"Jean, Jean,wake up. It's morning already." A woman's voice said.

Opposite to the call of that voice, I shrank more deeper into the blanket. I curled the blanket and rolled to other place.

"Give me 5 more minutes." I said weakly.

"Jean, wake up. Today is a important day. My father wait for you in the hall." the voice changed to urgent whisper.

Having heard what a voice said for a short period, Jean finally gave a reply.

"Okay, you got me. You just leave me here and I will wake up immediately" I raised my hand to show that I understand her.

"Okay, my father wait you down there." Accompanying with that, a sound of slamming door rang out.

"She must be enthused with this"

After Saya was left, I immediately sat up. Dazed, I tried to look surround. It seemed like I was on a luxurious bed. Squinting at the gray thing, the fog began to lift. It appeared that the armor that I used to fight zombies.

"I remember now. While fighting the undead, the armor was out of energy in the middle of battle so I must control armor with my pure strength. It's a tiresome experience." I stretched my arm to relax my numb bone.

Then, I made a clumsy bee-line to the armor. The combatant suit stained with blood was cleaned by someone. As long as the armor is clean, I'm fine with that.

I looked at the bedside clock but the clock was dead from EMP so I had to look outside. The sky was dark, the fog was covering the yard. Without looking closer, I can image that people was having their memory for the fallen.

The fight ended with many brave person died. Although zombies are weak, slow, I still see this as a great achievement for those people who always run from reality. I appreciate their effort to survive.

And for who ran away in battle, Saya's father seemed to give them an appropriate punishment.

Now everything is back to normal. People now had gritty to overcome their own enemy.

Nonetheless, I still went down to see Saya's father. To discuss that I will leave here in near future.

I had been thinking about this for a while. In the end, I chose to go outside to discover the secret of this pandemic.

After all, I had a mission that system gave me needed to be complete so that I can go to other world. On the other hand, I can just stay lazy here to death but this choice is somewhat plain and boring for me.

I'm aware of how difficult of this mission. Technically, I don't have any clue to investigate further so I must find a new one.

Today, I promise Saya's father that I will provide some my technology so that this shelter can improve stable and he will provide for me some secret important places for me. Thing like this should investigate government first. To find all secret country or secret lab, I already have a hack skill. The only thing I'm afraid that is all data was deleted.

The disaster this time had many holes that I can't explain like why troop lose land easily before weak zombies, the government collapses so fast. Before that, I assumed the government was run with potato so I didn't care but now, I do care.

I adjusted my suit and went to Souichiro's official room.

While I was on my way, a lot of people looked at me with admiration. However, some of them was looking at me with disdain. This didn't affect me much. I have already familiar with this long ago.

Of course, some children gave a gift to me as a thank. As a polite person, I accepted all since I will no longer be here in future.

Just a short time for walking, I experienced many kind of affection and hatred.

And now, I stood before the door. The person inside is Saya's father, Souichiro Takagi. Taking a deep breath, I entered the door with stoic face.

The conversation was processing very smoothly. I had provided all blueprint of weapon and ammo. He also provided me all secret lab that he knows. With the map that he gave me, I will depart tomorrow.

However, the only problem is that I will go with Saya and her friends. This bothered me a lot. I don't know it was Saya's idea or her's parents idea but I'm fine with that. I will just give them gun and ammo and they will automatically solve by themselves. Easy piece.

If it were a past, Saya would rather stay here with her parents. Many part of the problem now was my fault. I believe so. I realized that my combatant suit have some influenced to them. They thought that I had the strongest weapon so it's okay to leave their safe of daughter in my care.

Speaking of my armor, someone tried to steal it but useless. Later, that person got punished. They watched my performance so of course, they want to have it. They think they can control armor and control this place, how naive. You want to control it, you must have microchips like the one was engraved into my body. If not, you can move the armor with pure strength but you can't control the energy inside it.

To make them less greedy, I said to them that armor was out of energy so it can't operate properly.

I'm glad that Saya's father don't mention anything about this suit. The only engineer in this place praised how beautiful this thing and asked me "Can you create one for me?"

To his disappointment, I said I picked up not I created as a agile way to deny. After that, he didn't ask any further more. It's not like I'm selfish. It's just that my only advantage in this is knowledge about future weapon. If I just provide recklessly, I won't know what future hold. Strong thing must save for me first. Beside, I taught them to craft gun and ammo.

Back to topic, I go too far this time.

Another reason that I can thought is that the rest of Saya friends want to find their relative. For example, Rei want to find her parents while Takashi want to find his mother. I knew this because they always mentioned this and for the rest like Kohta and Saeko, I don't know their purpose but I'm sure that they don't harm me. As long as they complete my task, then they are free to do anything they want.

I now had a side job, babysitter. Before we go, we are going to join the party to celebrate the victory.

The party is going to be held this lunch. It's a big barbecue and I love barbecue.

"Are you going to join the party, Jean?" Rei asked me.

"Yes, I will" I replied with kind smile.

"That's great Jean" Takashi commented.

"Jean, that is a great combatant suit. I saw your battle and I was hooked with that. With one swing, you can send down numerous zombie. Where did you get this?" Kohta enthused talking about my performance.

"Who is the really you, Jean" Saeko asked with mysterious aura.

"I'm glad that you all enjoy the show but let's save the question in the end of party. For now, just carpe diem only this day" I suggested.

"Yes. It's not like we will party in future" Saya agreed with me.

I opened the door and enjoyed with other survivors.

"It's going to be fun" I commented.
