Chapter 2

"Are you sure that was a smart idea?" Remus asked Harry, shortly after he made a call to the PM. They had had a difficult conversation, since they'd not informed him about what the Americans were doing. It was technically none of his business, but Harry, Remus and a lot of their people were still considered British Citizens. They hadn't declared independence or anything, even though Mars was considered foreign soil with its own laws, since that was the point of establishing Harmony.

The PM had appreciated the information and knew he couldn't force them to give him specifics, but knowing Harry, and what Marauders Inc. and especially the Wolf Brigade could do, he didn't doubt that they were in safe hands. He'd be encouraging them to keep an eye, if they weren't doing it already. The Knights of the Realm were already protecting it, after all. He'd take his displeasure out on the President and this Lieutenant General Hammond running the Stargate program. They were putting the entire planet at risk, messing with hostile alien powers!

"We needed to make an appearance at some point." Harry said. "They are getting into more and more trouble. I could have disabled that device myself, but then they would have started obsessing over who, or what had done it. That device has been working for a long time. To think that it randomly shut down just then, would have been preposterous. The locals would likely think their 'god' was doing them a favour, or taking pity on them. I don't want to encourage that."

"And what of the people?" Remus asked.

"They've been able to support themselves for a long time, living such short lives, I suspect they'll be fine without us." Harry said. "We shouldn't interfere in every culture we find. We can keep an eye, though."

"Agreed." Remus said, with a sigh. Something about the wolf liked the idea of finding new land to explore. His first instinct was to claim some of the land, but they'd discussed this. If they found an inhabitable planet without people living on it, they'd set up a secondary base, with a Transport Tunnel between the two. They'd put too much effort into Harmony, to simply abandon it, though. Harry was loathe to expand until he'd seen Harmony fully established. Its proximity to Earth was also a factor. While they were there, they could help protect it.

"Where are you with the detection system upgrades?" Remus asked.

"Oh, that's been finished for a while." Harry said. "It wasn't all that difficult to simply add the feature to the StellarNet. Anything moves into the Solar system, we'll know about it, as long as they're not invisible, that is."

"Is that a possibility?" Remus asked.

"Definitely." Harry said. "But unlikely. From what we've found out, the Goa'uld like to be seen coming. They rule with fear, not actual power."

"Terrorists." Remus nodded. Why was it always terrorists?

"I don't think it's a foreign idea to any culture. Harry said. "If you are capable of fear, you are capable of being ruled by it."

OOO

It took a couple of days, before Remus received a call.

"General Hammond?" Remus asked. He was never called over the mundane phone system, so it could only be one person.

"Yes." General Hammond said. "Listen, if your friends are watching, why didn't they step in when our people were abducted?" he asked, angrily. Jack and Teal'c had been taken by an alien device and had to destroy technology they could have used to save people under the control of Goa'uld, to get Teal'c out. Harry had been watching, but scans revealed that it wasn't something they could copy, yet. They had their own ideas on saving possessed people. The transporter was interesting, though. It seemed to work on light, much like Harry's transport system did. It didn't use the same process, though.

"Our allies are not your babysitters General." Remus said calmly. "They are trying to ensure you don't bring more enemies to our door. If you want to send people to go looking for weapons, like Thor's Hammer, they are more likely to study the technology, if they don't already possess it, and then wait until your people are in real danger. I honestly don't see what the Envoy sees in you. You're obviously more interested in gaining weapons for your country than protecting the rest of the world."

"You have no idea what you are talking about." General Hammond said back, dangerously.

"I've not been given any specifics, but I do have an idea." Remus said, more calmly. "I realise you're following orders, but that doesn't mean we have to like it. The Envoy has expressed a desire to help those of you with, what he calls, 'Pure Hearts'. Fortunately you seem to have honourable people working for you, otherwise I'd suggest that the Envoy simply removes the Stargate and be done with it."

"Are you threatening the United States of America?!" General Hammond exploded.

"I'm simply stating facts. You are the ones threatening the United States of America, and the whole world." Remus said. "There's a reason the Nox speaks to the Envoy and not you."

That stopped the anger bubbling under the surface. "Your Envoy has been in contact with the Nox?" he asked.

"They're helping the Envoy with some of their allies, who had a problem." Remus allowed. "Listen, General, I'm not trying to be difficult. The Envoy has charged the Wolf Brigade with Global security, so you understand why I'm upset to learn you've been ordered to find weapons, rather than making friends, who can help us. It's because of attitudes like that, that the Envoy only works with people he thinks has the right attitude."

General Hammond was quiet for a moment, while he contemplated this. An alien had made contact, and apparently shared technology, to help protect the Earth, but only with people he, or it, judged had the correct motivations. He could actually respect that. He didnt like knowing his superiors were considered to be the wrong sort, even though he could understand it.

"Very well." he finally said. "There has been a request, from SG-1 to meet with the Envoy. Do you think you could set that up?" he asked.

"He's requested the same thing." Remus said. "I'm still not sure you are trustworthy. Anything that they learn, they'll report to you. You have a duty to report it back to your superiors."

"Don't you?" General Hammond asked.

"That's why we're a civilian branch." Remus countered. "We don't have to report anything. We do tell the PM when something major comes up, like when the Envoy started placing devices on the planet to start countering global warming."

"Aliens have been placing their technology on our planet, and you don't think that sounds fishy?" General Hammond asked, suddenly not keeping his cool anymore.

"There's only a few at this time." Remus countered. "The PM insisted that they start small, so that, if there's a threat, we could detect it. He even had them remove one, to ensure they would. So far, our scientists have confirmed that everything is doing exactly what they said it would. They even offered them one to study."

General Hammond wasn't liking what he was hearing. "I'll see if I can arrange an off-the-books mission for our people." he offered.

"We can take Jackson." Remus countered. "He's a civilian. You can't court martial him for not giving you information."

"What would be the point?" General Hammond asked. "The idea is to learn about the Envoy and his people."

"If you trust Jackson, when he tells you that the Envoy and his people are friendly, won't you believe him?" Remus asked. The General was quiet then, as he considered this. "Listen, I've got to go. The Envoy and I are about to sit down for dinner."

"He's at your house?" General Hammond asked, shocked.

"No, I'm at his." Remus said. The General could clearly hear the amusement.

"He has a house in Texas?" he asked.

"No, we're on his planet." Remus said. "Let me know what you decide. I'll speak to you later General." he said as he hung up, to go have dinner with Harry and the family.

When Remus joined them, Harry asked, "Was that Hammond?"

"Yes." Remus smirked. "He was wondering why you didn't step in to help when Jack and Teal'c were taken."

"Do I look like their babysitter?" Harry asked.

"That's what I said." Remus said.

"Technically, you were babysitting them." Fleur said. "We all were."

"Technically." Harry agreed. "They don't need to know that, though. I don't want to step in on everything they are doing."

"You do like figuring things out that they discover, though." Hermione pointed out. Harry was already considering how he would emulate the alien transport beams.

"What's the point of travelling to those worlds if I didn't learn from them?" Harry asked. "Plus, alien tech! Who wouldn't love to have alien tech?"

"Are you going to copy their healing devices?" Pansy asked. They had watched when a previously possessed lady used Goa'uld technology to heal a boy's broken wrist.

Pansy was taking a break from her studies and had joined them. With Harry's tools, she was almost done with her mundane medical studies. She'd found that the more she learned, the more she wanted to, so they'd gotten a doctor, who was in the know, to agree to have Harry copy her knowledge of medicine, which he placed in Pansy's ring. She was really grateful.

"Chances are, you're already better." Harry countered. "Hell, I could do what that woman did. If you want though, when we see one again, we can steal it for you."

"I'd appreciate that." Pansy said, smiling at Harry. "It could be educational."

The conversation went from there, to current developments in Harmony. Things like the recently added quiddich stadium. Apparently there were enough fans of the sport that it had become a priority. Harry was proud that a paintball arena had been requested before a quiddich pitch. It had become a big thing, considered a sport in many countries at that point. Harry had even heard of international teams getting together to plan the rules for an international event.

OOO

It was only a couple of days, before Remus received a call confirming that the whole SG-1 team had been cleared to meet the Envoy. They were given a free pass, to keep what they had learned secret and they would be bringing documentation, which needed to be signed, which would ensure that the team could keep everything secret, without fear of reprisal.

Harry had accepted it. It wasn't like he would let them leave with the information if they intended to betray his trust. There were wards to detect such things after all. When asked where they would meet, Remus instructed them to just leave the compound and wait outside the next day, at midday.

OOO

The next day, Harry was ready to meet the people. They'd set up a Cacodaemon outside the SGC and it would be transporting them to the Saucer. The saucer had undergone a bit of an internal illusionary transformation, just for the visitors.

When the team stepped out of the Hangar, they were instantly portkeyd onto the ship. For those watching, it had looked like the beam that Thor's Hammer had used to transport Teal'c and Jack away, recently.

"Welcome." Harry said.

"Uh." Jackson started. "Hi." he said intelligently.

"Doctor Jackson." Harry allowed. "May I call you Daniel?" he asked, as he beckoned them to sit down. The chairs looked all red and metallic, but the real chairs were the normal ones from the ship. There was a table in the middle, with a glass decanter with butterbeer, which would refill itself from a stock they had. The table itself was functional and solid metal as well. The room seemed to be empty except for them.

"Where are we?" Jack asked.

"Oh, sorry, Colonel O'Neill." Harry said, snapping his fingers and the walls became transparent, showing them that they were in close orbit above Earth. "It's good to see you again." Harry smiled at the man. "No side-effects from your temporary octogenarian state, I hope?"

