What they did not know is that although they had both seen cruel things, they had not seen the method of torture that was displayed behind the third door. Apparently that is where they took those they were interrogating or owed. Maybe even a traitor.
What they saw in the torture room, several dismembered bodies on the floor, shelf full of jars with internal organs of humans, and some unrecognizable. In the corners of the room, several cages stacked with rats of all sizes, covered in blood.
Not to mention the table at the back of the room where there is a completely naked man, his skin color purple, and a chair in the center where there is a woman sitting, naked with open chest and visible intestines, at a glance you could see that both died in the worst possible way.
It was disgusting and something they never want to see again. But not even the occasional torture of the Vikings can have a drop of what they witnessed.
