Troubles on road

"So what are we going to do now." Yamada asked.

"Hmm, for now let's fill up with petrol in this bus" I responded.

"Does anyone know the nearest convenient store near here that don't near the main street. Please raise your hand" I said out loud.

There was a short silence.

"I … I do " Kawamoto stammered and quietly raise her hand low.

"Then can you lead us to that store."

"Yes but is it dangerous now. Why don't we better stay here." Kawamoto added.

"That's a problem Kawamoto. We don't have much time. The more we stay here the more dangerous we will face"

"And beside, there won't be much food left for us if we are slow" I said it with serious voice.

"But it's still dangerous" she still hesitated with my idea.

"Don't worry about that. I will the one will go. The only thing I scare that we don't have fuel and food anymore" I offered this idea.

"It's still …"

"Shh. Don't worry about me. I have lived long enough to judge the situation. I will run if it turns bad" I tried to coax her.

They were still scared what is happening now. If they weren't scared, I would offer to go as a team.

'What a life when I have to carry team.' I sighed heavily inwardly.

After 20 minutes sitting on bus, I was finally arrived here. Not everyone agreed with this but they still went along with me. And Shido sensei tried to pick me during this moment but his words no longer had any effects.

'Bad reputation sure is a thing annoying' I thought.

At least I didn't waste any my precious time with him. Instead, I asked Shizuka sensei how to ride this bus and surprisingly she agreed to teach me. From my first experience with a car in school, I learned a lot from that mistakes. I had to adjust the thing called gear level before riding or else it will happen again like the way I did in school.

Anyway, since I promised that I will the one will go so I had to do it. I wanted to prove everyone that I'm a reliable person. I stepped out of bus, took fuel hose and inserted it in the bus's gas can. I wondered why this fuel hose was so long since it's normal that the more it's short the more you have more money. But money went to manager.

Of course I forgot one thing, this thing needed money since it automatic gas station. and it was very unlucky for me since I didn't have any cent on me now.

"Jean what's wrong" I was taken aback by sudden voice.

"Oh Rei, what are you doing here?" I asked her with gentle tone.

"I think you have some problems so I come here to help you."

"Nah. It's not a big problem. I will grab some money inside. And this is …" I pointed at the spiky black hair boy going next to her.

"This is Takashi. My childhood friend" she introduce him to me.

"Welcome sir Takashi" I tried to make a joke. I didn't know why but he looked like he was irritated by me.

'Oh come on. I'm just trying to make the mood lighten why you guys are serious'

"Then can you go inside and grab some money for this gas thing to fuel the bus." I quickly changed the topic since I felt something bad coming.

"But it violates the law, Jean"

"Don't worry. Nobody have time to care this matter. Now it's time for martial law" I gave her a fact.

"It's still the wrong action for us, students"

"Don't worry again. I will talk to Japan president about this" I said with a humor tone of voice.

They now looked at me as if I was some kind of crazy people.

"Hmm. Enough for talk, just go grab money and I will grab other necessary thing for us" I dismissed the talk and went to gas store.

I went inside still carrying with my wrench.

The store was on mess. This must have been people do this thing. According to the trace, it was still new.

I put that aside my mind and took the bag. I took all the food and drink that I saw in my sights. Because I know in future, this thing will become scarce resources.

Then I went to other section.

"What to take. This bat or this golf stick or" I tried to evaluate two object.

"One, two, three, …" I gazed at cleaver on the floor.

"Nevermind, who care, just take it all" I shuddered my shoulder.

"I wonder what are those two doing now." I was wandering aimlessly in store.

Suddenly, I heard the scream from outside.

"It's Rei voice" I realized in least than second.

I rigidly dashed forwards and opened the door.

I could see that Rei were hold by a thug. He seemed like he was not in his mind.

And I could see Takashi clench his hand in angry.

"Rei, what's going on" This is an absurd question since the scene had already told that. But that wasn't my purpose. What I want is that thug answer this instead.

"You silly girl. Don't see what I am doing" he replied why holding Rei so hard that made her struggle.

"I have just grabbed a fucking beautiful girl. She have a nice boobs. Right that boy over there" He licked at Rei's face.

Takashi gazed angrily at him while I was observing the situation.

This kind of thing made me want to hack him. It seemed like his head lose some screws but this time I was not going to fix him.

"I killed my parents and my kid brother and sister. And you can see that I was colder than ice without shred of decency " he laughed maniac.

"..."

"What are you trying to do, bitch?" he threatened me.

