Friendship

The next day, even though we had graduated but we still had to go to school to take care of some files. Jefri as usual picked me up and when we arrived at school we went straight to the roof of the old school which was abandoned and unused and is one of the memories for the two of us during these times.

"Is there an event today?" I asked Jeffrey.

" There is not any." Jefri replied.

"I thought you wanted to hang out with your friends." I said.

Jefri smiled and then stood up

"Well, indeed, there will be a get-together, the moment is good for the gang celebration." Said Jeffrey.

"Where's the celebration?" I asked

Jefri then explained where he was going and with whom and what he was going to do with his friends but then something sounded behind us. Me and Jefri turned around but there was no one.

"Probably a school stray cat." Said Jeffrey.

"Let's go to the teacher's office to finish the files before going home." Jefri stood up and held out his hand to me who was still sitting still. I then took Jefri's hand and we went down the stairs of the building and headed for the teacher's office to take care of the graduation documents.

Suddenly Ani appeared "Today's fan, come help me, come to my house after I go home to take care of the files."

Jefri who was silent then looked at me and I couldn't refuse Ani's invitation because she was one of my best friends at school and I just agreed. Jefri then nodded and left me with Ani.

It turned out to help Ani until late at 7 pm at her house. I finally got home today planning to take the bus. As I walked towards the bus stop, I heard faint voices among the trees in the park near Ani's house and I could see Michael's figure talking to someone.

"What do you mean today? You will repay him." Michael asked the person.

"HIHIHI, yes, today is the time for revenge. Thank you for explaining where Jefri is now. It turns out that you are not wrong, you are the best spy we have ever had in return, when we get rid of Jefri you can become a full leader in the Saint gang and we will unite as one under my command." The man then headed to his motorbike and left Michael behind.

"What…Jefri…Revenge, Genk Leader…" I suddenly paused and then recalled the figure of the man who was talking to Michael and his jacket was exactly the same as the three big boys who were chasing me yesterday. I then looked at my cellphone, this is the same date where the mass media reported the death of Jefri who was lying helplessly covered in blood without knowing who and how it happened while I could only watch it on the television screen. I just remembered because I was too calm and comfortable with the two of us together to forget the date of today's important events.

"Is it possible for this incident to happen again…Doesn't it matter if in the past maybe there was also Michael who helped them make Jefri lose his life. Was the voice on the roof the voice of Michael who was eavesdropping on us. No….It can't happen again." My mind speaks.

Then I approached Michael who was still looking up at the sky and then I slapped him hard.

" What are you doing? Why are you spying on us? Why are you working with them? Do you really want Jefri…" Suddenly I didn't continue my words because it felt so tight to say that Jefri would be gone forever from this life.

Michael just kept silent and looked at me "Why?...what's wrong if I tell them?...Jefri has stolen a lot of valuable things from me."

"You don't know what will happen to Jefri he will die." I shouted.

Michael fell silent and started to say "Are you from the future."

I couldn't help but take a deep breath and then asked "What's your real goal?"

"If you only knew Fan, Jefri and I used to be friends. He has snatched everything that is precious from me from snatching the gang, snatching my father's affection for me, snatching the attention of friends, and also snatching you from me. Why can't I take revenge."

Michael then told me everything that they used to be friends since elementary school, in the last year of junior high school they built the motorcycle gang together since the death of Jefri's sister and then they both recruited several people with the same mission and goals until some members wanted a leader among them but the figure of Jefri who was chosen because for them Jefri is very wise and cares more than Michael. "Pick up,,, Jeff." I said.

Several times I called Jefri's number but it was in an inactive condition. I suddenly thought that the one thing I can do now is to meet Jefri to change everything.