"I'm fine." Jack said, looking out at the planet and the stars. "The walls are invisible, right? We're not exposed or anything?"

"Simple invisibility." Harry confirmed. He saw Teal'c looking at the decanter. "Please, have some. It's perfectly safe for you, it won't harm your symbiote." Teal'c didn't reach for the decanter, so Harry floated it over a glass and poured himself some. He looked at Captain Carter. "Can I offer you some? I was told that it is good manners to serve a lady, even though I know you prefer not to be seen as a woman in a man's world."

"I'm a Captain in the air force." Carter said.

"I know." Harry allowed, pouring her a drink anyway and floating the glass to her. "It doesn't take away from the fact that I am a gentleman."

"Don't get any ideas." Jack said, sternly, as he watched the floating items.

"Oh, I have enough women in my life already, thank you very much." Harry said. "Don't get me wrong, Captain, you are a beautiful woman, but I'm just being civil."

"You've been studying Earth's culture." Daniel said.

"Daniel?" Harry asked. Jackson nodded. He'd not given his permission before. "Daniel, I'm going to tell you more about me in just a bit, but I need to know that you are not going to threaten some of my people's lives, by outing them, for living on Earth."

"Your people live on Earth?" Jack asked.

"Let's say yes, and no." Harry said, smirking. "'My people' is what you need to keep in mind. The people I come from are your people. I have since moved on, and have established a different 'my people'. As a result, there are certain things that remain secret, need to remain secret. This is big news. Will you be reporting on it?"

"You want the existence of aliens among us to be kept from the government?" Jack asked.

"Let me put it this way." Harry changed tack. "Colonel O'Neill, if I told you my people are no threat to yours, would you report their existence to your government? That is what I want to find out."

Jack thought about it. If they had an interest in protecting the planet, it would make sense as the reason for their help. "You will protect all of us, to protect your own people?" Jack asked, in turn.

"No." Harry said. "I would protect our people, because they are our people."

Jack considered this, but only for a moment. "Sure. I'll keep your secret."

Harry turned to Carter. "Captain?" he asked.

"Will you be sharing your technology with us?" she asked.

"If I can trust you to keep it from your government." Harry allowed.

"We cannot make that promise." Teal'c interjected.

"I know." Harry smiled at the big man, pouring him a glass, and floating it over to him. "But can you promise to try?"

Teal'c said nothing, but he was looking at the decanter. It had not diminished at all. "How is it still full?" he asked, pointing it out.

"From your perspective?" Harry asked. "Magic." he smirked at the man. "Though I'll not be claiming to be a god because I can do things outside your understanding."

Samantha had sniffed at the drink and took a sip. "It's good." she said.

"It was made by humans." Harry allowed.

"I've never had this." she said.

"It's a well-kept secret." Harry said. "And? Can you promise to try and keep what we give you from your government?"

"I can promise to try." Carter agreed.

"Teal'c?" Harry asked.

"I have sworn my loyalty to Stargate Command." Teal'c said. "I will not betray them if you ask."

"I appreciate your honesty." Harry said. "I also respect your loyalty. Thank you. I will, however, not request that you do harm to your relationship with them. You may stay, I'm sure you'll understand, soon." He turned to Daniel.

"Can you help us save my wife." he asked, instead.

"Do you know what planet she is on?" Harry asked.

"No." Daniel said.

"Then no, not yet." Harry said. "But I can help you look. Do you know where to start?"

"We don't." Daniel said.

"Don't worry, Daniel. We'll find her someday." Harry said, cancelling the invisibility and making the room look normal. Suddenly they were surrounded by twelve fully armed wolves and Harry's girls, all of them, appeared on their seats. They had been there all along. "Excuse the deception there. My people worry about me. If you do speak about me, I'm called the Envoy, but you can call me Harry in private." he smirked. The wolves chuckled and moved to their seats, buckling up and ignoring the four who suddenly realised their seats had seatbelts. "Buckle up boys and girl. We're going on a field trip."

"Wait a second!" Jack exclaimed. "Who are all these people?"

"A squad from the Wolf Brigade and my girls." Harry said pointing at them respectively.

"Your women?" Carter asked, even as the decanter vanished and the table flowed into the floor, looking like there'd never been anything.

"We are the Envoy's brides." Luna said. "I'm Luna."

The girls all introduced themselves, before Jack asked. "You fly around in a spaceship with your girlfriends?"

"Betrothed." Pansy said, primly.

"Don't fuck with my girls, Jack." Harry said, looking very serious. "Each one of them could take on a full squadron of Goa'uld, all while discussing the weather and deciding what they want for lunch."

"But… they're girls." Jack said.

"Don't say I didn't warn you." Harry said dubiously, even as Jack's hair all disappeared. "Nice haircut." he said.

Jack reached up and felt he suddenly had a lack of hair. "What did you do?" he asked.

"Don't look at me." Harry defended, pulling out the control for the ship from seemingly nowhere. "You underestimated them. Also, you called them girls. At the very least, they are young ladies. I can call them my girls, because it's said affectionately."

"Fine, I'm sorry." Jack acquiesced. His hair was suddenly back, even though he was still feeling his head. "That's just freaky."

"I don't like that word." Harry warned, sternly. He didn't wait long to fly them to where Prometheus was waiting. Before entering, he made it visible. It was at full size as well. "This is the Prometheus." Harry said.

"What is Prometheus?" Daniel asked, looking at the vessel they were approaching the rear of.

"It's my long distance spacecraft." Harry said. "What you're on is my first attempt at a spacecraft, called the-"

"Let him see for himself." Padma said, with a smirk.

"Fair enough." Harry said smiling at her. He pressed a button and the rear hatch opened.

As they flew in Carter's eyes looked like they would pop out of her skull. "Dimensional manipulation!" she exclaimed.

"What?" Jack asked.

"It's bigger on the inside!" Carter explained.

"Makes things easier." Harry shrugged. "This ship is the same, just on a smaller scale obviously." He parked the saucer and closed the hatch, waiting for pressurization to complete. Doctor Pike had upgraded the system so that they didn't vent so much air and most of it was sucked out before the hatch opened. It wasn't perfect, but it was better than it had been.

The wolves unbuckled first and opened the door, going directly back to their barracks. "Where are they going?" Jack asked.

"Probably returning to their lunches." Harry said. "I kind of forgot to tell them about going to pick you up. You don't want to come between a wolf and their food."

"You talk about them like they are starving animals." Daniel said.

"They are one of those." Harry allowed with a chuckle, as he led them from the ship.

"It's a god-damned flying saucer!" Jack exclaimed.

"You were right." Harry said to Padma, at her victorious grin.

"I told you." Padma said, as she stepped into the transporter with Hermione. They closed the door and it soon opened without them.

"Where did they go?" Carter asked.

"Sam?" Harry asked. She nodded. "This is a futuristic flying space-vessel, right? What do you think that is?"

"It functions like the transport rings." Teal'c said.

"I call it a transporter, or transport room, but sure." Harry allowed.

"Harry, I've got to go." Parvati said. "It was nice to meet your friends, but I've got a bit of business to complete back on Earth."

"Sure." Harry said. "Thanks for coming." he said as he hugged her goodbye. She stepped into the transporter. The door closed and opened and she was gone as well. This left Harry with Daphne, Fleur, Susan, Pansy and Luna.

"Wait, we could have just taken a transporter here?" Carter asked. "Isn't it a bit far away?"

"It's connected to the network." Harry said. "As long as it's got a counterpart, it can go anywhere."

"You've hacked the Stargate system?" Daniel asked.

"Oh, no. You don't understand." Harry said. "My system is much better than the one the Alterans made."

"Alterans?" Daniel asked.

"You don't know?" Harry asked, as he walked into the transporter, waiting for them to follow. "They were the builders of the Stargate system. The Goa'uld just use it. I don't know what happened to the Alterans, or 'Ancients', but the Nox seemed to indicate they didn't die out. They are still not willing to give me much, but they are at least friendly."

The rest had gotten on the transporter. Harry pressed the button for the labs and the doors closed and opened. There seemed to be no lights or even a sense of movement. The door had simply closed and opened to show something else outside.

Harry walked out and led them to the first Lab. There was a tag on the door, which read Doctor Sidney Hawk.

"Doctor Hawk is working with you?" Samantha asked.

"For a couple of years now." Harry confirmed, leading them in. "Hey, Sidney, we've brought guests."

"Why do you always insist on coming here when I'm busy?" Sidney asked as she walked out of the StellarNet observatory. "I'm assuming you're showing off again?" she asked in a huff. She was busy looking for uninhabited planets, which might support life, outside of areas where Stargates could be, based on the possibilities of the coordinates from the Stargate constellations.

"Come on, Doctor, we're actually going to use it this time." Harry said.

"Not just showing off then?" she asked.

"Maybe a little showing off." Harry admitted.

Doctor Hawk sighed. "Well, you made the damn thing, so I suppose you can use it." She turned to the guests. "Hi, I'm Doctor Sidney Hawk." She turned away and left her lab. "I'm going to get myself a cup of coffee!" she called after her. There was a 'pop!', and a, "Oh, thank you Dobby." Then the woman was heard mumbling something like, "Can't even use my own lab." as she left to go to the Lido deck.

"You should really just make another one." Daphne said. "I know it's a lot of work, but it is always a good idea to have a backup, right?"

"Like Doctor Pike says, 'Redundancy is good'." Fleur quoted. She'd ended up spending quite a bit of time with the likable woman. She was gruff, but friendly, and didn't mind getting dirty, though usually she ordered magicals to build stuff for her these days.

"Yeah, yeah." Harry said. "I'll put it on the list."