"Hahaha" I laughed out loud while hugging my abdomen.

"You bitch. What are you laughing at" he was agitated by my laugh.

"No no. It's just that your way of talk like fourth rate villain in manga that I used to read." I raised my hand to sweep my tear.

"You know. The kind that only appears in 4 papers" I explained for him.

"You are fucking pissing me off." he said loudly.

His voice already attracted zombies coming here. I could hear the roar of zombies.

"You. Put that bag down and raise your hands or I will kill you like I kill my parents" he pointed knife as a sign to threaten me.

"Whew, whew. What I have to say. Sure majesty" I put the bag down under my foot and raise my hands.

"Kick that bag to me" he added.

"hmm No I can't. I'm just the weak girl in this trepidation situation. Can you help me Takashi?" I said with tearful eyes.

"Just kick that bag to me, bitch"

"Sorry I can't. I'm scared that I will get my feet sprain if I do so. Can you not coming here to get by yourself" I whispered and pretended that I was a timid girl.

He now looked very pissed off.

"You staying away from this" he pointed his knife at Takashi.

Then he made his way to me.

"You will come with me." he tugged my hair.

"You know why god makes man differ from woman" I smiled at him.

I used my leg kicking at his ball with all my strength making him stop speaking.

"AHAHAHAHAHAH" he cried out loud.

"You … You …" He muttered something that I can't hear it clearly.

I kicked him so hard that I saw bubbles coming out from his mouth.

"Rei, Takashi. You two go first. He cry like a baby asking for mom's milk. Less than a second, this place will be surrounded by zombies" I paid no attention to him.

"Rei, no time to stare at him. Let's the rest do it" I took my bag while zombies was making their way towards the thugs.

"Yes, Rei. Just ignore him" Takashi reminded her.

Rei seemed to have some frustration but she decided that she have to run and Takashi ran beside her.

"You have to save me" he was begging me.

"Why" I asked with emotionless voice.

"Because you have to" I was crying since he realized zombies was very near him.

"No thank. My hands is full"

"Go away. Go away from me" he waved his arm aimlessly as the first zombie bit at him.

"Like I said, fourth rate villain" I continued my run without looking back.

"AHAHAHAHAHAHAH"

I walked pass all the zombies since zombies were very slow.

I took a lot of pluck to pass through the crowd of zombie coming to the bus.

I ran until the bus which was running before me.

"Jean. jump in" it was Saya saying that.

With that, I took all my strength to jump on bus.

And I was successfully doing that. I needed to note that I had just jumped at the running bus.

"Jean, are you alright. We just hear that you were attacked by a thug" Saya seemed to care my safety.

"Not a big problem. Just like passing the street" I dusted some dirt off my clothes.

She behaved like this because of how I interacted with her all the time on bus.

She knew that my name wasn't Jean Sophia but didn't say it loud. Instead, she agreed with me that Shido sensei mustn't be our leader.

"So while I was going, are there any problems occuring" I adjusted my voice.

"While you were going, Shido sensei make a fuss that you won't come back and suggest that we have to abandone you" Saya said with angry face.

"It's that so" I glanced at Shido sensei who was staring at me aggressively.

"It seems like you and I shouldn't be together" I murmured.

I put the bag down and came to Shido sensei with my wrench.

"Sensei, I heard that you are going to abandon me. How kind of you to do that to your student"

"AGAIN" I stressed this word for everyone to hear.

"You are just a student" his face was darkened by my remark.

"Yeah. I'm a student with a wrench" I raised bloody wrench before his eyes.

"You knew what I have just witnessed"

"I saw the guy like you died out there. He had a painful death. You must be jealous to not be out there" I mocked at him.

"After all this, you still rejected me" Shido straightened his back to make him taller more dominated.

But this action proved uselessly as Yamada stepped in front of me.

"Leave her alone. I can't bear with you anymore" Yamada said for me.

And everyone from the first row started to stand against him.

"Enough with this. I have heard your bullshit enough" Kohta cocked his crafted gun.

"Wait. We need to solve this as an educated people" Shido sensei tried to reason

"I think that you don't seem reliable at all" Saeko raised her wooden sword.

I was silently whooping and hollering inside my head.

'So this is what feelings to be a boss. How great'

"Don't overthinking this. I do this because I don't like him" Saeko said in cold voice.

"Yeah. I know that"

"So sensei. What is your choice" I asked triumphantly.

Shido sensei ground his teeth in angry.
