The Rat
A few hours later, in which Harry and the Weasleys got acquainted, Dumbledore was back. Only this time he was accompanied by three other people. One had a very formal attire, who introduced herself as Amelia Bones, was from the Ministry of Magic. There was one lanky guy who was wearing some rather shabby clothes and looked as if he had recently been sick. He introduced himself as Remus Lupin. The other was a tall teenage with red hair, who he deemed to be Percy. Percy was holding Scabbers in his hand.
"Well Harry if you will.", Dumbledore said.
Harry took Scabbers and held it up for Remus.
"Well, Remus I guess you would recognise who this is. ", Harry said while giving Scabbers to Remus. Remus looked at Scabbers closely and everyone watched his face go from shocked to horror. Remus looked at Dumbledore, "How is this...But he died..."
Dumbledore's fear were proved right as he watched Remus.
"So what is this about Albus? You said you got some news about You-know-who and his supporter",
"It would happen to be so, I'm afraid Amelia we made a rather grave mistake and put a wrong person in Azkaban", Dumbledore replied grimly. He took Scabbers and set him on the floor while pointing his wand at him. Seconds later Peter stood where the rat was.
"Well hello Wormtail, long time no see", Remus snarled.
Wormtail just stood there speechless, facing Remus, Dumbledore, Amelia and Harry.
"Come on now Wormtail, it's impolite to not return the greetings to an old friend. Did Voldemort not teach you manners? Tut-tut-tut and here I thought he was a great leader for the purebloods. ", Harry said sneering.
"Harry, you are alive! Remus, my old friend, it's so great to see you," Wormtail said as he started to walk towards Harry with his arms stretched. With a flick of his hand, Harry sent Wormtail crashing into the opposite wall.
"Oh I'm so sorry Wormtail. I seem to have lost control of myself there. I just didn't want the hands of a person who killed my parents to touch me. Well after all you did betray them didn't you?"
All the other members in the room were shocked to see Harry perform such magic without a wand. Harry snapped his fingers and Wormtail was lifted in the air while clutching his neck as if an invisible hand was holding him by the neck.
"Harry....I'm innocent. Sirius was the one who betrayed your parents, he tried to kill me.", Wormtail choked.
"Ohh my my, you have a rather interesting story, old friend", Harry's face had an evil look. He snapped his fingers again and Wormtail screamed in pain.
"Now, let's be more truthful Wormtail. You should know that it's not nice thing to lie. How about we try again?", Harry said as Wormtail screamed louder.
"You have to understand Harry I never meant it! You-know-who has very strong powers that you cannot comprehend. If I disobeyed him, he would have killed me..", Wormtail said in agony.
Harry snapped and Wormtail's screaming stopped. "Oh my, you are afraid of calling out your master's name Wormtail?
Harry jumped at a snarl and was just about to turn when Remus jumped at Wormtail, punching him.
"THEN YOU SHOULD HAVE DIED. YOU SHOULD HAVE DIED AS WE WOULD HAVE DONE FOR YOU!", Remus bellowed as he continued to punch Peter and would have continued to do so if Amelia and Dumbledore didn't pull him of.
"YOU SHOULD HAVE DIED THAN BETRAY YOU FRIENDS YOU LITTLE SHIT", Remus shouted as he struggled to get away from Amelia and Dumbledore.
"Well, Professor, I think I should leave this to you now. I do hope this is enough to get Sirius out.", Harry turned to Dumbledore.
"Rest assured Harry, Sirius will be released by the end of the day", Dumbledore said with a very serious tone, while looking at Wormtail as if he would murder him then and there. Then he turned to Harry,
"I believe we still need to have a rather intriguing conversation between us Harry about this information and your abilities"
Harry sighed,, "Ah yes Professor, I think I would do that at Hogwarts if you are free."
"Very well, Harry. Let's leave it till then. Now let me send you back to you Aunts, I assume they would be quite worried.", Albus started. To his surprise Harry held up his hand.
"That won't be necessary Professor. I will get there myself, but I would urge you to proceed with Sirius's case instead", Harry said then turned to Amelia and Remus who was crying now.
"Madam Bones, Remus, I believe we will meet again", Harry said with a courteous bow.
"Stop right there Mr. Potter"
"Madam Bones, you have something you want to ask?"
"Did you use The Cruciatus Curse on Wormtail, Mr. Potter? If you did I am sorry but I'll have to arrest you right now"
"Oh, I apologise Ma'am. It's not the cruciatus curse ma'am. It's just a spell that makes the users mind think that they are experiencing large amount of pain. Something like an illusion if you will"
Amelia nodded in shock. He then turned to Mr. and Mrs. Weasley and waved them goodbye before apparating with a small pop.
Albus, Remus and Amelia were shocked beyond anything when they saw a 10 year old child disapparate in front of them.
"Albus...he...", Amelia couldn't find words as she turned to Dumbledore.
"I think the magic world will be turned upside down in a few years Amelia. At least from what we just witnessed.", Albus said with a grim face. They then turned to Mr. and Mrs. Weasley bidding farewell before they too apparated away.
Mr. and Mrs. Weasley were confounded at the happenings and turned to Percy, who was equally shocked at finding that his pet was an animagus and a follower of the Dark Lord.
They both ushered him to sit and have a meal before he went back to Hogwarts. Trying to get over the happenings of the evening in front of them.
Harry reappeared in his room with a small pop and smiled to himself. At least he managed to get Sirius out. He then proceeded downstairs to check if Vernon had returned from Diagon Alley, which turned out to be negative. Petunia however asked him about what he was researching, to which he said that he was researching about Apparation in more detail as he thought that it was not researched properly and had a great deal of area in which it could be improved.