He led them into the StellarNet room, grateful that Doctor Hawk had switched off the illusionary display, so that he could start from scratch.

"Are you all familiar with the big bang?" Harry asked with a smirk, as he readied the system.

"The start of the universe." Jack said.

"Exactly." Harry said, smirking as he triggered the galaxy to spring to life and explode around them, till the entire galaxy and all the billions of stars were floating through and around them, as the lights in the room extinguished. "Welcome to the Milky Way."

"Is this an actual representation?" Carter asked. "It's so detailed!"

"This is a real-time feed, doctor." Susan said. "This is what the Milky Way looks like at this very moment."

Carter's mind seemed to be blown, and she just looked around her. This was an astrophysicist's dream. "How?" she finally asked.

"Trade secret." the girls all said.

"I say that a lot." Harry explained.

"Because he can do things nobody else can." Luna said. "I like it. Especially when he-"

"Luna!" Susan exclaimed indignantly. "Don't go talking about that with people we don't know!"

"I was talking about his exceptional flying." Luna smiled dreamily at her. "What were you talking about?"

"You set me up for that." Susan huffed, glad the room was dark, to hide her blush.

"Anyway." Harry said, creating an illusionary Dial-Home-Device in the palm of his hand. "Where are we going Daniel?" he asked. The Dial-Home-Device, or DHD, was what they had called the device they used to 'dial' the Stargate to open, usually to go back home through. The SGC didn't have such a device and had heavy machinery to dial up connections. The Stargate they had, was something they had found in Giza, in 1929. Apparently the DHD that was supposed to go with it had never been found.

Daniel looked confused for a moment, before recognition flashed on his face. He instantly walked to the illusion of the DHD. Then he held his finger above the display of the DHD and brought it down, being shocked at making physical contact. He quickly pressed the other five constellation symbols and they all lit up in the galaxy. Before he could press the point of origin key the DHD disappeared. "What about point of origin?" he asked.

"My system doesn't need that." Harry said. "We're not making a wormhole. When you get in a car, do you need to know where you are, before you can start driving, or can you just turn the key and find your way?"

Daniel looked up and saw that the constellations had lit up and a line had formed between them, pointing out the star. Harry wandlessly used the controls and zoomed in on the star, then he expanded slowly until they saw the planet. "What's here?" Harry asked.

"Seriously!?" Carter exclaimed. "How is this possible!?"

"I'd say science, but I'd only be telling half the truth." Harry admitted.

"That is Abydos." Daniel said. "Sha're's home world."

"This is where you met your wife?" Susan asked, placing a hand on the man's shoulder.

"Yes." Daniel said sadly. "Her father was away at the time. They buried the Stargate. I'll only be able to see him again after a year has passed, when they uncover it."

"Huh." Harry said. He picked a spot close to the planet and marked it, before zooming out. Not wanting to have them see how the travel worked, he let the system plot the course with him seeing the course in his head, as a series of lines formed between the stars all the way from Earth. He activated the function from where he stood and then about-faced, walking to the transport room again, the others following behind him.

"Let's go say hi to your father-in-law." Harry said.

They were soon on the Saucer again. One of the wolves had met Harry's eye and he shook his head slightly. This wasn't a mission. He had his invisible bodyguard already and his girls.

They were soon off the ship. It remained invisible this time, but the others were stunned. "Your ship can travel anywhere instantly?!" Carter asked. This couldn't be real. The distance was too great, even with what they'd discovered, there should be no form of travel that could move instantaneously so far without a wormhole, or some sort of sense of movement. "How?"

"Trade secret." Harry said.

"No, seriously." Carter said. "What you just did isn't scientifically possible!"

"Though, in actuality, we just did it." Harry said.

"Either that or you're dreaming." Luna said. "In which case, please don't wake up? I like existing."

Harry smiled at his girl and blew her a kiss. "You're special." he said fondly. He turned to Daniel. "I hope you know where to go. This planet is pretty much just desert."

Daniel was silent, though. He was worried to see his father-in-law. He had hoped he'd have rescued Sha're before he saw him again. Unfortunately they'd not even found a way to separate a Goa'uld from a host safely. That thought brought him back. "Do you know how to save her? Once we have her, I mean."

"I'll see what I can do." Pansy said.

"She's becoming a doctor." Harry said proudly. "She's got some real talent for it."

"You need less salt in your diet." Pansy said, looking at O'Neill.

"You can tell?" Jack asked.

"She's got talents. Like all my girls and myself." Harry said.

"Telekinesis, holograms, some sort of invisibility and interstellar teleportation." Carter said. "Now medical capabilities? What can't you do?"

"Some things." Harry admitted. "I can't raise the dead, for example."

"Well, technically-" Daphne started.

"Okay that was only a few times and usually only after I kill them so that I can raise them." Harry said. The others looked at him. "What? I needed to stop their heart to kill a very short-lived infection. I knew exactly what I was doing."

"Wait, couldn't you do that to save a host?" Jack asked. "The Goa'uld try to escape a dying or dead body."

"Oh, right." Harry said. "Good idea Jack. I'll have to rework the technology, but it should be doable."

"How do you do it?" Carter asked.

"Seriously people, where are we going?" Harry asked, ignoring the question.

"I don't know." Daniel admitted. "The pyramid and the Naquadah mines were the only permanent structures I'd ever seen." The Naquadah mines, were large stone-like outcroppings in the desert. The locals had been mining it for the false god, Ra, until he was destroyed Jack O'Neill and Daniel Jackson a bit more than a year ago, shortly after opening the Stargate for the first time, apparently.

"Well say something for fuck's sake." Harry said, as he angled them up. When they were high enough, he activated the long range sensor. Soon a display popped up and started scanning the surface of the planet. They found nothing, but Harry started flying them forward really fast, scanning as he went.

"This thing is really fast." Jack said, watching the planet fly by below them.

"The Prometheus is faster." Harry said.

"I know." Jack said, sarcastically.

"No, I mean, it has normal flight capabilities and they are more than ten times faster." Harry explained.

"How fast?" Jack asked.

"2.5... million kilometres per hour?" Harry guessed. He'd never tested the actual limits. He didn't want to risk the ship.

"So this thing can go 200 000 kilometres per hour." Jack asked. "And this is your short range ship?"

"He built it before he turned twelve." Daphne said, proudly.

"On his own?" Carter asked. "What about the others? Didn't someone need to help him? What about his parents?"

"My parents were murdered when I was a baby." Harry said. "By someone like us."

"So there are bad aliens on Earth?" Jack asked.

"Not anymore." Daphne said. "Let's drop this subject."

"But, why didn't someone else help him?" Carter pressed. She felt bad for the boy, but she needed to know. If their race was so advanced, surely they knew that children can make mistakes.

"Harry is the one that made the ship, because it hadn't been done before." Luna said. "Our people keep to themselves. Most of them think they are better than humans. Harry learned from you. He used your knowledge and ours and did things nobody ever had."

"He's a pioneer. A great inventor." Fleur said.

"I think that's enough, girls." Harry warned. "They aren't ready for the rest."

"What do you mean, not anymore?" Jack asked anyway, referring to the bad aliens.

"The first job of the Wolf Brigade was finding and capturing the bad ones." Susan said. "Our people had protectors, but they were not doing their jobs correctly. Harry and his adoptive family started a company and then formed a security force. Harry helped equip them and they took the bad guys out."

"Did they kill them?" Jack asked.

"They were monsters, but Harry isn't one. He commissioned a prison. They can never escape." Daphne said. "Mine and Pansy's fathers were two of them. They did unspeakable things, because they believed they had the right."

"And now you are with the person who put your fathers in prison?" Jack asked.

"Just because they are monsters, don't make us monsters." Pansy said.

"And your mothers?" Carter asked.

"They moved with us, when we moved to Harmony." Pansy said. "That's enough. I believe Harry's found something."

True enough, Harry had found the Pyramid. It was a bit off the equator and to what Harry assumed was the north, considering the rotation of the planet. "There's so much sand." Harry said. "Where do these people grow crops, or get water?"

"They have their ways." Daniel said. Perhaps he should have said 'Trade secret'? The young man who brought them might get a kick out of that.

"Fair enough." Harry allowed. "Mind if I set them up with some water production, though?" he asked.

"You can do that?" Daniel asked. Water was always a worry, when you lived in the desert.

"Sure." Harry said. "It'll only work for a short while, a few months to a year, if I slow the process down a bit, but there's no such thing as free energy, right?"

"You're telling us." Carter said. "One of the biggest expenses at the SGC is all the power it takes."

"I may be able to help with that, one day." Harry offered. "If you want and I learn I can trust your General Hammond."

"He's a good man." Jack said. "He's hard sometimes, but that's because he's trying to keep people safe, while doing his duty."

"I can respect that." Harry said, as he brought them down, near a settlement.

Daniel was suddenly nervous again. Harry didn't seem to be worried, though, and opened the door shocking a person who was walking by. He screamed something in a foreign language, and Daniel hurried out, to put the man's mind at ease.

"We usually try not to scare the locals." Jack reprimanded.

"I know." Harry said. He got up and walked to the door, to see Daniel speaking hurriedly with the man.

"He's probably finding out where Kasuf is." Carter said.

"While he's doing that," Harry said, "Jack, where should I put their water?"

"Strategically speaking, it would be a good idea to hide it." Jack said. "Underground, maybe?" he offered.

"Less evaporation." Carter agreed.

"Makes sense." Harry allowed. "Where, though? Is there a place where the majority of the children and women stay?"

