on her waist and a riased brow. "The elevator? Really? I am heading to the south and you want me to keep asking around till it's too late and I can no longer take the interview right?" The demon was surprised and curses her in her mind.

"What arrogant being. Who brought this thing here?" She looks around the empty hall.

Ana takes step towards her and she takes another backward. She couldn't believe a scared one like this was also turned to a demon. "I worked here while this budling was constructed. I can definitely say I know here better than you do." With this she went ot of the hall leaving the you demon surprised. It wass the first time a human would talk to her like that after she had being changed.

Ana took the fastest way which was passing the decoration hallway for art pieces before maneuvering her way to the south. Once she saw the sign that says 'South' she went into the building and asks the lady she met.

"Good afternoon, Anastasia Brown for Miss Miss Marcey."

The demon look slightly friendly and quickly gave her directions. She took the elevator and indeed saw a door that had Miss Marcey on it. Knocking thrice she heard a soft voice that said. "Come in."

Entering the lush office, Ana wanted to star3 at the few dresses that were hanging around and marvel at the piece of art that was hung on the wall. She had almost lost herself in staring at the gorgeous dresses. Miss Marcey had to knock on the table to get her attention.

Feeling sorry she quickly went forward and greeted. "Goid Afternoon. I am Anastasia Brown."

Miss Marcey gave her a bright smile and glanced at her dressing. "Call me Marcey. I comment your boldness." She compliments. "You came in right after you got the email."

Ana felt embarrassed and her face looked flushed. "Oh..I feel stupid. I am so sorry."

Miss Marcey waved it off. "It is absolutely fine. Our boss likes that you are quite punctual and eager to work."

"Boss?"she repeats before realizing that there must be someone else behind this. Afterall 'The Resurrected'do belong to a man.

Miss Marcey points in her left and Ana folows her well manicured nail. And was faced with a man sitting in a chair. With his back to them. He seem to be engrossed in something and although she couldn't see his face, she knew he was focused on something in hishands. His slouched back was enough evidence for that.

"Boss..boss..boss...she is here." Miss Marcey softly calls and the man swirves his chair to face Ana but still had his face on the book in his hands.

"Good afternoon sir." She greeted. He raised his head to stare at her and his deep black orbs almost pulled her in. For a split second there, Ana felt as if she had traveled into another world where everything was spinning. She held her head and shut her eyes before opening them again.

"Are you good?" Miss Marcey questions out of surprise.

"Yes yes..I am so sorry."

The man was staring at her watching, her movement. The way she reacted to his stare at the way she touched her face as if to feel its temperature. Ana slowly rises her head to look at him again. He had an impressive nose. It was pencil pointed and his lips were too full but were plum. Probably the type she would call 'kissable'. He has a perfect jaw line that she felt could cut fabric smoothly than scissors and his lashes, they were still and looked somewhat shiny. He wasnt blinking when he stared at her. The pencil in his hand didnt stopscribbling something on the paper while he just shamelessly had his eyes on her.

His black eyes...they were capitvating. Enough to make her still.

The energy she was getting from this man and his aura, it was too obvious that he wasnt human.

Great! Her boss is a demon himself.
