'Sorry about the scare earlier.'

Oscar jumped, his back hitting the wall. Not again. I thought I was imagining it.

'well I'm afraid you weren't.'

"wait, how did...who are you?"

'I told you who I was.'

Oscar tried to start to calm himself down. "Where are you?"

'nowhere. And everywhere.'

none of this made sense. "What's happening? Why can I hear you."

'because...you are like me.'

He shook his head. "I don't understand."

'I know. Just, give me a chance and I can try to explain.'

Oscar didn't see much harm in that. He had a bit of free time, his aunt likely wouldn't be done for a few hours yet, so he nodded. "Ok."

But he was shaking his head by the end of it. "No. No, I don't believe you. No. No, Stay away..."

'away from you?' There was slight chuckled. 'That might be hard considering our auras are now combined'

'Oscar...I wish it didn't have to be this way. But neither of us really have a chose any more.'

'We have to go to the city. I wish I could take more time with this, but we may already be running out of time.'

"No, I can't go to the city." My parents died there.

'There are people out there who need us.'

"No." He crouched down to the floor, his head in his hands. "Leave me alone."