"Centre of town?" Jack offered. He wasn't too familiar with the habits of the natives, even though he knew some of the kids. Speaking of, he saw a few of them running over, so he stepped away to go greet them, and explain that they hadn't found Skaara yet. Skaara was one of the natives they had met a bit more than a year prior. The boy was young, but he had rallied his friends and they had come to the rescue of the team, when Ra had captured them. Jack had always had a soft spot for the boy. The fact that he met him shortly after his own son had died, due to an accident with a gun, which Jack blamed himself for, had bonded them deeply.

"They both have friends here." Carter said, seeing more and more people converge to meet them, greeting and smiling. "I wasn't on the first Stargate mission here."

"You'll make your own friends." Luna said.

"In the meanwhile, let's go find out if these people have a well, or something." Harry suggested. They walked off in the direction of the camp, people looking at them strangely, but seeming to recognize Carter and Teal'c's clothing. Teal'c was being given a wide berth, though. "I'm assuming you get that a lot?" he asked the big man.

"The Jaffa are feared." Teal'c agreed. "I do not blame them."

"Yeah, but let's do something about that anyway." Harry said, covering the metallic tattoo/disc on his forehead with an illusion.

Carter noticed instantly. "You can just change it, that easily."

"It's the equivalent of a temporary hologram." Harry said easily.

"What did you do?" Teal'c asked.

"He made your forehead look normal." Carter supplied.

"It's a simple trick for Harry." Daphne said. "You should see some of the things he's learned to do over the years."

"We've been seeing quite a few things already." Carter said.

"Could I see your staff weapon?" Daphne asked Teal'c.

Teal'c's jaw clenched, but he finally nodded minutely and handed her the weapon. Daphne had been around enough to know that she couldn't try and affect it with magic, in-case she broke it, but she wanted to inspect it anyway. "Do you know how they function?" Teal'c asked.

"No." Daphne said. "I don't usually work with weapons. Harry's the only one that makes them. Usually only because he has the capability and wants to test something. He tends to only make weapons from his other technologies, when he has an idea."

"What do you do?" Carter tried.

"I'm Harry's secretary." Daphne said.

"Because you're a girl?" Carter asked, a hard cast to her eyes.

"Get that chip off your shoulder already." Daphne scoffed.

"Daphne wanted the job, because she likes to dress up and seduce Harry, when he gets too focussed on his projects." Pansy said. "She's good at it, but I'm better."

"You are not!" Daphne exclaimed.

"Girls." Harry chided, as they reached what looked like a well. He focussed on his ring and sent a detection spell through the invisible light. The well was deep and the water flowing into it from the nearby underground aquifer was slow, but steady. It would keep the populace from growing beyond a certain point, though. Harry wandered if the Goa'uld had chosen this spot on purpose, for that reason. "The water coming into the well is stable, but not plentiful. I don't know that I should mess with their supply, though. Increasing the resource could have a negative effect, if they suddenly experience a population boom, but can't sustain it. Especially when my influence ends."

"You're trying to avoid making them reliant on you." Teal'c said.

"In simple terms, yes." Harry said. "If I could help them increase the yield of their crops, and we teach them about some techniques to maximize their-"

"We've talked about this, Harry." Fleur interrupted. "You promised not to get too involved just yet."

"I know." Harry allowed. "That doesn't mean we can't be nice and introduce some useful things." he said stubbornly. It wasn't like he couldn't help, but they had to keep their impact small. The Goa'uld would likely get word of them at some point. Better have it happen on their terms.

Samantha Carter was picking up on some very useful information. Harry seemed to want to genuinely help these people. They were right not to want to make too big an impact though. Not for selfish reasons, of course. It could only harm people like these, if they started needing outside assistance to maintain what they had. Better to leave them be, until they could sustain themselves better. Teaching them, however, could be a good way to have them help themselves. If only these people knew how to read. They could bring books on farming and managing whatever crops they had. Maybe they could even bring some seeds, if Daniel would reveal how and where they produced their food. She suspected they planted in the shade of the mines out of direct sunlight, but wouldn't betray Daniel's trust by saying it out loud.

She wasn't wrong either. Harry had followed the water from the aquifer to where he found a modest plantation of sorts, under the shade of a stone outcropping. It must have taken many generations to cultivate the soil there, never mind finding a suitable location that would have sufficient nutrients and ground-water. While he was scanning the area, he detected an issue, and fixed it, negligently. There was a blockage forming which would likely have stopped the crops from growing where they had been growing them for years, because the water would stop being available.

Harry knew that it was likely part of a cycle that happened sometimes, with the water diverting to a new location and they'd have to find it and re-plant, but the soil they had cultivated was now using techniques Daniel likely taught them and the ground was being properly cared for, so he didn't worry that they'd need to start over again anytime soon.

He didn't mention what he had done, though. It wasn't necessary. He'd tell Daniel. The man should inform his people. If there were other reasons that he didn't take into consideration, he'd likely know and tell him.

It was a short while later that Daniel joined them. He looked sad, but resolute. He'd obviously found and spoken to the father. "How did it go?" Carter asked.

"He trusts us to save Sha're." Daniel said. The man had utmost faith in him, treating him like a real son. He loved these people for their acceptance of him. "What have you been doing?" he asked.

"I've been scanning the area for information." Harry said. "Come, we have something to discuss." He turned to his girls. "Mind staying here, while we go off to chat?"

"I'll see if they have any sick people and try to help." Pansy said, the others deciding to go with her.

"See you soon, then." Harry said, as he lifted up, taking Daniel with him. Cooper was still following invisibly.

"What the hell!?" Jack exclaimed, looking up at them.

"They'll be back soon." Pansy said. "Now, where do they keep their infirm?" she asked, getting to business, becoming the Healer she was. Jack soon started leading them off to where he remembered their injured being before. They were usually kept in one of the chambers of the Pyramid.

Harry, in the meanwhile, was flying them to where the crops were being kept. "How are you doing this?" Daniel asked.

"Between you and me, I'm manipulating my personal weight and using what you'd likely call a form of telekinesis to move myself in a direction. You are, in-turn being kept with me using a similar effect." Harry said.

"And the fact that there hasn't been a gust of wind?" Daniel asked.

"Similar, but different." Harry said, as he set them down by the crops. "There was an issue in the stone." he said pointing out at the stone outcropping. "The Aquifer gets its water from condensation in the cracks of the stone. There's a certain metal at play inside it, which is helping the process. The problem is, something about a recently introduced new farming technique has been affecting the sand which has been allowed to fall into the crevices. It was solidifying and affecting airflow, which would have affected the amount of water available to the crops."

"You're saying I did something that may have ended up killing all of them?" Daniel asked in shock. He hadn't even considered it.

"I'm saying that they would likely have needed to move the crops." Harry argued. "I've already taken care of the problem and put something in place to stop the situation from happening again. The reason I'm telling you, and only you, is because I know you care for these people. Don't go changing things just because you think you know better. That is the kind of hubris which makes civilizations fall."

Daniel looked at the young man in a new light in that moment. He saw now what the Nox saw in him. He wasn't as young as he seemed. "Thank you." Daniel said, with heartfelt gratitude.

"It's not a problem." Harry said. "Just, be careful with these things. I myself would like to make changes, but I can't affect things and then just leave, without knowing the long-term consequences. These crops would likely have been fine for a few more years, but the problem would have become worse every year."

"How did you fix it?" Daniel asked.

"At some point you'll learn that if you couldn't do it yourself, it's likely considered a trade secret." Harry smirked, as he picked them up again and flew them back to the others, where people were gathered around Pansy, as she healed the infirm with what seemed to be a simple touch, with her eyes closed.

Daniel was soon overrun with people speaking very rapidly, while Harry went to go see if he could help with anything.

"We've been fixing things." Daphne said, as Harry approached. "Luna fixed a torn tarp, and suddenly people started bringing all their broken things. Torn fabric, broken toys, bowls and some implements we don't even know what they're supposed to do."

"Give them a hand and they will take the whole arm." Harry chuckled. "Couldn't be helped I suppose." he said, as he started helping the mass of queuing people, all carrying various items. All his girls had gotten in on the act and they seemed to love it. Teal'c had taken up a defensive position near his girls and Harry sent him a nod in thanks.

Luna liked to show off and was levitating things as she repaired them, so that people could see. She never got the chance, since it wasn't allowed on Earth and most everyone had friends on Mars already. There was also a whole company that sold their magical services. 'Spells 'r Us', or 'Rent-a-Spell', something like that. Harry was proud of her for starting on this. For these people, there was likely never an abundance of anything.

Daniel soon found himself being called in to explain what an item was, before it could be repaired. It seemed that that was helping some. Seriously, what could these people not do?

By the time they left, it was to a thoughtful group. "And you are not gods?" Teal'c asked, as they entered the ship, his forehead returning to normal.

"Many of our more egotistically inclined, would probably jump at the opportunity to be worshiped, but no." Daphne said. "We can claim it if we wanted, but it would be a lie."

"You re-grew an arm." Carter said, looking at Pansy.

"Simple enough, if you know what you're doing." Pansy said. "To be fair, that one tired me out."

"'No such thing as free energy'." Carter repeated. "Still, this is amazing. Could anyone use your technology?"

"Some of it, but it has to be designed for it." Harry said.

"Some of what Harry does is unique to him." Susan said. "Some of what we do is also unique." she said, clutching a necklace she always wore these days and looking at Harry. "Can I show them?" she asked.

"Sure." Harry allowed.

Susan smiled at that and stepped back, closing her eyes in concentration. Suddenly her form shifted as she fell forward, and before them stood a wolf. A large wolf. The necklace she wore was made of materials gathered on the moon. When magic was sent into it, it would emulate the moon's magic. Remus had figured that one out on his own. He wanted to be able to change at will. All the wolves carried those stones with them, since then.

