General Glossary

Author's Note: The following definitions are based on how the word(s) is(are) used in the novel. Further, this list of defined term(s) may be updated as the story progresses.

1. Chinese Cultivation: This is a concept applied to extend the lifespan of a person/living being and gain supernatural powers through the use and nurturing/cultivating of one's qi. 

2. Cultivation Realms: These are the stages of Chinese Cultivation when nurturing/cultivating one's qi. (e.g. from the Human Surpassing Realm, one can achieve higher cultivation realms if his/her qi is further nurtured)

3. Origin Court: The court will at least have one Chief Justice, a Secretary General, some (to be revealed in the later chapters) judges, ministers, disciples, and some (to be revealed in the later chapters).

4. Paths: This is the Dao (way/path) a cultivator may take after becoming a Tribulation Transcending Realm. A path will serve as the foundation of a cultivator on what practices or techniques he will be utilizing throughout his (her) cultivation journey. (e.g. Dominance Path, Frost Path, etc.)

5. Realm of Death: This is the second-lowest in the World of Five Realms, in terms of strength, also called Da Sishen. As its name suggests, this is a realm where the aura of death is present everywhere. Foreign cultivators and living beings will be affected by the aura of death unless they are natives who are born in this realm. 

6. Realm of Life: This is the lowest in the World of Five Realms, in terms of strength, also called Da Shenghou. As its name suggests, this is a realm where life is abundant. 

7. Realm of Spacetime: This is the third-lowest in the World of Five Realms, in terms of strength, also called Da Shikong. As its name suggests, this is a realm where space and time distortions are common. 

8. Realm Will (Will): This serves as the one who monitors the progress of one realm in the World of Five Realms. It is a non-existent authority that commands the whole realm's rules. The higher the realm is, the stronger its will. 

9. Ultimate Fortune System: This serves as the main character's (Yang Lujia) guide in his cultivation. It provides abilities for its host (Yang Lujia) to utilize in cultivation-related things and alike.
