Amelia's POV

Sighing, I tried to change the subject, "Ah, didn't you want to talk about something important?"

Hearing that, Liam's expression changed as if he remembered something important. Wait, did he forget about that? Didn't he bring me here to talk about it though?

Well, it's not like I can blame him. I was the one who had fallen asleep.

"Oh, it skipped out of my mind." He smiled sheepishly at me, "Wait, here, I'll be right back."

Saying that Liam got up, put his cup down, and quickly went upstairs. I simply sat there and waited for Liam to come back as I sipped my chocolate milkshake while munching the cookies. Even though it was a quick late-night snack, I liked everything that Liam prepared for me.