"What… the hell?!" Jack exclaimed.

Susan walked up to Harry, who scratched her behind the ears. Susan had tried to describe the feeling to him once, but it defied words to her. She couldn't explain why it felt good.

"Susan has that ability, due to a process she underwent." Harry explained. "She's training to be a wolf, after all. It's standard protocol."

"You're shape shifters." Daniel said. "There are cultures that worshipped the wolf. Some believe that's where the myth of skin walkers and the werewolves come from."

"Werewolves are not a myth." Harry said, as Susan reared back and transformed again.

"Werewolves are real?" Jack asked.

"It used to be more violent and involuntary." Susan said. "That was before my time, though."

"Harry fixed that too." Pansy said.

"You fixed it?" Jack asked. "She was still a wolf, though, right? I wasn't seeing things?"

"They used to look like this." Harry said pointing to the side and the original werewolf stood there snarling at them. Teal'c instantly pointed his staff at the creature. "Relax, Teal'c. It is just a hologram."

"Kind of." Daphne said. Illusions and Holograms were different, and Harry could make his have real substance.

"Kind of?" Carter asked as the wolf vanished.

"Remember how Daniel was able to touch the DHD?" Harry asked. "He could do that because my holograms have the unique ability to manifest physically." It was technically a lie, but also technically the truth. He could imbue an illusion with Telekinetic force, to make them seem real.

"You can create living things?" Teal'c asked. "How are you not gods?"

"Because it's an illusion of life. Temporary at most." Harry said. To prove his point, he created a copy of Teal'c.

"What's up, bro?" the illusion asked, with a smile Teal'c couldn't pull off, using slang that would sound wrong out of his mouth. The illusion walked to a chair and turned it around, for Teal'c. "Come on. The boss-man wants to get going."

Teal'c stood completely still. He didn't know how to react to seeing this.

"You're weirding him out." Susan chided, but smiling as she did so.

Harry allowed the illusion to fade. "You okay, big guy?" Harry asked.

"That was freaky." Jack said. "You guys are freaky."

Harry focused on Jack, and he lifted into the air. "I'm going to ask nicely, one more time, that you forget that word."

"Harry's relatives used to call him a freak." Luna said. "They were bad people."

"Okay, I'm sorry!" Jack exclaimed. Harry placed him down again. "Jeeze. You could have just said so."

"He did warn you." Daphne said.

"But he didn't say why." Jack said.

"Should we discuss your personal past now?" Pansy asked. "Your personal pain and losses?"

Jack's eyes hardened at that. "I get your point. I'm sorry." he said sincerely.

"Your own relatives?" Carter asked.

"Not nice people." Harry said, closing the hatch and lifting them up. It didn't take long to return to Prometheus, from where they went back to Earth.

Instead of taking them back, Harry led them to the Lido deck, to find that the wolves were already there, some of them playing pool. Others were even enjoying a beer, while watching a Paintball game on the large overhead television. This was mostly staged though. If the guests thought there was a force on-board, just in case Harry needed help, it would send the right message. The fact was that they had been watching until The Saucer was on its way back to the Prometheus.

"Drink?" Harry asked them, stepping behind the bar.

"Are you old enough to drink?" Daniel asked.

"Our physiology handles alcohol slightly better than yours." Harry said. "Technically, I should be asking if you're old enough to drink."

"I'll have a beer." Jack said. "Nothing imported, please."

"Jack, from their perspective, if it's local to you-" Daniel started.

"Yeah, yeah." Jack said, taking the offered beer over the counter. "So, you watch television?" he asked.

"It's a good place to find inspiration." Harry shrugged.

"But war-games?" Jack asked, looking at the television. He'd been in similar training environments.

"It's paintball." Harry said. "That's a newly formed international team." He looked at the wolves. "Who's in the lead?"

"The Americans are leading overall. Better tactics. More training." one of the wolves said, without diverting his eyes. "The current match is between the Irish and the French. The Irish look like they'll take the match."

"Paintball?" Jack asked, looking at the screen. The weapons seemed real to him. Then he saw a man take a shot in the arm and the arm was disabled, dropping his own weapon.

"That's gonna cost 'em." another wolf said. "They are leaning heavily on his experience. If he's taken out-" Another shot to the chest, dropped the man. "That's it for the French." he said. "They won't recover from this."

"Is that man alright?" Carter asked.

"Simulated damage." Harry said. "Being shot in a limb, disables it, like it would in real battle. A shot to the chest knocks out. If they were able to protect the man long enough to make it back to their base, he'd be able to function normally again. If they try to get him back to base, now, they'll lose more men and they would just fight a losing battle."

"Base and five minutes." One of the wolves corrected.

"They changed the rules again?" Harry asked.

"They needed to. People were staying near their base and using it as a bunker. The matches were taking too long and people were losing interest." the wolf said.

"They will try and get as many shots in as they can, to increase their score." another wolf said, pointing at the screen, where there seemed to be a mad rush, as the French ran at the opposing team, firing madly, trying to score a few hits before they could be picked off. The Irish seemed more inclined to duck and cover, with someone with better aim taking them out one by one.

"It looks like fun." Jack said.

"Can be." Harry said. "Depending on your team-mates."

"You play?" Jack asked.

Luna giggled. "Harry invented it."

"You've just got your hands in everything, don't you?" Jack asked.

"You have no idea." Daphne said. "At least things slowed down some, since Harry left school. We can see him whenever we want, now."

"School?" Carter asked. She wondered what kind of school these people would go to.

"That's a story for another time." Harry said. "I'm thinking we enjoy a drink, before we take you back."

"Why don't you just speak to the General?" Jack asked. "I'm sure he'll protect you."

"I'm not the one that needs protection." Harry said.

"Do you think that your government would not go looking for our people, if they knew they existed?" Fleur asked, as she walked up to the man, smiling at him, and placing a hand on his shoulder.

Jack got a vacant look in his eyes. "They definitely will." Jack said, smiling at the angel before him.

"That's enough." Harry smirked. Fleur smirked too, and stepped away, dialling down her allure.

"What just happened?" Jack asked.

"Fleur has the unique ability to seduce men." Harry said. "She was making a point." Daniel was still staring at Fleur. "Daniel, snap out of it." he said.

Daniel shook his head. "What?" he asked.

"He seems more vulnerable than you." Fleur said, looking at Jack. He'd pulled himself together rather quickly. "You have a strong mind." she said.

"Thanks, I guess." Jack said. There was no chance that the government wouldn't want someone with these powers. If there were aliens with these powers living mixed in with the humans, they'd start hunting them down. "I see your point."

"So, we're just supposed to know about you, but not mention you?" Carter asked. She'd not felt anything, but she'd seen her effect.

"You can mention us." Harry said. "Call me the Envoy. Call my people your hidden allies, or the Wolves. It will be simple to write that off as something that is classified. Your president already knows about our people. He just didn't know about my personal involvement."

"He knew?" Jack asked.

"Our people have a separate government." Harry said. "To ensure our safety, the leaders of countries are informed about us, so that we can speak to them about things that might affect the rest of humanity. Your president agreed to keep me and mine secret, as long as we offer help, which we are doing anyway, so there's no skin off my back."

"We have a law, which states nobody is allowed to know or learn about us." Daphne said. "It's international. The reason Harry developed his technology, is so that we could establish something new, without those laws."

"That's another reason we're telling you to keep it secret. If someone found out that you knew, they would find you and wipe your memories and come after us and our friends and family." Harry said. "By showing you what we did today, we're breaking international law. Your secrecy is needed to protect us and yourselves."

"Our memories?!" Jack asked, incredulously.

"It's a simple enough procedure." Harry said. "Any of us could do it with a thought, but we don't want to, which is why it's imperative that you keep the secret."

"We're putting our families and friends in danger by telling you." Daphne reiterated.

"You're really from Earth?" Daniel asked.

"We are, but our people are separate." Pansy explained. "For our protection we keep ourselves apart. Because of the divide, our people began to stagnate. They are about a hundred years behind, technologically."

"Except for Harry." Susan said. "He's a couple of hundred years ahead."

"Because he uses our knowledge and yours." Daniel said. "The whole is greater than the sum of its parts." he said. "Your technology is all based around human knowledge?"

"Well, technically I made a few discoveries using both, and some family secrets." Harry admitted. "In our culture, some families have unique… traits. We pass them on to our children, either as gifts, or as knowledge. Our family had some interesting knowledge and I used that and science to make better family secrets."

"Why keep them secret?" Jack asked.

"If you had the ability to start a fire with your mind, you'd use that to stay warm in winter." Pansy said. "If you taught other people how to do it, what do you think would happen?"

"They'd start making fires, just because they could." Daniel said. "You mean to say, you can pass knowledge to your people and they'd gain abilities?"

"That's how all knowledge works, isn't it?" Luna asked, cocking her head to the side.

"She is correct." Teal'c said. "To me, my staff is a weapon with great destructive capability. In the hands of the unenlightened, it would be little more than a melee weapon."

"I like you." Luna said at the big man. Teal'c just raised an eyebrow at her.

"The point is, we're capable of working with you, but you need to both show us some trust, and trust us to know when to step in." Harry said. "We can't be seen by your people. When we do help, it can't be known that we did. That's why we monitor you in secret. I still know where you go and I usually set it up that I can see what's happening on your latest trip, but just because we're watching doesn't mean we can jump in.

"If the locals hear about us, and tell others about us, it won't be long before the Goa'uld know about us as well." Harry finished.

"And then they'll be looking for you." Jack said. "Like they know about us and are looking for us."

"Exactly." Harry said.

"If they somehow got their hands on Harry, what do you think they'd do with the ability to be anywhere in the galaxy, instantly?" Carter asked.

