Chapter 2: Reincarnation and First Contact

After the reply from the old man, he started to fade and this is when I realized it was time for me to reincarnate, so I close my eyes waiting for something to happen however I felt nothing so I opened my eyes and that was when I realized I was in some tomb.

As I looked around this place felt familiar and that's when it struck me this place was La Iglesia that Scott and his pack visited during Season 4, after walking around a bit I could not find any exit. That is when I noticed that there was stone blocking the exit. 'Just what I needed to test my power.' well, that was what I was thinking.

I stood in front of the stone and released an earth-shaking roar as I slammed my fist into the rock. "ROAAAAAARRRR" "BOOM!!!" When my fist made contact with the stone it felt like tofu my fist when right through it breaking the stone into dust specks. After taking a few seconds for my fist to heal from the damage of contact with the stone, I started to slowly walk forward as I did not want to set off any traps considering this place was the remains of an Aztec temple.

After successfully making it through the maze-like temple without setting off any traps, I finally saw the exit and could not contain the exciting feeling that was running through my bones. As I started to get nearer the exit, I could hear people talking "Where is the creature?" spoke a man with a crossbow in his hand. That was when I suddenly thought about my roar and realized it attracted nearby hunters.

I did the calculations in my head and thought that it must be, The Calaveras, a family of hunters from Mexico. This is because the time that I spent trying to get out of the dammed temple would have given enough time for the Calaveras to get here. As I crept forward I realized there must've been about 20 hunters all waiting outside. 'Well, I just have to guess that they stick to the code' I thought as I stepped outside smirking.

"STAY RIGHT THERE!!" One of the Hunters shouted at me, "You guys better stick to that code of yours." I replied to his shout. Some of the hunters were shocked while others were not surprised. "Stay right where you are until I get back with Araya Calavera our leader." was all that ben got from a guy who looked like he was in charge.

After waiting for another couple of hours, I started to get bored and remember the request to fight with the Hunters but I was thinking that It perhaps was not the best time to start with the requests that the old man has given me. Suddenly I get pulled away from my thoughts, the sound of a truck stopping and a woman stepping out of the car. "Hello, my name is Araya Calavera and I have got a few questions for you." "Hello my name is Joshua Chapman, and I wouldn't expect any less."

Araya was surprised that Josh did not show any fear instead he was open and smiling. "Show me your pupils to show you have not changed anybody or killed anybody." I was not afraid of Araya or her hunters so I changed the color of pupils, however even I did not know what color they were.

"Here you go, what color are they?" was all that I asked but considering the surprised expression on Araya's face I knew something was up and heard her mutter "How is this possible." After hearing this my suspicions were proved true so I continued to press "What color are they?"

"Purple" she stuttered, I was even shocked and asked, "What do they mean?" "You are the chosen one, you are free to go" was all that Araya came out with before turning away and hurried to leave.
