A Place To Stay

After Raynor destroyed last runic formation and dropped on a boulder to sit and rest, the stupid headache continued to drain him mentally, Xia Qingyue looked at him "...You should come with me Raynor, you don't have anywhere else to go..."

He wanted to roll his eyes, as it was very obvious, but he simply nodded and got up "Well then lead the way Qingyue... " She nodded and they started to walk toward Floating Cloud City.

"So tell me what do you like to do when you are not cultivating?" Qingyue almost missed her step hearing such question... In the world of cultivation, such questions almost never come up...

"Reading... sometimes cooking... and you?" Raynor simply nodded then started to think about his hobbies which he realised he won't be able to do ... but then again he received 3 overpowered experiences from three deities

"Reading, helping around my house..." this caused her to look at him more as he wasn't lying" Then I am good at medicine, blacksmithing, and rune making which in turn make them my hobbies, apart from those I loved to watch something similar to 'theatre' acting ... I will show you one day as it is extremely advanced in my world... " Qingyue nodded she would love to see his world, she has a feeling its extremely different from hers.

"... I am sure I will have a chance to see your world... " Raynor simply smiled, but inside his mind, he would already daydream to see her in sexy modern clothes but his stupid migraine doesn't allow to have those daydream at least for now.

"Yeah, you will... I am going to make sure, besides my parents would love to see you " Qingyue stopped for a second she realised that Raynor has parents... and she doesn't know how his world works!, she started to get nervous... but then she remembered she has a year! so she so somewhat calmed down, and they continued walking.

Both of them passed city gates... it finally hit Raynor that he was not home... and that he is very far away from it.

They walked through streets and people were dressed in simple clothes like linear, or cotton Raynor has no idea in truth as blacksmithing experiences don't include that stuff, their power was much lower than even his [Seven of Elementary Profound], but on second thought he never had this many eyes on him it, made him nervous.

"... Not used to be in the centre of attention?" Raynor snorted at her question " No... not really, they looking at me because of you and my clothes..." she didn't say anything and showed the way to her family mansion.

Arriving at imposing gates Raynor saw it's written in Chinese 'Xia' which made him open mouth realising he actually understands Chinese! Then he remembered all conversations he had today, and all of them were in Chinese!

"Are you okay?" Raynor snapped out, and looked at those beautiful eyes which had concern in the " I am fine... I realised something... I will tell you later... now let's go meet your Father I hope he can spare a room for me... " Qingyue wanted to ask how he knows about her father but she thought it was a simple guess.

"Follow me, let me talk for now... and don't mention about our deal! Not now at least..." Raynor raised his hand in defeat "Your house your rules Qingyue..." she nodded, and started to walk towards guards protecting the entrance to her family mansion.

"Young miss you are back! Everyone worried that something happened! You left without telling anyone!" Qingyue lowered her head little bit "My apologies... Is father home?" Guard nodded at her question.

"Yes Master Xia is home, he is in his study... young miss you should see him post haste" Qingyue nodded "I will ... there was a reason why I left, I will speak with my father." Then she pointed at Raynor " this is master Raynor he is expert in Medicine and Blacksmithing he lost his cultivation and now he has to restart it, if you didn't noticed he broke to [Seven of Elemental Profound] today... I need to speak with father about our guest..." Guards looked at Raynor saw his unique clothes, they have heard how eccentric healers can be, but blacksmiths AND Medicine? Well, heavens bless them, they don't want to be anywhere near them.

"Of course miss!" they let Qing Yue and Raynor pass, as they entered Raynor saw how big the front lawn is...

'Chinese and their over top love for big things...' Raynor in his whole life never saw lawn this big, but then again this planet is massive.

They walked pavement made of stone, towards the entrance to the main mansion, once inside they walked maze-like corridors, arriving at one set of doors.

Qingyue knocked on the doors, both of them heard 'enter' and Qingyue opened them, inside there was quite a big solar, with desk in middle and a bookshelf full of scrolls and books, on another side there was a coffee table with soft chairs.

Qingyue walked over towards her father, Raynor slowly followed her.

"Yue'er you back I was about to send search team after you! But it seems it was not needed! Not only that but you brought company with you..." Xia Hongyi looked at her daughter's company, he can see the boy is eccentric because of clothes he is wearing... his merchant eyes can't discern materials but they should be expensive from looks of it.

"Father meet Raynor Valeron... he is blacksmith and healer, and he comes from VERY far away... and his name goes first then his family name... " Xia Hongyi noticed how his daughter on purpose prolonged word 'VERY' which is something only in their family could understand.

"I see... So Yue'er you wish for him to stay in our home for some time?" She slowly nodded "Yes as he is regaining his Cultivation I wish to extend our hospitality... " Xia Hongyi could only nod as it's the first time Qingyue asked something of him.

"Very well, Master Raynor welcome to Xia Mansion! You may take one of guest pavilion's... One of the servants will show... " Qingyue decided to interrupt " Father I will show him personally..." Xia Hongyi simply nodded, but inside he was shell-shocked as his daughter never showed such pro-activity before, he was even more interested in this young man.

"Very well then Yue'er he is all yours, don't forget dinner will be soon..." She nodded, did a simple bow and left with Raynor.

"Well it went better then I thought..." Raynor said quietly, but Qingyue heard him.

"... You think too much, my father saw your clothes, and I vouched for you, it was more than enough... " He nodded, but he never expected to see her talk this much, in the book she is more of the silent type, maybe... his presence gave her some sort of hope?

He shrugged his shoulders " Okay then, show me the way... " she nodded and started to walk towards the guest pavilion, Qingyue showed some other rooms and what there is, a library filled with all sort of scrolls and books none of them related to cultivation.

Other rooms like storage, full of merchandise, were not boring but his headache didn't allowed to enjoy much.

A few minutes later they were staying in front of gates "... this is where you will be staying, dinner is in around an hour or so, I will come to pick you up... " she did a small bow and vanished with her profound movement technique.

" Well... let's see what I have..." Raynor sighed, today was one day hell of a day, he entered through gates, there was house like building.

'For real people! It's a freaking house!' He shook his head and entered through main doors, there was a living room, a study, and a bathroom and of course bedroom with double bed...

Raynor dropped into bed and simply closed his eyes and as if someone pulled out a plug he was out...

Xia Qingyue appeared in her room, she quickly walked over to her bed and dropped herself face-first into her pillow, she still trying to process what happened today, meeting someone so different was one unique experience.

But what's got her so worked up was the 'deal' they made, not some simple deal, neither its cultivation related... NO !!! It's about seduction which she has zero experience even her sect doesn't have the experience needed for this!

"Why he has to be so difficult !" she said to herself she rolled over on her back and she took off her veil and simply stared at room sealing

She didn't even notice, but few hours passed and she heard doors knocking.

"Young miss dinner is ready !" She got off her bed and walked over to her doors " I am coming... I will bring Master Raynor to dining room " Maid nodded and walked away while Qingyue walked towards guest pavilion

She slowly entered into guest pavilion house and started checking rooms all of them were empty, so she went to the bedroom where she saw him out cold.

She thought for a moment to wake him up, but decided to leave him be...

"... I will be back tomorrow" she slowly closed the doors and walked away.