"They'd put a worm in him and take over every inhabited planet in the Milky Way." Daniel said in realization. "From that perspective, keeping your secrets also protects the Earth."

"A round-about way of thinking, but accurate." Jack said. He looked at Harry for a bit then, with narrowed eyes. "Fine. I'll stop trying to get you to come out of hiding." he relented.

"Could we see your world?" Daniel asked.

"Not yet." Harry said. "Let's see where our current situation leads first."

"Is there a way to contact you?" Teal'c asked.

"Call Mister Lupin." Harry said. "He can add me to a call."

"What if we decide to join you one day?" Daniel asked. "With your capabilities, the SGC would be considered second-rate at best."

"We don't have your computer systems." Harry said.

"What? But you're so advanced?" Carter asked.

"Well…" someone interrupted. It was Samantha Pike. "With the latest upgrades on our mainframe, we do have the strongest supercomputer system known to man. By far."

"Doctor Samantha Pike. This is the people I told you about." Harry introduced. "Jack O'Neill, Samantha Carter, Daniel Jackson and Teal'c."

"Hi. Nice to meet you." Sam said.

"What were you saying?" Harry asked.

"Oh, right." Sam said. "With the new data storage you helped me make, we've got an instant access storage, faster than what Earth has."

"Instant access?" Carter asked.

"No moving parts. Perfect, instant recall." Pike said. "We've already upgraded cooling systems, short-term memory and cache speeds. Next up is processing. I've already got an idea or two for that. I'm just still in design." she said.

"My bad." Harry said. "Apparently we do have computers."

"Computer." Pike corrected. "We've set it up as a terminal server. No need to give everyone their own computer and everyone has access to the same speeds. When we upgrade, that happens for everyone, too."

"You were able to overcome the software issue?" one of the wolves asked.

"I've not loaded your bloody games on our one computer system, no." Pike scoffed. "If you want them so badly, go buy your own system and have the company shield it."

"Shield?" Carter asked.

"Normal technology likes to pop, when exposed to most of his technology." Pike said, pointing a thumb at Harry, as she poured herself a glass of butterbeer. Then she looked at the screen. "Hey! It's my time, switch over to the tournament!"

"But, the paintball-" one of the wolves made to protest.

"Do I look like I care?" Pike asked. "You've got your own TV in your break room. Go watch it there."

The wolf grumbled as one of the others chuckled and used a remote to switch over to another magical sports channel. This one had some sort of sword-fighting on it.

"See, I've missed the introductions. Now I don't know who's fighting who." Pike said, as she watched the pair fighting with glowing swords of light.

"Are those lightsabers?" Jack asked, as he looked between the screen and Harry. "Did you make those as well?" he asked, remembering that Harry said he drew inspiration from the television.

Harry smirked and pulled out his own lightsaber and tossed it over the counter. It now had three settings; Insubstantial, for training; Staff; and Blade. He usually kept it insubstantial.

On the television the two were going at it, without any form of protective gear. One of them had a blue blade and the other was green. Very few people had red, since Harry had claimed that. Only his friends and family had them.

"Was Neville in this tournament?" Fleur asked.

"No, he's still in school." Susan said. "Hannah better appreciate his sacrifice. He really wanted to move to Harmony, but she's got him wrapped around her little finger."

"I think it's sweet." Daphne said.

Jack in the meanwhile, had placed his drink down and was looking at the sleek metal tube. When he found the button, he pointed the item away and pressed it. The insubstantial blade extended with a familiar sound. "Oh, I like this." he said with a smile.

"Susan, pass Teal'c yours and let's see what they can do." Harry said, stepping away from the bar.

"Not in here, you don't." Pike said. "Take them to the training room or something."

Harry smirked at her, and beckoned the guests to follow. They quickly followed him and he led them to the gym. There was a bunch of equipment, but also training mats in one corner, where the wolves trained their hand-to-hand.

Susan took out her training weapon and handed it to Teal'c, showing him how to activate it.

"The current setting allows for fighting without actual damage." Harry instructed. "Hits to the body move through the body. Hits can be blocked by the other lightsaber."

"It won't hurt?" Jack asked, activating Harry's lightsaber again.

"In the current setting." Harry confirmed. "There is also a setting that allows the lightsaber to be used like a baton. Usually we only activate that setting with more advanced users. Only a few of them, like my own, can function like a real lightsaber. I've locked mine on the safe setting for now. If you ever see one of these turn purple, though, don't let it touch you."

Teal'c had already walked onto the mats and gotten into a fighting stance, after testing the weight of the weapon. The blade was insubstantial, so it weighed next to nothing. He didn't know how this would go, so he took it seriously. Jack had tried the weapon on his hand first, to ensure he wouldn't or couldn't hurt Teal'c. Satisfied, he stepped onto the mat and got ready.

The fight was over in one hit, with Teal'c's strength pushing Jack's own blade through his body, seemingly coming out the other side.

"This will take some getting used to." Teal'c said, even as his amusement at the easy win showed on his face.

"Best out of three?" Jack asked, after shaking his hand. The blow was heavy and he'd not been prepared for the impact. The sound of the clashing blades though, was fantastic. Teal'c just got in a ready stance again.

Jack took the initiative this time, and using both hands, they crossed swords again. It surprised Teal'c when Jack outmanoeuvred him, using his speed rather than his strength, as his hold had suggested. He nodded at Jack in acceptance, even as the blade was taken from his chest.

The third time was a quick defeat for Jack. Teal'c had deflected once and run Jack through in quick succession.

"My turn." Susan said. Summoning her blade from Teal'c's hand easily, even though he still had a strong grip on it. Harry yanked his sword from Jack's grip and placed it in Teal'c's hand. "Do you mind?" she asked the big man. She'd not had a chance to spar yet, that day. Teal'c just looked at Harry, like he was asking permission.

"Don't look at me." Harry said. "Look at Susan. She may be a rookie with the Wolves, but she learned swordplay from Neville. He's a very good swordfighter. She's also stronger than you may think." The fact was that Harry had copied Neville's sword fighting for all of their group. It was their first test of Harry copying other people's skills and knowledge.

"Stronger than you?" Jack asked, remembering him lifting the statue that likely weighed tons.

"In some cases, yes." Harry allowed. Physically, Susan was stronger. Her wolf enhancing her natural strength and dexterity. Her wandless magic allowed her to cheat, too.

Teal'c got ready for the fight and when Susan stepped forward for a strike, Teal'c tried to deflect her blow, but was shocked when he needed to exert quite some strength to deflect. Her next hit was also so fast, he barely dodged it, not having time to bring his weapon forward.

The fight was rather one-sided, with Susan being able to deflect his every attempt and him needing to really use his formidable strength to block her strikes. Susan won two in a row, and was declared the winner.

"You'll just have to ask the wolves to spar later." Harry said, when she looked disappointed.

"I can still fight." Teal'c said.

"That's not the point." Harry said. "I'll be taking you back soon and I still need to equip you."

"You're giving us lightsabers?" Jack asked, hopefully.

"And letting your enemy kill you with them?" Harry scoffed, as he took his lightsaber, deactivated, from Teal'c's hand. "I don't think so. Teal'c seems to be better trained for that. Maybe one-day, if you get some training."

Harry led them from the room and to his personal Lab, through a transporter. "This is my Lab. It's not as big as my lab in Harmony, but here I tinker on things that I don't share with anyone."

"Like the x-ray specs?" Jack asked.

"No, our doctors use them all the time." Harry said. "Ask Pansy."

"It's useful to see through to affected organs and bones." Pansy said. She looked at her watch then. "Oh, damn!" she exclaimed. "I have to go!" She didn't wait for any farewells and ran for the transporter.

Daphne took out her Comm, before chuckling. "She's due back for a course on child-birthing." she explained.

"I thought she was already a doctor." Carter asked.

"In our ways, yes." Harry confirmed.

"She's almost done with her studies into your ways." Daphne said. "She's not doing a standard internship, since it's not something she'll need, but she needs to experience something, or at least see each normal procedure, once." Once she saw something her diamond would find a place in her mind and she'll know the process intimately, after all.

"When did she start?" Daniel asked. A normal medical education took many years to complete.

"She's been at it for about seven months?" Harry asked, looking at Daphne.

"Six." Daphne corrected.

"Do your people learn faster than us?" Carter asked.

"Only us." Harry said.

"Something you invented?" Jack asked.

"Yup." Harry said, happily. "Useful trick, that one."

"I'll say." Daniel said. "Going through Eight years of education in six months."

"Thirty." Harry corrected. The person whose memories he'd used had been in the industry for a while, after all.

"She's learning thirty years' worth of medical knowledge?" Daniel asked, not understanding.

"Thirty years' worth of experience and training." Harry corrected.

This had Carter's eyes wide. It was Teal'c who replied, though. "That is a useful ability." he said.

Harry just smiled at the big man, before he stepped behind a counter and rummaged through a drawer. "Personal shield generators, lasers, phasing, transport beacons, EFM transmitters, sexual augmentation, weather manipulation… Ah! Here we are!" he said, finally finding what he was looking for and pulling the previous year's model cell-phone out. "Communication."

"Hold on." Jack said. He'd heard Harry mumble some interesting things. "You've got weather manipulation and you're giving us a cell-phone?" he asked incredulously. He wouldn't ask what sexual augmentation was.

"One that can call SGC from anywhere in the universe, as long as we've got our monitoring up, yes." Harry said. "What, were you expecting me to give you something fancier than that?"

"Hoping…" Jack mumbled.

"Well, too bad." Harry said. "Your biggest problem currently, in my opinion, is communication. If you had the ability to call home, even when there is nothing else available, due to the Stargate being occupied or guarded, you could do quite a few things to get help."

