The Birthday Party 2

Evianna glared at her sister. "Yes but only because I heard that some very young and important men are going as well" Evianna said with a mischievous smile.

"Who are they?" Fiorella asked casually.

"I didn't get the entire deets...but I know that Calix Branson will be coming" Evianna answered as she ransacked her sister's wardrobe.

"Calix?" Fiorella asked curiously.

Evianna stopped what she was doing and turned to look at her sister in disbelief.

"Really?"

Fiorella shrugged her shoulders.

"How can you not know the most wealthy and single bachelor in this city?" Evianna asked.

"Is he on your hit list" Fiorella said as she stopped her sister from rummaging through her wardrobe.

"Oh no...I can't handle a man like that. He's way out of my league...but your other sister thinks she can" Evianna answered.

"Well...since she was chosen for him, she has to learn how to handle on him" Fiorella said she put on a casual outfit.

"You're going out?" Evianna asked.

"Yeah...I have to work" Fiorella answered as she walked towards the door. She paused and turned around

"Don't you dare damage this place. "

"Whatever...Byebye" Evianna said as she pushed her sister out and closed the door.

Fiorella worked at a grocery store in the morning and worked as a waitress at a club in the night. As the daughter of the Gates family, one would expect her to live the life of a rich, young lady but that was not the case.

Fiorella had two sisters and she was second of the triplets. Her sister Aurelia was the gem of the family. Her parents Celia and Castor Gates wanted to have one child, but fate had already decided for them by giving them triplets. When Aurelia was born, the entire process was smooth but things got complicated when Fiorella and Evianna were born. Fiorella and Evianna's birth almost caused Celia to loose her life. Even though Celia was still alive, the damage had already been done. She could no longer give birth. When Celia and Castor found out that they could no longer have any other children, they began to worry. Castor was the first son in his family and the heir. When he found out that he was going to have triplets and they were all girls, he didn't mind it because he thought he could also have a son who would take after him in the future but all his hopes went down the drain. Though his father didn't remove him from his position as the heir but there was still a possibility that his position would be given to his younger brother who at that time had a son.

His position was now under threat and there was nothing he could do. He couldn't have an affair or marry another wife because that wouldn't sit well with Celia's family. It might cause conflict between the two families. Castor was caught between a rock and a hard place.
