Today was a productive day for Eita, he felt that with every joke and fight he had with Masuzu their relationship was progressing, at the beginning he was worried that would play against him and get angry with him, but after observing how she reacted every time he made fun of her, Eita came to the conclusion that despite being upset she didn't hate him and that she actually had fun even if she refused to admit it.

Masuzu was a blank canvas that kept herself away from anything related to love and Eita would make use of that to leave a mark that would not be erased, it would make her mind only think of him either out of anger or happiness, but at the end of the day she would not be able to live without him.

Upon arriving home Eita remembered that there was still one more event left Chiwa was supposed to confront him back home about the rumor of his relationship with Masuzu but due to the changes, Masuzu has made she hasn't told him to leave together (mainly because she is upset and embarrassed by Eita's teasing) so the event didn't happen.

But Eita knew he was just delayed, there is no way Chiwa would let something like this go and even though he hasn't entered he knows that behind that door is a furious girl, taking a deep breath Eita opened the door and prepared for battle.

Just as he expected in the living room sitting on the couch was Chiwa waiting for him, acting clueless Eita greeted her with a smile.

"Wow you came earlier than me Chiwa, now that I remember I have some meat in the fridge, how about we make burgers for dinner today" Eita decided to make use of the food to appease Chiwa.

"Eita" Chiwa called him and Eita felt a shiver run down his spine, in Eita's memories she has only called him by his name when she is very angry so hearing it now inevitably worried Eita.

"At first I didn't believe it, but after several people said it and seeing a picture of you and Natsukawa holding hands I couldn't deny it, tell me the truth E-kun... Are you dating her?" Chiwa who started her speech serious and angry turned to a hurt and sad expression.

"Yes" Knowing that denying it would only hurt her more, Eita told her the truth plus if he wanted to fulfill his dream he would have to take these steps, even if they were hurt momentarily he would take responsibility for them.

Hearing his statement Chiwa could not hold back the tears and they slid softly down her beautiful face.

"Why her, were you seduced by her foreign beauty, weren't you supposed to hate love, is it because I got scared yesterday, is it my fault?" Chiwa threw out several questions, though they seemed more thrown at herself than at Eita.

"No, of course it's not your fault, it has nothing to do with what happened yesterday, that was my fault I shouldn't have pushed you, you are a very important friend to me" Eita clarified.

"Then why, because if I am important you choose her? what if I don't want to be just a friend? why did you tell me that yesterday if you only consider me a friend, were all those words like friends?" Chiwa unleashed and released all her frustrations.

"I... sigh, I can't tell you the reason for now" Eita considered telling her the reason why he was in a relationship with Masuzu, but it wasn't the time yet, his relationship with Masuzu was just starting and it was fragile, if he ever revealed what was going on behind curtains Masuzu probably wouldn't trust him again and a rift would form that could cause the end of his relationship with her.

"I see, then she is more important than me, then stay with her" Chiwa with her head down spoke and then tried to leave the house.

Eita scared by the thought that Chiwa would never speak to him again and their relationship would end there restrained her before she could get through the door.

"Wait, I can't tell you yet for several reasons, but it's not true that I care more about her, you occupy a big space in my heart, you have been with me during all these years accompanying me, at the beginning you were just a great friend to me, but with the passing of time my feelings for you have become stronger.

I don't know what I feel at this moment, but I can't let you go, I don't want to, if you leave I feel my heart will break, I know I'm a wretched and cursed person who doesn't deserve you, but please don't leave me, I don't know what I would do without you" Eita poured out his true feelings, his stay has been short, but in his heart Chiwa is already an important part, without her by side his life will not be the same.

After speaking Eita felt his heart beating a thousand per hour, his erratic breathing gradually calmed down, synchronizing with Chiwa's breathing, so in the middle of the dark room you could only see the shadow of two people and apart from the silence, you could only hear their breathing getting heavier and heavier.