"This also protects our interests, since the phone can be… modified, so that only one of you can see and use it. That way it can't be taken away." Susan said, pulling her own phone out. "Mine is connected to many of our systems and only looks like a normal cell-phone. It's basically indestructible too, so that's useful."

"That would be very useful." Daniel said. He'd also been hoping for something more, but wouldn't complain about the ability to call for help.

"What about transport?" Carter asked. "You said something about a transport beacon?"

"Next time maybe." Harry said. "The beacon works to bring you back to a pre-designated location and only from within a certain range, so I'd need to train you on its use. For now, you get the most important thing."

"He's not wrong." Daniel said. "Galaxy-wide instant communication is a massive advantage."

"Not even the Goa'uld has such technology." Teal'c said, nodding in appreciation at Harry. The Goa'uld had something similar, but not as capable, or inconspicuous.

"See, he gets it." Harry said. He led them from his lab and then took the transporter back to the saucer, from where he took them back to Earth. When they were floating invisibly above the SGC, he said, "Now, don't go testing that phone with any sensitive or expensive equipment. You'll lose the equipment and also make me destroy the phone."

"Can we call you with this?" Daniel asked. He was the one currently holding the phone.

"Oh, right." Harry said, realising he hadn't told them how to use the phone. "That phone works differently. Say 'Call Envoy'." He'd added the description to the Index for this purpose.

Daniel repeated the statement and Harry's personal Comm rang. He picked it up and demonstrated that it worked like any other phone. When he hung up, he mumbled something into his phone and an illusionary screen popped up above Daniel's phone. Daniel was shocked at the appearance and pressed the button to answer. Suddenly he was looking at Harry through the illusionary display.

"Useful, right?" Harry asked. There was the usual feedback, before he hung up. "I haven't quite figured out how to counter feedback."

"That's because you never tried again." Daphne said, looking at her own Comm, which had grown bigger, as she looked through his project list. "It's been more than a year since you tried, in-fact."

"You can add a delay." Daniel suggested.

"I know what you're saying, but I pride myself on my system having no delays." Harry countered.

"His ego can't handle not doing something perfectly." Daphne said, for their benefit.

"You should see his six-pack." Luna said, still with her dreamy smile. "Perfect." she murmured.

"Aaaand that's the end of that conversation." Harry said. "You all good?" he asked the team.

"You're not going to give us anything else?" Jack asked. Harry shook his head. "Then we're good."

"It was nice meeting you all." Luna said, as she walked to Teal'c and hugged him, before she did the same with the others. When they sent looks at Harry he just shrugged. Luna was acting stranger than usual.

Harry transported them back down and then brought the Cacodaemon back on-board, into the hold. As he transported them back to Prometheus, he asked Luna, "What's with the hugs?" he asked.

"Tracking charms." she said. "I thought it might be useful, for if they split up and Daniel calls us for help."

"Did you ever add protections to that Comm?" Susan asked.

"Did it when I was on the phone with Daniel." Harry confirmed. "Only he'll be able to touch the phone, now."

"Clever." Susan said. "Now, what is sexual augmentation?" she asked. Harry smiled, but said nothing. It was just a joke he had made to mess with the team.

OOO

"And?" General Hammond asked. "Are they friendly?"

"The Envoy is a bit weird, but he's got a vested interest in protecting the planet." Jack said.

"Can you tell me anything else?" the general asked.

"Not much, sir." Jack said. "We can publicly call him 'the Envoy' and his people 'the Wolves', or 'our hidden allies', but that's it."

"Did he give you anything useful." he asked.

"Actually, yes." Daniel said, taking out the phone and placing it on the table.

"A cell phone?" the general asked incredulously.

"One that can't be taken from Daniel, is indestructible and can make a call from anywhere in the universe." Jack said.

"Galaxy." Carter corrected. "He specifically said this galaxy."

"Did it sound like his people had ranged out further than this galaxy?" General Hammond asked.

"I don't think so, sir, but he did show us some things that make me believe that such a thing wouldn't be difficult for him." Carter said. "It's incredible, sir. The things he's made… it defies description." 'And logic.' she finished in her head.

"Better not describe it at all, if you want to stay on his good side." Jack said. He looked at his commanding officer. "No offense, sir, but there is a really good reason that we can't give you any specifics. It's not just to protect the Envoy and his people, but us as well."

"He threatened you?" Hammond asked.

"No, sir." Jack denied. "It's not his people that we have to worry about. It's… Wow, it really is difficult to talk around it, isn't it?"

"Indeed." Teal'c said. "The explanation of the explanation makes explaining it impossible."

The general narrowed his eyes as he contemplated this. If what the president had told him was anything to go by, there was a likelihood of this Envoy having been active on the planet for a long time. "How old did you say the Envoy was?" he asked.

"We never asked, sir." Daniel said. "It seemed rude to do that."

"He looked around seventeen or eighteen. He sounded British. He implied that he was of drinking age, when he had a drink with us at his bar, so I'm guessing around there." Jack said.

"He's just a kid, then." Hammond said.

"A very advanced kid, with a mind for invention that not even his own people can match, as far as we can tell." Carter said. "Calling him a friend is probably one of the best things to come out of the Stargate project to date."

"He insinuated that he may be able to help us power the Stargate in the future, or supply us with a means to do it." Daniel said. "If we can keep our relationship with him on good terms."

"Why did he give you the phone?" Hammond asked Daniel.

"Probably because I'm a civilian?" Daniel asked. "He told us that if we tried to open or scan the phone, our machines wouldn't survive it. Something about his technology breaks ours. I didn't see one light bulb in his entire-"

"Stop!" Carter interrupted.

"Right." Daniel said. He turned to the General. "Sorry sir."

"This is going to cause me a headache, isn't it?" Hammond asked.

"Not if you don't think about it, sir." Jack smirked.

"What do you think?" Hammond asked Teal'c.

"The Envoy has capabilities that will give us an advantage over the Goa'uld." Teal'c said. "Maintaining his trust is our only option."

"I'm asking if he's a threat." Hammond pressed.

"If he decided to turn against us and his own people, then yes." Teal'c said. "I don't see that happening. As long as his betrothed are kept safe, I doubt he'd turn against this world."

"Betrothed?" Hammond asked.

"I'm thinking we're reaching the edge of what we're allowed to say here, sir." Carter said. "Let's just say, none of us see him turning on us. He doesn't like inequality and he wants to help people."

"He's also very thoughtful." Daniel said, thinking of him pointing out the damage he had unintentionally done to the aquifer. "He's considerate of people and their needs and necessities. He gave us the phone for the simple fact that communication is the first and most important thing we need."

Hammond sat there in contemplation. It wasn't untrue. If only he'd sent a few more along. SG-1 wasn't the only team they had after all. "Very well." he finally said. He'd gotten more than he thought they'd give him anyway.

The meeting was soon over, with them not able to give much more info anyway, and they went about their business.

OOO

It wasn't a week later that Harry received the call. "Yes, Daniel? he asked. He had watched and followed soon after the team departed. There was a video of the Stargate being opened in 1945 and Harry was interested in what had happened to the man who went through. He had been about to rescue the old man, who had somehow survived for fifty years, when he was told that a mission was underway, so he had watched and waited.

"Can you save the repository?" Daniel asked. "We'll never have this chance again!" he insisted. The citadel they were in was built on a cliff and much of it was falling apart. It was much too big for Harry to fix, and he was worried that the magic of trying would destroy the database of ancient alien knowledge. There was also the consideration that such knowledge would likely be used by the greedy Americans who were looking for weapons.

"I can try, but as you know, my technology may damage what's there." Harry warned.

"It's better than what we have now." Daniel relented, hanging up, before he jogged off, to go join the others who had been working on getting the Stargate to work, with equipment sent through the gate. They had called General Hammond and told him about their situation. They didn't have a device that could generate that much power, but they were able to send something to help them harness the power of the lightning storm safely, rather than just powering the Stargate directly with lightning.

Harry had tried to repair the structure of the citadel using the tractor beam's diamond, but there was simply too much damage. As a last ditch effort, he had shielded the repository console and when the citadel fell away, he was left with the console, hanging in the air. He didn't know if it contained all that information, but he wouldn't be giving it to the Americans either. He brought it on-board and took it to Mars, where Doctor Pike was going to have to see what she could get from it.

Harry had not even set the Saucer down, before he received another call from Daniel. "Were you able to save it?" he asked.

"Hello Daniel. How are you doing? I'm fine, thank you for asking." Harry said sarcastically.

"I'm sorry." Daniel said quickly. "I'm just worried about losing all that knowledge."

"You do know I'm not your bloody babysitter, right?" Harry asked. "But, yes. I was able to save the console. I don't know if the data was on it, but my scientists will be looking into it and seeing if we can get it working again. As we suspected, either my technology or the storm had the effect of depowering the device. For all we know the database was on another planet and the console was just a way to access it."

Daniel was quiet for a couple of moments before he said. "Thank you for trying. I really appreciate it. There's no chance you can give the console to us, for study?" he asked then.

"You already know my answer, Daniel." Harry said.

"You'd rather keep it safe from the military, who would weaponize the knowledge." Daniel said, with a sigh. "Fine. I understand. Thank you anyway."

"Who knows, maybe one day you'll visit my planet and you'll see it again for yourself?" Harry said.

"That would be appreciated." Daniel said.

"Goodbye Daniel." Harry said.

"Goodbye, Envoy. Good luck with uncovering the mysteries of the universe." Daniel said, a bit of a smile on his face.

"Hopefully not for many lifetimes." Harry countered, before he hung up. What would be the fun of being handed all the answers, after all?

OOO

It had been another couple of weeks and when Harry received the next call, he was already in the ship above the mountain. "Yes, Daniel. Get outside. We'll go now." Harry answered before he hung up. It turns out that Teal'c had a son and wife. The son was about to receive his first symbiote, and Teal'c wanted to avoid that. It was the sign of their enslavement and Harry had another mission. He wanted a couple of larva, for his people to study.

It took the team half an hour to appear outside. Unlike before, they were enfolded by a notice-me-not spell, to dissuade people noticing they were disappearing. It was now built into the system. Harry was still working on emulating the technology from Cimmeria, where the Thor's Hammer obelisk stood. He was close, but something about it still confounded him. In the meanwhile, he was merely making it look the same.

When they appeared on the ship, Harry instantly transported them onto Prometheus, activated the transport to Chulak and exited the ship again.

"That was faster than before." Jack said, noticing they were already descending onto the planet.

"No time to lose." Harry said. "You should have told me about your family Teal'c. I could have offered them a place on my planet a long time ago."

"I was under the impression that you do not wish to interfere." Teal'c said with a raised eyebrow.

"Where are your betrothed today?" Daniel asked.

"Most of them are busy." Harry said. "Hermione and Padma are on Prometheus."

"Could we bring a couple of the Wolves?" Jack asked. "Last time we were here, we had to leave in a hurry. It wasn't a happy farewell."

"Guns a-blazing, I bet." Cooper said, slipping out of invisibility.

"I'm sorry, but who are you?" Jack asked, looking at the man in shock.

"Corporal John Cooper, marine corps." Cooper said.

"He's my bodyguard." Harry said, as Cooper disappeared again.

"He just stands there invisible?" Daniel asked.

"No, he's a scout with the Wolves." Harry said. "He can find anyone, and has an uncanny ability to sense traps."

"Useful." Jack said.

"Where are we going Teal'c?" Harry asked.

Teal'c pointed the way and Harry flew them directly in the indicated direction. "You may want to veer around the next town. There will be many Jaffa."

"No need." Harry said. "We're basically invisible and silent."

"You're just full of surprises." Jack said, smirking. "Where do we get one of these?" he asked, then.

"Play nice and I'll make you something sometime." Harry said.

"I'm going to hold you to that." Jack said, seriously, as they flew at speeds that he'd never reached before.

"You need to decelerate." Teal'c said. "We will be there soon."

"Just tell me when we're there." Harry said.

"We are here." Teal'c said, and Harry stopped them instantly.

"How are we still alive?" Jack asked.

"Inertial dampening." Carter said. "How…? Never mind." She had realised it just after saying it. Harry had made the ship and the Prometheus, mostly unassisted, so he probably invented it. Every time they met the young man, there were just more questions.

Harry just smirked at her, before lowering them to the ground and Teal'c ran out to the ruined husk which used to be his house. Harry let them inspect the house, while he stood sentinel.

It was while Teal'c was in the house that Harry felt a knock on his shoulder. "One." Cooper's voice said.

Harry projected his voice by the team's ears. "We have company. One person."

Jack had whipped around, to notice the hatch, which was the only part that was visible of the ship, was missing, along with Harry. Teal'c got up from a kneeling position and readied himself, listening closely for movement. His anger and loss burned in his chest and as the stranger appeared, he almost struck, but he recognised the man at the last moment. It was his old mentor and friend, Bra'tac. He was introduced around, but Harry was nowhere in sight.

"We have one other ally, but he seems to have chosen to hide himself." Teal'c said.

"Is he also a weakling, like these others, hiding in fear?" Bra'tac asked.

(AN: I'll not be using the terms used in the story, since I don't want to add authors notes like this one all the time, but for interest's sake the word he used was Hasshak, for weakling.)

"Envoy, I'd like to introduce you. Could you end your concealment?" Teal'c spoke aloud.

"Sure thing, Teal'c." Harry said, as he appeared right next to the old man, who was startled enough to try and hit him with his staff, but Harry caught it between two fingers, stopping the weapon dead in its tracks. "That's no way to greet a friend."

"What are you?" Bra'tac asked as he was unable to pry his weapon from Harry's two clenched fingers, until he let go. Bra'tac was quick enough to recover, that he didn't hit Teal'c who was not amused by the act. Jack was smiling from ear to ear, though. The old man had dropped him in greeting, after all.

"My name is Harry." he said. "I'm complicated."

"He's a new ally." Teal'c said.

"You are strong for one so young." Bra'tac said.

"You have no idea." Jack said.

The conversation from there turned to where they might find Teal'c's wife and son, who seemed to have escaped the burning of his house. The old man was planning to lead them to the camps outside the city, where the outcasts lived, but instead of following him, Harry simply walked to the ship and it became visible as the hatch opened again. "Coming?" he called behind himself, not looking back.

By the time the others had entered, Harry was sitting in his seat already. "Take a seat and point the way, Mister Bra'tac." He said, as the man looked around at what must have looked like a very strange vessel to him.

"What is this?" he asked.

"We call it a flying saucer back home." Jack said, as he took a seat. He turned to Harry then. "You never did tell us what you called this."

"The Saucer." Harry smirked.

"Are your people responsible for the sightings?" Daniel asked.

"No idea." Harry said. "I made the ship to look like something that nobody would believe, if someone ever reported seeing it." He looked at the old man, then. "Can you please sit down, so that we can get going?" he asked.

Bra'tac took a seat but didn't buckle up like the others had. Harry did it for him. Bra'tac looked down. He'd seen the others buckle up, but didn't think he needed it, so he didn't pay it much mind. He'd seen similar things in his life. "We must go that way." the old man said. When they shot off at full acceleration, with just a bit of g-force coming through, the old man smiled. "I'm liking your allies, Teal'c." That's when the hull went invisible. "I'm really liking your new allies." he re-asserted.

"Harry is a good ally to have, to any who call him friend." Teal'c agreed.

"Then friend, he shall be." Bra'tac said, as they flew over a platoon of Jaffa, who didn't even look up at their passing. "Your stealth is going to serve us well, if we struggle to find Teal'c's son and wife."

It turned out that it was a rather quick trip, taking them merely a minute. When they found the boy, he was about to receive the Larva. Harry didn't open for them. Instead he cast a spell at the priest, giving him the feeling of imminent explosive diarrhoea. The priest ran, like there was no tomorrow, to find some privacy, with a woman looking worriedly on, as Harry chuckled.

"Is that your wife?" Harry asked, as the woman lowered the heavy coverings over her head.

"That is Drey'auc." Teal'c nodded.

"Good." Harry said, as he ported both her and the boy on-board. Then he saw the jar with the Goa'uld larva and ported it on-board as well. He pulled out his Comm and opened the back, like it was a book. Inside there was a large opening and Harry put the jar inside, the opening yawning to allow the bigger object inside. It was what had become of Bill's project to allow people to send things to each other. He closed the Comm, turned it around and sent the contents to a safe box, back home.

"What?" the woman exclaimed as she arrived. "What's happening?" she asked, going to her son and hugging him to her, before noticing Teal'c. "What are you doing?!" she exclaimed.

"Wife, we are here to stop the implantation." Teal'c said. "My son will taste freedom, as I have."

"Freedom, Teal'c?" She asked angrily. "You have condemned your son to death."

It turned out the boy was sick. Jack checked on the boy and recognised the symptoms. It seemed the boy was suffering from something called scarlet fever. He had some meds that would tide the boy over, until something better could be done for him. He requested some water, and Harry produced a glass and some clean water out of thin air, levitating it before the man, so he could mix the substance in and gave it to the boy.

"Who is this?" the woman asked, diverting her gaze. This boy had powers, like a god. She didn't want to offend him.

"He is called Harry." Bra'tac said. "He is the one who brought you onto his ship." He looked at Harry through narrowed eyes.

"He has power, but he does not claim to be a god." Teal'c said. "He is simply an ally who offered freely to help us."

"I believe in the sacred bond of family." Harry said. "Which is why your wife will be offered a place in Harmony."

"God you may not be, but godly is your gift to us." Bra'tac said. "Friend." he added, solemnly.

"Care to do me a favour?" Harry asked.

"Name it." Bra'tac said.

"Take me to where they keep the Goa'uld Larvae." Harry said. "General Hammond has people breathing down his neck for a living one."

"It is sacrilege!" Drey'auc said.

"They're just snakes." Jack said back. "Thanks Harry. This will definitely help make things easier on us."

"You'll still need to 'find' it on your next mission." Harry said. "No freebies."

"Fair enough." Jack said.

"What will happen with my son?" Drey'auc asked.

"I didn't mean that I'd take only you!" Harry exclaimed. "What did I just say about family?" he asked.

"I apologise." Drey'auc said, instantly, still worried about offending the young man.

Bra'tac led Harry to where the Larvae were kept and he simply detached and ported the whole tank up to them. "How many do you need?" Harry asked the team.

"Bring them all." Jack said instantly. "We'll take enough bottles to snag the bunch on the next mission."

After that, they were instantly back on Prometheus.

"I must return." Bra'tac said.

"We'll take care of the kid first." Harry said, activating the Prometheus's transport again. "First things first. What you are all about to see is not to be spoken of to anyone, even under duress. I mean it. This is top secret." The team nodded and Bra'tac looked offended that the boy had to ask, before nodding. "Good." Harry said, before opening the airlock and exiting the Prometheus.

"My god!" Carter exclaimed. "Is that…"

"Mars." Harry confirmed. "I colonised it a few years back. We've been doing some nifty things here that we can't get away with back home. Congratulations. Today you find out exactly what we are."
